This definitely takes me back to classic RCT3 parks. Looks like a great variety of attractions and areas.

Disney's Hollywood Studios at Disneyland Resort Dubai: October 15, 2025 Update & Ranting
Tomorrow will be the one-year anniversary of Disney's Hollywood Studios official opening. This project is a fun one that is currently getting love to continue being a part of my project list. I am happy to share the following update on the park with the old park file being cooperative (for the time being). The entrance remains the same outside of the park. This park file has my favorite entrance for any of my Disney Studio park projects (the other file was similar just a bit bigger). Plus, the billboards help add a bit of detail to the park. Currently, the park is in redevelopment of some guest areas. The area inspired by Hollywood Boulevard is one of them. Buildings are being pushed inwards one tile to make the main street a bit slimmer. With this, recent strategies in handling the path covers are being used with extra attention to details. Some curbs are being eliminated in favor of being closer to the real-world area. Benches and trash cans are slowly going to be added along with more palm trees. Here is a look at the one tile difference between the original and the new placement. I am doing this in sections as some buildings are piece-by-piece creations, and it is easier to move the custom scenery buildings and adjust the paths around those. Untouched will be the Carthay Circle Theater and The Hollywood Tower Hotel (naturally 😉). Surrounding areas will see improvements. Currently guests are flocking to One Man's Dream, a small stage show at the front of the park. A fun shot, yes there are in-game paths, but with recent news both the arch and Earffel Tower will be forgotten park symbols of the real Hollywood Studios. Soon the streets will be a bit slimmer. With that comes more room for growth and improvements to the overall park. It is a little painful to do these refurbishments, but it opens up ideas and methods of making those concepts real. I am excited to see the final product of the slimmer streets. Rock 'N Roller Coaster will retain its Aerosmith theme here in Dubai. I am looking into plans for a Muppet themed area reminiscent of the area that was in Florida. I have an idea for it, and it will potentially be me trying my hand at a new skill set. A classic shot to end the update. The future of Disney's Hollywood Studios is many blue-sky concepts to determine best methods of incorporating different IPs. One wish list item/attraction is under development and has been shared on a YouTube channel that is known for its custom attractions. The Great Movie Ride will make its way to Disney's Hollywood Studios at some point in the future, fingers crossed. From this, I expect more of the park to take shape around the Chinese Theater and potentially improve existing areas even more for this incorporation. The Chinese Theater has always been an item on my wish list and there have been teasers for years that have gone quiet. Any news is good news! I am looking into multiple IPs found at the different Disney studio-based parks. I am also looking at past attractions, some that are missed by many guests in the real world. Regardless, this park is a shining star in a nearly 21-year-old game.

Remembering old RCT3 fads from the "golden years"
Speaking for myself: I used to make a giant flat rounded raised terrain mesa for my Test Track ride buildings. Used the in-game automobile cars that were on a coaster track and launched them at max speed around the main turn. Dig my lakes all the way down to the maximum depth. Tower Of Terror would be the launched freefall. Mountain-based Disney attractions would use the mountain terrain. Spamming the same tree (or two), douglas fir and sugar pines were my go-to trees. In-game fountains (enough said). Max powered lasers (enough said).

Disney's Hollywood Studios at Disneyland Resort Dubai: October 15, 2025 Update & Ranting
Wow this project has been quiet. So, I did a check on if the old park file would open and work. Well, that test was a success. I started a new park file that did not get too far, so I may end up just continuing the old park file and keep the rework to the side and see how much I can really do with it. The rework was very similar to the new park file, but some sections I could not remember how I handled them in the old file. Expect more updates!

Sure sign me up- World of Discovery: 9 Years!
9 years! This project has gone on for 9 years! Time has flown by and this project has changed, even here on ParkCrafters. Below is one of the first images I took of this project. Looking back, I did not expect this project to get any attention at all. I had just remapped my screenshot keys and started sharing some random projects then World Of Discovery came to be after having this idea for years. I always liked doing Epcot-based parks, even though they were basically Epcot. I even saw posts recommending to not use such an Epcot-heavy theme for a park that wanted to be different. So, I decided to push that boundary and make it have an identity crisis. It has worked for 9 years and has shockingly won awards here on ParkCrafters that I am extremely grateful for. Being my first park project on the internet, it does have a special place in my RCT3 project library that keeps growing after nearly 21 years. Next year will be 10 years which is probably insane for a park project. I am excited for what I have cooking up. This park kickstarted my RCT3 projects and reputation. Thanks to the community for the continued support, probably a ranting/nostalgic post, but it has been 9 years!- World of Discovery: 9 Years!
This week a huge is the 9-year anniversary of World Of Discovery. Tomorrow will make 9 years since the announcement post on ShyGuysWorld that started out as an Epcot clone. Some said to take it a whole different route and not do an Epcot-based park. Well, 9 years later the park is still going and is continues to change as time passes. Currently, Discover Park is getting touch ups before its full reveal. Changes are being made to the paths and landscaping while finishing sections that were still being reworked from the previous configuration. This will then lead out to already existing sections of the park to have the front half upgraded to the latest building standards. World Exposition is taking a new identity as themes are being finalized to base the area around stories and genres that guests will love. World Of Discovery is here to stay and will continue to grow and change as it has in its nearly 9 year history.- What is your funniest theme park memory?
Hmmm this is tough. I have a lot of funny memories. One that I can think of is waiting in the Pirates Of The Caribbean attraction at the Magic Kingdom, a little girl kept saying "smells like doodie" in the queue. Her dad without hesitating said "that's called crop dusting sweetie." Forever quoted every time we visit that attraction.- Sorcery Pack (Basically Harry Potter pack)
Hey all, We should all be mature and constructive in our opinions. This is still a new game and the first DLC for it, there are going to be opinions that will differ from one another, but these can be presented in an open-minded perspective to avoid any issues. That being said, please be kind to one another. If anything escalates, action will be taken. We are all here sharing a similar interest in theme park games. Games are everchanging and we are all ready for the next big thing to share our ideas. It is great to see some discussion among familiar faces as well as new ones. If anyone has an issue with this, please reach out to myself or any members of the staff team. -Cody- Welcome to Wonderverse
- Sketchup RCT3 Utilities Extension Available On Extension Warehouse
I think we have an old version of sketchup on the site along with the necessary tools for creating the files for RCT3.- Sorcery Pack (Basically Harry Potter pack)
I think this pack will see a lot of Harry Potter areas start to be created. The flying theater will allow parks to have a simulator attraction. Overall, not a bad start in terms of the DLC list. I agree with some of the statements here on it being a side-step from attractions in PC1 while continuing to add and improve features seen in PC1 to this sequel. Interested to see what DLCs they have plan as it can get interesting.- Copper Creek (new video 10.3.25)
- Controversial Disney Opinions
How am I just seeing this? I am using that in my Hollywood Studios park. Cannot wait for the Great Movie Ride to be behind it with a version of the Chinese Theater. Fantasyland at WDW has been interesting. The concept art of the original refurbishment and branding as "New Fantasyland" was crazy because of how many small areas there was going to be. It then went to Beauty & The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Storybook Circus.- Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai: Cinderella Castle Paint Scheme Update
So, changing the colors in RCT3, I got used to the pink color scheme. Pictures do not do the real paint scheme justice; it needs to be seen in person. In 2020 I was in shock over how different it looked in-person versus photos. It was almost unreal. I am extremely happy to be getting the original colors back because it means someone somewhere is looking at fan feedback.
