Super cool layout and idea, really cool to see them both racing and that 90 degree bank turrn shot is super cool! Gives me dueling dragon vibes!

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Also, I had some inspiration yesterday and I already started a brand new project. Here's a little sneak preview :)

Work continues on my brand new project!I've done most of the support work, which because I'm using the Blue Fire CT took a lot of time but I'm happy with the result.

The lay-out is also going to be fast, intense but also very smooth if I say so myself. Here you can see a turnaround elemental with some very smooth transitions:

The final part where the coaster goes a little bit below ground level. I'm thinking of building a small cave or something for some added thrills:

Until the next update!

Had a bit of time today to work on the decoration and I decided to go with a tropical theme on this one. It's really nice to see that the stock tropical trees actually have a lot of smaller trees/foliage which really helps:

And like every other coaster, everything's accompanied by Beastie's Path Mods and Shyguy's Planters for some nice fencing as well:

Here's a nice before and after of a small pond I made in the middle of the coaster:

Hey folks! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, but I have been working on a brand new project and building it bit by bit. This new project is quite ambitious, as I was inspired by Dueling Dragons to make my own dueling inverted coaster! Here's a quick teaser:

teaser.JPG.126bf747aa297b96b380201479df1b09.JPG

As you can see the lay-out is pretty much done, and it was quite a challenge to make this all sync up and at the same time not be too janky in terms of the ride itself. Just like Dueling Dragons it has two loops right next to eachother which both trains go through pretty much at the same time. You might have noticed the black/white/brown theme, and that's because I'm going for an asian/oriental themeing for this ride.

Here's a quick top view of the layout:

To be continued!

Hey everyone! Here's a quick update on my dueling inverted coaster. So currently I decided to pause this project and allow myself some more time to try and come up with some more inspiration. It's going well so far, with lots of attention to detail. Enjoy the pictures!

So what am I working on instead? Well recently I finally decided to try out Moby's Pinewood supports and try my hands on building some proper wooden side supports like you have in RCT2. Turns out it's actually quite doable! Here's a quick preview:

Because of this and the lack of inspiration, I decided to pause the dueling coaster for now and see if I can make a proper woodie with those side supports so stay tuned for that!

Wow your foliage work is amazing on that dueling coaster, love those little springs and ponds you have! Can't wait to see the POV of that one! Also that support work on that woodie is insane... I'd go crazy making those haha

Thanks! I would go crazy but thank god that the supports under the track are automatically changed due to a mod I downloaded, and the side supports I always make and then save as a premade design. Basically, I have a premade design for one of those side supports, then another design for two in a row, three in a row, etc. I just copy paste that based on what fits and in the end it actually takes a lot less time compared to making custom steel supports with Moby's Steel Jungle :)

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...Wicked Rumbler!

This woodie is the first coaster I made to have proper wooden supports with the use of the Wooden Supports Replacement mod and Moby's Pinewood Supports! I originally never wanted to create any sort of woodie with custom supports as I thought it would take an eternity to build all of the wooden beams. However, with the Wooden Supports Replacement mod it really wasn't that difficult. All I had to do was fabricate some custom side supports, and with the help of the premade scenery option I was able to save some premade designs and copy/paste that wherever I thought it would fit.

Here's the end result!

rumbler1.JPG.ab27bb5049318719b311b06a7673d2cb.JPG

As you can see, the side support structures are quite intricate, and I did my best to make sure they align with the track:

rumbler2.JPG.73d31fb9fe8ff68202656cd30eefff4a.JPG

Here's a screenshot where you can see that just like a woodie in real life, the lower section of the track actually goes through some of the side supports creating lots of near miss moments.

rumbler3.JPG.f421e4b4e2256bcc6cbb3309c6d5cea3.JPG

Now I didn't want the area around the coaster to be too empty so I made a small park. It's got some nice western building at the entrance, a central gathering place with a ferris wheel, benches and some shops as well as some other flat rides that surround the coaster.

rumbler4.JPG.25a3adffd482aa9d9bbf9d2205af236a.JPG

Here's a nice shot of the lift hill, which really shows just how many side support beams there are.

rumbler6.JPG.48d1b1dc93aaf7156948bf7c599a92ec.JPG

And another cool shot if you ask me :)

rumbler7.JPG.1748b10c339e5836f45ae6e23b8f29f3.JPG

And here's a top down view of the layout! It actually took me a lot of tries before I finally found a layout that I deemed to be realistic enough while providing lots of flow and good stats.

I like how you give each coaster an entire map to play around in. Generates a lot more freedom for creativity, space and really lets them breath and sink into whatever theme you're creating.

All my coasters are stuffed into a park. Most of the time it's fine, because limited space also spawns creativity in my opinion, but you also have to sacrifice your vision sometimes. Doing it your way allows you to showcase one coaster at a time, and I like that. I think I've only ever done this 2 or 3 times, and I've sucked pretty hard at the attempts lol.
