Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...Wicked Rumbler! This woodie is the first coaster I made to have proper wooden supports with the use of the Wooden Supports Replacement mod and Moby's Pinewood Supports! I originally never wanted to create any sort of woodie with custom supports as I thought it would take an eternity to build all of the wooden beams. However, with the Wooden Supports Replacement mod it really wasn't that difficult. All I had to do was fabricate some custom side supports, and with the help of the premade scenery option I was able to save some premade designs and copy/paste that wherever I thought it would fit. Here's the end result! As you can see, the side support structures are quite intricate, and I did my best to make sure they align with the track: Here's a screenshot where you can see that just like a woodie in real life, the lower section of the track actually goes through some of the side supports creating lots of near miss moments. Now I didn't want the area around the coaster to be too empty so I made a small park. It's got some nice western building at the entrance, a central gathering place with a ferris wheel, benches and some shops as well as some other flat rides that surround the coaster. Here's a nice shot of the lift hill, which really shows just how many side support beams there are. And another cool shot if you ask me :) And here's a top down view of the layout! It actually took me a lot of tries before I finally found a layout that I deemed to be realistic enough while providing lots of flow and good stats.

Thanks! I would go crazy but thank god that the supports under the track are automatically changed due to a mod I downloaded, and the side supports I always make and then save as a premade design. Basically, I have a premade design for one of those side supports, then another design for two in a row, three in a row, etc. I just copy paste that based on what fits and in the end it actually takes a lot less time compared to making custom steel supports with Moby's Steel Jungle :)

Hey everyone! Here's a quick update on my dueling inverted coaster. So currently I decided to pause this project and allow myself some more time to try and come up with some more inspiration. It's going well so far, with lots of attention to detail. Enjoy the pictures! So what am I working on instead? Well recently I finally decided to try out Moby's Pinewood supports and try my hands on building some proper wooden side supports like you have in RCT2. Turns out it's actually quite doable! Here's a quick preview: Because of this and the lack of inspiration, I decided to pause the dueling coaster for now and see if I can make a proper woodie with those side supports so stay tuned for that!

Hey folks! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, but I have been working on a brand new project and building it bit by bit. This new project is quite ambitious, as I was inspired by Dueling Dragons to make my own dueling inverted coaster! Here's a quick teaser: As you can see the lay-out is pretty much done, and it was quite a challenge to make this all sync up and at the same time not be too janky in terms of the ride itself. Just like Dueling Dragons it has two loops right next to eachother which both trains go through pretty much at the same time. You might have noticed the black/white/brown theme, and that's because I'm going for an asian/oriental themeing for this ride. Here's a quick top view of the layout: To be continued!

Moby Pinewood Supports
One of my biggest gripes with woodies in RCT3 is how you weren't able to add some proper side supports like in RCT2. Now with this mod, you're actually able to do just that! Takes a while to get used to, but if you save some custom designs you can copy paste them to save yourself a lot of time. It absolutely transforms the look of woodies and makes them look 10 times better!

Had a bit of time today to work on the decoration and I decided to go with a tropical theme on this one. It's really nice to see that the stock tropical trees actually have a lot of smaller trees/foliage which really helps: And like every other coaster, everything's accompanied by Beastie's Path Mods and Shyguy's Planters for some nice fencing as well: Here's a nice before and after of a small pond I made in the middle of the coaster: And there ya go, hope you guys like the work so far!

Work continues on my brand new project!I've done most of the support work, which because I'm using the Blue Fire CT took a lot of time but I'm happy with the result. The lay-out is also going to be fast, intense but also very smooth if I say so myself. Here you can see a turnaround elemental with some very smooth transitions: The final part where the coaster goes a little bit below ground level. I'm thinking of building a small cave or something for some added thrills: Until the next update!

