  1. Here is a first look at the new area Discover Park. Still needed to be complete is landscaping, path covers, shop/restaurant details, and other guest necessities. This area features a new water feature and will have the park's fountain as the main focus while blending in the geodesic motif into the area and bring in more shade in the near future. This refurbishment is part of WOD-9 as the park reaches its 9th anniversary next month. Once complete, other areas that are having land and stories prepped will begin further development.
  2. Still a fun project to watch and help grow. I am happy to see quite a bit of variation rather than making a Disneyland Park recreation. That is tough as it is, but I see you are having fun with it. Each land you seem to be stepping away from that Disneyland recreation mindset allowing you to explain your process and decisions more. My favorite attraction currently is Big Thunder Mountain due to it being your own take with heavy influences on multiple versions. Please continue the great work my friend.

Great to see another RCT3 player. Very nice of you to upload the custom content you used. If it was a tedious process, I might suggest a Custom Content Required text file to save you the trouble of linking everything.
  4. Like the wave of the Fairy Godmother's wand, Cinderella Castle is back to its original color scheme. Alluding to the real Magic Kingdom (stepping aside from the RCT3 world), it is crazy that the current paint scheme lasted only 5 years. The colors were pretty bold in the beginning up until 2021 when they had to rework the spires due to the harsh Florida sun. The original "royal blue" was turning into a shade of purple from fading, then the pink faded from its original colors. A very interesting time in Magic Kingdom's history as the original intent was a rose-pink color for the walls. Here is a long, drawn-out section discussing the interesting paint scheme. Images shown are from multiple sources as well as my own pictures from "research" trips. The original concept art for the 2020 paint scheme is shown below. The paint scheme was able to be applied while the park was closed due to the events of Covid-19, most of it was complete by the time the parks reopened. Only a few sections were done before the park closures such as spires and some walls. The image below is from March 15, 2020. Guests got a glimpse as to what was being applied to the castle. The royal blue looked incredible on the turrets, they have been repainted a few times due to the Florida sun, but nobody expected the turrets to fade super quickly as shown in later images. The resorts opened before the parks, but some would drive through the empty WDW property to get this moment in history that was the closure of many tourist destinations. From July 7, 2020. This was during CM previews which then rolled into AP previews and the reopening on July 11. Sharing some of my images, the images below are from December 2020 on Christmas Day. Because of the events, the park was empty in comparison to a pre-Covid Christmas. For the circumstances, some areas were busy. This was the first time I saw the new colors in person, and it was shocking. (Note: taken on an iPhone 12 Pro) From March 2021, this image from wdwmagic shows how some of the spires were in the process of being repainted during the addition of decorations for the 50th anniversary. Some forum discussions show more progression in the spires being repainted. I was able to visit the Magic Kingdom in June 2021. I knew they had reworked the spires, so I was excited to see it in person. They were also adding decorations for the 50th. I believe they were mostly complete, but my image below is pretty different in comparison to those taken in 2020. Fast forward to June 2025, much of the colors on the walls have faded. The spires have stayed blue since 2021 and after the 50th. No more of the weird purple stage of life they had. Again, another chapter in the Magic Kingdom history book. August 31, 2025, the following concept art was presented at Destination D23. From posts, this announcement had the loudest reaction from the crowd as it was revealed Cinderella Castle was going to a paint scheme inspired by the original look of Cinderella Castle. I am excited to see how long it takes for the original look to return. I do have hopes for the Dreamlights to return, even though that is highly unlikely. This was a sidestep from my RCT3 project to show how the real-world theme park announcements can weave their way into our park projects.
  5. To align with the recent announcement made at Destination D23, Cinderella Castle at Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai will also be receiving a new paint scheme to match that of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
  6. I have loved seeing this attraction develop. BTMRR has always been a tough one to make and you nailed the layout and scale of it.
  7. Great set and the music has been stuck in my head every time you work on this in call.
  8. So I found it @WBchris Warner Bros Studio Set - Custom Scenery - ParkCrafters
  9. Beautiful! This Main Street is colorful and full of life and I have watched it grow and improve into a nice area. I am super excited for DLA.
  10. Welcome to Parkcrafters!!! Glad you made the move here!
  11. I agree with Wagbigbear, the Chronos being at the front makes much more sense. Now the park seems heavier on the Epic Universe spectrum, which is awesome! I will say from the real park, the ticketing and security area is small. The buffer between the two is small and something I wish was a bit different in the real world. Other than that, amazing project!
  12. Absolutely, you are the original creator of the boat. If anything I should have been finding you 😅.
  13. "Today we're going to the Happiest Place on Earth.... We'll have some Disneyland fun! Let's begin on Main Street, just before the Magic Kingdom opens." Main Street during the morning is as magical as when guests are making their way to their first destination. Lately, Main Street saw a pretty extensive refurbishment (in terms of the RCT3 world). This refurbishment involved shifting the buildings closer and modifying guest pathways to fit the rescaled area. The effect of doing this also allows for a better reveal of Cinderella Castle. This change really beckons back to the earlier days of this project where Main Street was much smaller and slimmer than the previous version. The rescaling was suggested by @wolfpaw and @Xecronius who have been huge collaborators in both morale and RCT3 techniques. Looking back at Main Street Station, everything seems to fit perfectly and serves as an example of how quick RCT3 park projects change.
  14. You definitely have improved with each update. I know we have done a lot of voice chats to get the park even better. Main Street is looking really good!
  15. If you end up getting this to work, I have some ideas for you for similar attractions (Astro Orbiter for Disney parks).
  16. I actually was able to make a version that operated as transport rather than in the standard ride mode. I also put the platforms used on the soaked in-game boats. Now I am able to have multiple stops and peeps stay onboard.
  17. Welcome! I have been a huge fan of your work and have used your Friendship boats religiously. I am super happy to see you here!
  18. Are you ready to rock it? Now open at Universal Studios Park
  19. I am hearing more rumors that walls are expanding outwards and some huge additions are already starting to appear.
  20. So, I actually got a rollback on my first and only ride on Hiccup's Wing Gliders on the first launch. The music continued as we were stalled and rode most of it in silence. The second launch had no audio for our train until we went through it and ended the ride with audio. Big Thunder is a classic that is constantly getting updated and seeing retracks across the many versions. I think Disney takes a ton of care of it and should be doing this with other attractions.
  21. Happy National Coaster Day! The question of this discussion is what is your favorite coaster? Mine is Velocicoaster at Islands Of Adventure.
  22. The RCT3 world seems to move quick once rumor mill starts turning. I received word that construction walls and signage starting to appear in the park almost overnight. Like the ParkCrafter I am, I decided to see if this is true and how much of the park is blocked by walls. This park seems to love construction walls. Of course a classic shot that must be taken by all guests. If you do not take pictures of the park symbol, did you really visit the park? Well, we have construction walls. The signage matches the ticket booths at the park entrance with the World Of Discovery logo created by CaptainEO a few years ago. Looks like the walls will be added in phases possibly? It looks like the fountain is blocked off by the construction walls. The breezeways are wide open, but one thing to notice is that there are already lamp posts behind the construction walls. The RCT3 world is no joke and things can appear and disappear within seconds. I am predicting this will be a common sight for a while. Future discoveries await as the signs say....
  23. It has been needed for a long time, hopefully the rumor is true and we have the funding 😉. When I went to Epic Universe I actually said "well I found where Epcot's fountain went" because it was such a nice feature to sit by and enjoy. I actually sat in the seating area to eat dinner to-go from a nearby mobile order window. Epcot went to being a concrete jungle while they claimed there was going to be more shade.
