  1. Classic wooden coasters dominate this park! I have not touched RCT2 in years, but loved going crazy with coasters (pretty much sending the peeps to space and crashing). I think if you are going for themes, work with the woods with a long coaster (maybe a hyper for a variety) and possibly space out the park a bit more because it looks almost like a fair and concrete. Saskquach I would think to be a rather expansive coaster through the tree, so possibly work with that or make that a steel coaster so it roars across the park. Just my thought process, probably a jumbled mess 😆.
  2. I love this park! I see much of the studio parks being inspirations for this project and the level of details is amazing! This park takes the chaotic films and makes them into lands with original attractions. Amazing!
  3. I like it! This is a fun park that is very detailed and features some big thrilling coasters throughout the park! I keep debating getting Parkitect and this might be another project that gets me closer to caving in.
  4. Nothing beats a good classic Fantasyland dark ride! Having them in your parks also helps with the higher capacity and in the long run, revenue! Hope you have the lightning lane (priority pass) queues in your attractions because those will be very popular! I am always excited to see how this project develops and I am looking forward to more!
  5. I like this! Plus it is a mini park so I am curious as to what future plans are in relation to park size. Looks like you are packing in amazing details and some good classic attractions!
  6. See that is a bayou adventure! One that actually shows different locations of New Orleans and the swampy setting that Princess and the Frog takes place in. I think that ride system is better than a log flume system because log flumes almost feel rushed because of the knowledge that a big drop is typically at the end. The ride system you used allows riders to enjoy the sights and animatronics more because of the lack of the anticipation of a huge drop to take over. This is a pretty effective overly, hopefully Dr Facilier does not find a way to make deals with the riders. Overall, I love the area and Tiana's Palace probably has the best food in the park!
  7. Please tell me you have Epcot shows in mind because the sets would probably be incredible. I love what you did with the now extinct Disney shows and remember quite a few of the videos because they were great takes on the shows. Amazing!
  8. This show is beautiful! I think this is a showcase in itself, whether it be pyro, lighting, or fountains is completely up to you. Looking at the remarks made by @wolfpaw I can see what he is saying about language barriers and how the posts leading up to the show almost presented "chapters." The visuals were great and I think the set could be reused for a natural show. The front pieces definitely make me think of flowers which could lead to many storylines. This show is definitely visually appealing and showing it off is the right thing to do! Well done!
  9. Again, the realism is absolutely fantastic! Highland Rumbler looks beautiful with the landscape and looks to be a thrilling attraction.
  10. Happy Sunday everyone! Here is an overview/update on what is being developed and coming soon to World Of Discovery! Next month the park hits 7 years of operation with many of those years seeing major overhauls like the one that is currently in development. Every trip to World Of Discovery begins with an entrance photo/overview. In the nearly 7 years of this project's existence, the main entrance has set the tone for many updates and has played a key role in the park's history for being the first thing guests see before discovering something new. The World Of Discovery entrance sign mirrors the park's symbol which is an icon in both the RCT3 world and the real world for being an engineering marvel. 2024 it is rumored that the first attraction guests discover will be seeing a small refurbishment. More than likely to look into the ride system as there has been long periods of downtime. The best thing is that this attraction can hold many guests. The downside is that the high capacity would have to shift elsewhere in the park, which currently has a very small offering of attractions for now. Many updates are occurring behind Spaceship Earth. The number of food of beverage offerings is only going to increase when the Discover Eats quick service opens soon. The remaining work is the interior as much of the exterior has been formed other than the roof and details that are connected to the glass panels. The fountain during the mornings is quiet but come lunchtime and up until an hour or two before nighttime entertainment, the fountain comes to life. You cannot beat this view though. The park's main gift shop, Starbucks, a pizza grab-and-go, ice cream, and soda shop are in this section. This same building will house Discover Eats when that opens. There will be two entrances to Discover Eats when it opens to guests. Be sure to get the ParkCrafters and SGW merchandise. Revenue is used for more experiences and much of what is being planned! Of course if you need any assistance, ask our team members for help because they are always happy to help. This angle shows both entrances to Discover Eats. It will be a massive quick service that caters to all guests with a variety of foods. Food will range from standard burgers and hot dogs to cultural delights as this is a world of discovery. One of the first overviews of this update shows the left side of the park taking shape. Experience prehistoric times, natural wonders, and where it all began to come to be. Also in this overview is a hint of what has been teased in previous posts by media