August 6Aug 6 Prof. Marvel really like his superlatives, doesn't he. :-p This area has FUN written all over it!
August 7Aug 7 It's great seeing the park with guests. I suppose citytrader has a beefier gaming rig than his partner in crime. So Thorpe gets memorialized in the park but Bolger gets nothing?😠 Or did I miss something? Ray's Barber Shop;[img]Heading from Marvel's World, we pass a meet and greet. Today, you can see Glinda;[img]The horse drawn trolley makes a stop here, and you can see the farm up ahead;[img]The Gale Farm is probably the smallest "land" in the park;[img]The family attraction here is Toto's Barnyard Review, a live animal show;[img]Excited guests queueing up;[img]A kid-friendly restaurant serves up delicious food at Aunt Em's Country Kitchen;[img]More soon!
August 14Aug 14 Hmm, I wonder if Glinda's pink bubble keeps over zealous kids from reaching in? Aunt Em's Country Kitchen reminds me of Disneyland's Chicken Plantation restaurant, from the early days. Or maybe Cordelia Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. Thanks, cititrader.

August 29Aug 29 Author Sorry, real life and all that...The apple orchard and pumpkin patch;[img]Forget Aunt Em's, this fox may just get a free chicken dinner;[img]The only flat ride at the farm;[img]Zeke's Barnstormers really packs them in![img]Overview of the area;[img]We'll visit Dorothy's house next!
August 29Aug 29 I had some catching up to do and Glinda in the bubble was adorable and clever. Great to see you guys still at it with this one, it's too good of a project to let go of :) ❤️
August 29Aug 29 Is the Barnstormers a real or faux ride? Sorry, I'm too lazy to open the game and check for myself. 🤔 "Do you think it's just sunshine and singing and pretty colors when you grow up? Well I should say not." --Hattie Dorsett (Sybil)
August 29Aug 29 Author Yes, it's a real ride called Test Flight, not faux. This unique ride was based on an original manufactured in 1948 by Eyerly Aircraft Company. The ride was designed to train pilots. Surprisingly, the peeps love it, but it has pretty dismal numbers. Wait times are pretty terrible because the ride is so long. Shorten the ride time, and no one wants to go on. I used Cain's ride estimator (or whatever that guide is called) to get the best numbers I could out of it. At least it draws the peeps to that area! The Toto Show is the Coriolis ride, always a peep pleaser. The Gale household holds the Twister ride;[img]One has to walk through the parlor, front hall, and other rooms in order to get to the actual ride. The corridors also serve as a "backdoor" to another new area of the park that we'll unveil soon;[img]"Auntie Em, it's a twister!"[img]"I get the feeling we're not in Kansas anymore"[img]The actual twister ride is a beautifully scenic Elixer machine;[img]
August 29Aug 29 Took me a while to find the fox in that pic; he blends in really well! Auntie Em must be kept pretty busy planting, and caring for, all the nice flowers around the farm. Maybe she has the hired help do the gardening chores. I'm sure Dorothy doesn't do it... she's too much of a daydreamer to be of much use... Plus, she's always running off to who knows where.
September 2Sep 2 Author Hovering over Gale's farm;[img]There are actually four separate ways to enter our next land. There's a small hidden path in the carnival area;[img]A similar area near the Gale farm;[img]After riding the Tornado ride;[img]Or the main entrance over the rainbow bridge (no pets allowed);[img][img]Next stop;[img]

September 2Sep 2 I like relatively obscure alternative routes in theme parks. Disneyland and WDW have quite a few. They take you away from the crowds of people and allow you to see new things or see them from a different angle.
September 3Sep 3 Author Munchkinland![img]The mayor and general of the army want to meet you![img]This place is just adorable![img]Uncle Nunkie wants your money![img]The iconic pond, bridge, and giant daisy. Looks like Glinda floated in again![img]This spot looks strangely familiar![img]
September 3Sep 3 Well, maybe Glinda did float in again. But I'd wager that she's just engaging in her bad habit of chewing bubble gum. (She won 1st prize, for biggest bubble, at the Oz County Fair.)I love the whimsical, friendly look of Munchkinland. So Oz-y!
Friday at 02:52 AM5 days I have absolutely no idea how you can accomplish that pathing in the last photo without the PC2 pathing system. Actually, I have no idea how to accomplish that in PC2 either.Love the combination between replicating the film while still being able to give your own take on Munchkinland. Without going back to read 12 pages, is this a different map from the one you guys were working on previously? I was thinking Munchkinland had already been revealed much earlier

There's still one last bench to be revealed, but since it's been awhile - and the park was closed before - he decided to open the gates, let the peep's in and do a quick walk through with them added.

That spiral is made up of, I think, 5 or 6 individual TMTK pieces that fit together, since the size limit on custom scenery in PC1 is 8mX8 m. I made it first in SketchUp, divided it into sections that fit within the 8mX8m limit, then imported it into Blender and then the Editor. Unfortunately the textures got slightly shifted in the process, which is why they don't quite line up on a piece or two as you can see in the screenshot. After fiddling with it and remaking it multiple times I finally gave up and decided to blame it on Dinkie Doolittle, the cross-eyed brick layer from Quadling Country who was the low bidder on the construction of the Yellow Brick Road...
Friday at 01:59 PM5 days Author hmmm, I don't recall seeing this little house before![img]Looks like the coroner has already come calling;[img]The first ride we encounter;[img]That's quite a long queue;[img]Looks like fun![img][img]I wonder what's across this bridge? Let's follow the yellow brick road![img]
Sunday at 05:10 PM3 days The tea cup ride has got a great colour scheme. And is very well integrated into the environment!
Monday at 12:21 PM2 days Author A children's play area is located across the bridge, Munchkin's Water Works, combining a splash zone with a kiddie coaster.[img][img][img][img]Boy, it's crowded over here;[img]A mechanic is working on the Little Bugs ride. Let's hope he can get it up and running soon![img]Next up;[img]
