This is a tough one. When I was younger - The Beast: Kings Island. At night, with sunglasses on, and after a hot summer rain and the entire coaster is covered in fog. One of the best rides I have ever had. Now a days I would love to ride more big and bad ones, but after a bit of a health scare a couple years, I'm leaning towards things a bit more mild. Hiccups Gliders was real fun recently.

Let me start with my least favorite coaster, that being Mind Eraser at Elitch Gardens! Extremely rough, and the ride operators require you to hold your head back against the seat, lol!

My favorite would have to be Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland. It is such a classic ride, and I have always loved the mountain with the red color. The theming is perfect too! When I was younger, I downloaded a blueprint of BTMR and tried drawing my own version, as well as drawing roller coasters in 4th grade class, and my teacher was very impressed by my drawing of Riddler's Revenge. I have never been on that ride, but I think my knees would buckle on it because it is a stand-up twister.

So, I actually got a rollback on my first and only ride on Hiccup's Wing Gliders on the first launch. The music continued as we were stalled and rode most of it in silence. The second launch had no audio for our train until we went through it and ended the ride with audio.

Big Thunder is a classic that is constantly getting updated and seeing retracks across the many versions. I think Disney takes a ton of care of it and should be doing this with other attractions.

Fun Fact. There was a study on on this because of feedback from real people. It is a known proven fact that if you ride the back row of BTM (in MK only)....it will help you pass kidney stones almost immediately. Something about the forces, shaking and direction of the turns. Look it up!!!

I've heard of this too. I think the opposite may have happened with Superman's Escape haha! Just kidding.

I also think BTMR would be my pick for favorite coaster. I love the theming, and it's tame enough that I can handle it. Unfortunately, motion sickness keeps me from riding most coasters these days. So I have to stick with very tame ones. Even Space Mountain can make me extremely ill.

And Xecronius, not only did I make my own drawings of BTMR, built a model of it too...

Not perfect, but not bad, either.😋

That's AMAZING! Fantastic work! No wonder you're the go-to guy for RCT3 Disney CSO! Haha.

Happy National Coaster Day!

The question of this discussion is what is your favorite coaster?

Mine is Velocicoaster at Islands Of Adventure.

Velocicoaster is 👑

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