I'd say go for something radical, like pink track & black supports. Might sound crazy but here's an example on a lay down coaster I made and I think it looks pretty sweet:

It's done folks, here's my latest project: Apex! Apex, like stated before, is a racing launch coaster that focuses on speed, quick transitions and coious amounts of airtime. Step right up to race against your fellow competitor and experience one hell of ride! Here's a picture of the first few airtimes hills after the overbanked turns: A picture of the 90 degree banked turns, showing the side-by-side action with neck a neck racing! Here's a picture of the station, using black and white as colours to represent a checkered flag: Here's one more picture of the overbanked turns that I think look really nice: As with my previous projects, I always try to decorate the coasters with proper pathing, foliage and other rides. Here's a picture where you can see ome of the pathing, the gardens and a bit more of the other rides: Here's a picture with Apex in the background, and a quick mine train coaster I made to accompany the main attraction: And finally one more picture of another coaster I made just to fill up the area: And that's it for now! I will try to make a video of this coaster next week to show this project in greater detail. For now I thank you for checking out this project!

Time for another update! I had some time today and I worked a bit more on the pathing and the facilities for the peeps. The area right next to the launch is redone and it now has a proper food court with a bunch of benches where guests can sit and relax. All accompanied by pathing from Beastie's Path Mods: Right next to the fountain, where initially there was just some random pathing, I also redid this area to fit another small food court alongside an information kiosk and an umbrella stand: And behind the stalls, there's also a small area where guests can sit and watch the coaster roar by: That's it for today. I hope to have a bit more time the new few days to really make some good progress like finish up all the custom paths, fully decorate the kiddie coaster and start adding some foliage. Thanks as always for checking out my update!

Time for another update on Apex! As you can see below I'm making good progress and I've added a whole bunch of extra stuff to accompany the Giovanola racing coaster: Just like most of my projects, I love using Beastie's Path Mods which transform the stock paths into these beautiful flowy paths. In the beginning of the park I added this fountain as a center piece and because I'm taking my time and I'm not in a rush, I again started putting a lot of detail into the environment and scenery. The fountain is accompanied by walls, fences and flowers from ShyGuy as well as plenty of benches for guests to rest on: Now because I don't want my newest coaster to be just a single ride in the whole map I added a few flat rides and also a coaster or two, including this junior coaster which layout is done but still needs a lot of decoration: Also new to the center area is some changes to the pathing, so now there's a road right next to the launch where guests (Just like at Top Thrill 2) can chill and watch the coasters launch into those overbanked turns. I also added a spiral slide, a giant slide and I will also add a food court later on: On the other side of the coaster I added a pretty cool mine train coaster and I actually went a bit nuts with the scenery. These coasters are nothing more than just filler for the park so they don't need to be extremely detailed...but I couldn't resist to add some western themeing to this one! So There are some rocks, a bunch of foliage, a tunnel with fog particles and a few other things I want to add like a catwalk for the chain lift, a western-style Station and a few other things: A closer look at the turnaround element of the mine train coaster. Who knows I might talk about this coaster as well in my upcoming video cause the more I work on it, the more I love it :) And that's all for now, thank you for checking out my update and have yourself a wonderful day!

Hello again and welcome to my brand new project: Apex! Apex is a Giovanola racing coaster! A what now? Well Giovanola was the company behind Titan and Goliath in Six Flags, which boasted specs like a 255ft drop, amazing speeds and more. I called this a Giovanola racer, because the extended coaster track is just like those old Giovanola hyper coasters and the trains I chose are also the same type of trains that Giovanola used. Now that we got the name out of the way, let me talk about the project itself a bit. As you can see below, this layout will have two trains racing against eachother. They start off with a launch and they will race through overbanked turns, airtime hills, quick transitions and more. The layout itself required a lot of tweaking to make sure the two trains would be side by side during the whole ride as well as make sure they both finish more or less at the same time. Here's a quick close-up of the station and the trains; These are the specific Giovanola type trains that I mentioned before. As you can see I'm going for a classic red vs blue color scheme with a grey track which resembles the tarmac that you would see at a racetrack. That's all I got to show for now, just like Interstellar I'll make sure to fill up the surrounding area a bit with some extra rides so it doesn't look too out of place. Stay tuned for more!

