June 12Jun 12 See the stars. Ride the movies.'We're really happy to be here in Florida and... we'll be here forever. Thank you...'Hi, guys! This is my first time posting on this but I just wanted to share my recreation of Universal Studios Florida as it was when it had its grand opening in 1990. The history and constant evolution of this park has always been so fascinating to me and I really wanted to create something like this to bring fans of classic Universal back to the time where Kong caused havoc on the streets of New York, Earthquakes would shake Central Florida, Jaws would roam the seas and you could see the place where Nick was made. I actually started this about five or six years ago and the file got corrupted as I started building Amity until just recently, I managed to fix the safe file and finally finish it. I used RollerCoaster Creations' version of current Universal as the basis but I wanted to make it as functional of a park for the guests as I could make it and get every detail as accurate as I could make it. I haven't been keeping track of all the CS I used but I would definitely love to put it up for download sometime soon.'... was filmed in front of a live studio audience at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios Florida.'Please let me know what you all think! Any feedback is welcome! Edited June 12Jun 12 by TomG123
June 13Jun 13 Yay a Universal park! Great start and I am excited to see what else you do with this recreation.
June 16Jun 16 This is a blast from the past! You don't often see low CS park recreations anymore, this looks great and feels so nostalgic! So fun seeing Back to the Future again 😆 there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
June 16Jun 16 Author Park is now up for download! Hope you all enjoy! ...and I hope I didn't leave out any of the CS.
June 16Jun 16 Congrats on the release! For a low-custom content park this is pretty good and has the classic RCT3 feel while being quality work.
June 17Jun 17 well, if I download this park, I will add some things missing like that mca recording studio that used to be next to stage 54 (the standing cfr can be used for things (like a recording studio for your peeps) if you know how to put it properly

June 25Jun 25 Author Thank you everyone for all the lovely comments! I've also uploaded the park onto RCTgo if anyone is interested. My main goal with the park was also to make it as accessible for the in-game guests as I could and thankfully, it's gone down really well with only a few asking for more rides. I'm hoping that will die down for when BTTF opens. The guest's favourite ride is most definitely The Funtastic World Of Hanna-Barbera with Kongfrontation being a pretty close second. Barely anyone rides JAWS! which is a bit of shame because that's one of the rides I'm most proud of.But now of course, it's time to start evolving this park the same way the real Universal did. And we've aged up the Psycho IV Bates sets to the way they looked after filming for the movie wrapped. Both buildings also kept a portion of their pristine looks on their sides. And Nickelodeon Studios is currently working out new ways to distribute their slime... Edited June 25Jun 25 by TomG123
Sunday at 05:05 PM3 days I love it! I like that you are continuing this project. It is a solid mix of in-game and custom content. How far are you looking to go into the park's history (2000s, modern, etc.)?

I think I probably will go up to current day, it’s just going to be hard having to part with pretty much everything I’ve done bar E.T. I’ll definitely go up to at least 2002 as I think that was the year Classic Universal really started to fade away with Kong closing and I think that might be a good place to end. But I’ll definitely see how I feel when I reach that stage. ;-)