that have worked up some wonder as to what it could be. Much of the construction process for this project involves laying out in-game paths for guests before adding protective covers and borders when the pathways are finalized. This also adds a bit of realism. Get ready for future discoveries as guests will travel to the Big Bang in a thrilling adventure among the cosmos. Details will be shared in the future, but expect a thrill that is out of this world! Discover the newest nighttime spectacular Discover starting next month! This will be the park's largest nighttime display of pyrotechnics and other effects that will be sure to leave a mark in the World Of Discovery history books. Another overview shows the layout of the Discover barges. The World Exposition Lagoon has plenty of room for guests to view this show. Once World Exposition is fully complete, expect there to be numerous locations for guests to sit and enjoy what we have to offer both during the day and at night. The right side of the park is not as developed as the left. The planning phase is still in progress for this area as there are many ideas that are being evaluated. Additions to Epcot are being looked at but will be reworked to fit this park as well as original concepts of what could be popular in each area. Explore the seas, weather, and space in this area of the park with various experiences under development. Ideas call for some thrilling attractions as well as some "edutainment" options to encourage guests to make a difference in the world. Much like Epcot, this park wants to entertain and educate visitors in creative ways. World Of Discovery is going to continue to grow and change. This update shows a little bit of the development process as well as hints at possible ideas that are in development. I have a long list of things to add to this project and I am happy to share what is being cooked up!
  11. If you hear that then it is a delay.......
  12. We have to go back.....
  13. I have a feeling we are going to travel all the way back to the Big Bang....
  14. Is this real life or Planet Zoo? The only way I can tell is by the Planet Zoo/Planet Coaster people. I have always loved cityscapes in theme park creations because it gives a sense of location. This is just outstanding and I am super excited to see more!
  15. I like what I am seeing. This park definitely has an Epcot World Showcase influence with a little bit of a Busch Gardens park with the thrill rides. This park is pretty beautiful and does a great job in having a landmark for each area. I am happy you have a boat system because that would be quite a bit of walking and Planet Coaster guests are a bit picky at times. Excellent job!
  16. Noting some of this for a new Egypt section in World Of Discovery. I have typically placed a family invert and an indoor dark ride set inside a pyramid in my Egypt areas. Your Egypt looks very kinetic in how the pathways work with surrounding attractions and those attractions weave throughout the area. Very exciting!
  17. "Similar to that other place" what are you hinting at 😉? This park is really beautiful already and I am excited to see how you handle some of the realms of the Wizard Of Oz.
  18. This is interesting. Fantastic widescreen screenshots it definitely shows the scale of the coaster more. For the coaster itself, this is unique! I could see this being used in a boardwalk setting with the wood painted white surrounded by flat rides and carnival games. I find this coaster very interesting because you could do a lot with it that you are already doing (Ex. close call elements where peeps think they are going to lose their legs). Just wow!
  19. The set design oddly gives me Rivers Of Light vibes with the lighting and with some of the shapes. Cannot wait for more!
  20. Beautiful! The set is unique and the pyro is definitely the star of the show with the effects working with the music so fluently.
  21. Incredible! Might need to provide eye protection from all of the effects being so eye popping.
  22. I would just have to find an Epcot fan to do some collaboration with. Just have to say the construction walls will be removed so it does not scare them off. 😆 Spaceship Earth lighting is definitely a wishful thinking item much like Cinderella Castle Dreamlights in RCT3. Both would be sights to see but are probably a pain to do. I envision a show similar to Illuminations just with Harmonious equipment (mostly for the ridiculousness of it). I typically just have my nighttime entertainment as a story point in my parks since they are pretty difficult to work with and require a lot of patience (I have none). Plus it is difficult having a full scale show in a large park file. I might test it out in the near future with mini-shows. Easy now, media events are next month. Just have to apply for the media badge. I still have to do the ParkCrafters after-party for the promotion.
  23. I just have to find creators who want the same things in-game. Not so much bribing as that is wrong.......showing off the park's defense system might be a different story 😉.
  24. One thing you are known for and have been known for are your coasters! Please keep up the awesome work because you push the game to limits of looking as if it were in the real world. I don't think I have a favorite coaster by you because it is very hard to choose!
  25. I love the set design! This show looks really advanced in terms of choreography and story to blend the effects in naturally. I do look forward to seeing how you work with the set and integrate it into the effects because there are a lot of points/spikes in the set that could be used in sequences of "chaos" to make it an even more vital part of the show. Amazing!