Community Chat Discussion 8: Lets Talk RCT3!
Nice initiative! Is started RCT3 around the year of 2005 when I was 15. Before that I was already quite active with RCT1 and RCT2, with RCT2 being the version where I really started delving into some serious projects with fully decorated rides, giant parks with tons of scenery, etc. Makes me wish I still had those creations somewhere but they are long lost on old harddrives I got rid of many years ago. RCT3 for me however was the one that always stuck with me the most, mind you I actually never really bothered to do campaign mode. I don't know why, but I just can't get into it considering RCT3 is more complex in terms of park management. You not only have to mark territories properly of your staff, you also have to keep them happy which I just could never figure out. That and a bunch of other features and I just resided to playing nothing but sandbox mode, and being able to actually ride the rides was a huge breath of fresh air. Things really took off when in 2006, YouTube started becoming bigger and bigger. It was a really great source of inspiration, with many great creators of that time (Deathfearsnone, Leglaude6, ImagineerJohn and a whole bunch of others). Because of that, I decided to make my very own youtube channel called m00nkinftw and I this video was the very first video I uploaded to YouTube: I still remember how nervous I was uploading something for the whole internet to see, and after coming back from school I anxiously went to YouTube to see how my video was doing. It got 12 views lol. Such is the way of every new YouTuber who uploads their first video. Either way, I just kept making creations and uploading them to YouTube. One day I decided to work out a wacky idea where a roller coaster would be inside a whole bunch of colored boxes. This video ended up going viral, and to my suprise people started making their own 'The Box' creations, with well over 40 different creations so that was really really awesome to see. Another thing that was gaining traction in the RCT3 community was the so-called 'King of RCT3' contests. Basically everyone would submit their creation with a chance of being the #1, or basically the King of RCT3. These would be everywhere on YouTube and it was a super cool initiative, a place where fellow RCT3 creators could battle head to head to see who could make the best design in RCT3. My first entry was Chronos, a gigacoaster with huge drops and tons of speed. I had no idea how well I would do considering there were creators out there who I considered to be much better than me. Suprisingly, out of 86 entries I placed 7th which I was ecstatic about! From that moment on I thought to myself 'Hey, I might actually be able to place first if I really put my mind to it!' and I started honing my skills, using more custom scenery and also getting the two expansion sets so I could fiddle around with the Stormrunner and Extended Coaster. Of course winning one of those contests wasn't the only reason to get better at the game, I just realized more and more just how much you could do in RCT3 and how much custom scenery and mods could vastly enhance the game. So, with the next King of RCT3 contest I entried with an extended coaster called Cruiser. This one had much more custom scenery included and the overall environment and scenery was much better. I ended up placing 2nd in that King of RCT3 contest. Not bad at all if I may say so myself! After this several designs followed including a dueling stormrunner, an extended coaster with a unique Camelback Loop inversion and I also made a few tutorial videos on how to build stations and supports. My best 'old' creation, would have to be this though. This is a coaster made in RCT3, but the scenery is made in such a way that it looks like it's a model coaster (like the old K'nex Serpent coaster). Because of this interesting take, I was finally able to place first in a King of RCT3 contest. In 2010 I quit the game because of lack of motivation and it would take me 13 whole years before I would finally return to RCT3. Many other things happened in life but some time ago I just had the itch to play RCT3 again. Once I fired up the game I was overwhelmed with nostalgia, I mean that Summer Air soundtrack is just amazing if you ask me. I started out very simple but as time went on, I started to invest more and more effort into my coaster creations. And now here we are in 2024, with my RCT3 game having more mods and custom scenery than ever before and trying to push RCT3 to its absolute limit :) I know the RCT3 community is very small, but it's nice to see that there are other people besides me who really enjoy this game. It's very underrated in my opinion and for now I'm totally hooked with many more creations to come. So that's kind of my story, sorry for this wall of text but this game really means a lot to me as it has been part of my life for a very long time, it allowed me to go wild with my creativity/imagination and I met some really cool people along the way :)

Welcome to my latest creation: Interstellar! This is the first time in many, many years that I tried my hands on a night coaster. It was a lot of work trying to figure out proper lighting for the coaster and the surrounding rides. Here you can see just how much detail went into this ride. Small flower gardens, rocks, foliage, bushes, different textures, you name it! Another shot of some inversions, this once again highligts the extra lighting used as decoration. And here's an overview of the layout. Video with POV will be uploaded to YouTube very soon!
