  1. Okay, I'm stumped. Unless the files are corrupted, it should be fine. Try re-downloading the file, delete the files currently in your install, and re-install the files from the new download. (it should be a RAR file, not a ZIP file as you previously indicated) :^)
  2. Checking out the OVL files, I see that this should be the folder structure: Inside "Style\Themed" - "Cinipaes Iron Shark CSO" directory (the "Style- Themed" directory should not be here) Inside "TrackedRides" - "CTR_IronShark", "CTR_IronSharkFlat", & "TrackCTR_IronSharkCT" directories (the "Tracks- TrackedRides" directory should not be in here) The "Style- Themed" and "Tracks- TrackedRides" directories are for reference only, trying to tell the user which directory belongs where. Move the contents of these directories into their parent directories and delete them, then try building the ride again. Hope that helps. :^)
  3. Detail and LOD should not cause crashes if the game and CTR are installed correctly. Describe exactly how you installed the CTR. (what you put in which directories, etc.) That should help narrow down the issue. :^)

That would take WAY too long to catalog! :^Þ

    -40°F - 32 = -72 / 1.8 = -40°C Always show your work. ;^)
  7. I was into LEGOs when I was a young girl, but when I got to be a teenager they all got packed away until I could give them to my two boys. Eventually they were all claimed by my youngest son, who's now too old and busy to play with them as well... so they'll likely end up passed down to HIS kids someday. It's the cycle of LEGO life!
  8. I'll join in with the "What do you mean, when I was a kid?" crowd. (yes @Wabigbear, I'm calling you a crowd :^þ ) By the time RCT2 came out, I already had a kid of my own and a 2nd on the way. However, I will still endeavor to answer what I did when the games were new. For the most part, after replacing the music files with ones I had from the Disney parks, I just played the campaigns over and over. With the release of RCT3 and custom content, I went nuts downloading hundreds of new rides and CSOs... that I then used in the campaign scenarios. :^þ I'm nothing if not consistent. ;^)

No kidding! Is that a watermelon???
  10. The "CFH-Rides" folder needs to go in the "Custom" folder within the "Style" folder, not directly in the "Style" folder. If you don't have a "Custom" folder, you need to make one. Also make sure the "CFHJumper CSO" folder is in the "Themed" folder within the "Style" folder, not the "Custom" folder. Lastly, make sure the "Instalation.txt" file is NOT put in any of the folders. Hope this helps!
  11. I'm unsure if it can work on the Peep OVL files, but CTR Creator 1.0 can unpack MOD and XML data from some OVLs. After downloading, run the program and select "Tools". At the bottom left is the option "Recover lost MOD/XML data from Model.ovl". Select that, navigate to the OVL file containing Peep models, and see if it can unpack them. (unfortunately, I have no idea which OVL holds the Peep models... I've never looked) Hope this at least helps point you in the right direction! :^)
  12. I plan to actually open RCT3 sometime this year and play... maybe. (I haven't had a chance to even open the game in over 6 months... :^þ )
  13. Been away a bit, busy with RL stuff. Glad you were able to download the PDFs @Topy57! Let me know if you have any questions or issues.
  14. English translation: -------------------- How to create a catalog of packs. I currently have 160 packs in my game and some of them install objects anywhere in the game. So it is impossible for me to remember in detail what each pack contains. But what I wanted was to be able to quickly find a specific object. For example, if I want to find a particular lamp, all the lamps installed in my game appear so that I can make my choice. The solution? It is very simple: a catalog that is displayed on a tablet. It is very easy to create and use. All you need is a tablet, equipped with an image viewer that displays them classified by folders. Here is how it works: We open the application that displays all the categories that we have created (Themes, Materials, Objects, Vegetation, etc.) In each category, we have created subcategories. For example, in the "Materials" category, we have the subcategories: Windows, doors, blinds, walls, etc. For our example, let's imagine that we want to install a blind on a building: So we will click on the "Blinds" subcategory of the "Materials" category. And all the blinds that are in our game, regardless of where they are installed, will be gathered on the tablet screen. And for each blind, the name of the image will give us its location in the game. The 8-page brochure "how_to_create_a_catalog.pdf" explains in detail, and step by step, the creation of this catalog. In addition, it is not necessary to list all the packs we have at the beginning to use it. We are the ones who choose what our catalog will be. I hope my explanations will be clear and that this file will be useful to you. But if some need help or explanations, I am at your disposal. Have fun and good luck! May our common passion for RCT3 last for a long time.

    Gorgeous! Like a picture postcard!
  16. Having grown up in the high desert, I guess I'm used to "dreaming of a brown Christmas". It rarely snows here before mid-January, though it does get well below freezing most mornings. Even when it does finally getting around to snowing, we rarely get more than an inch or two. Three years ago was wild... we got 2 feet in 3 days of almost constant snowing! (that's about 3 times our usual annual precipitation) Of course, this year we got the typical Christmas Eve rain... for about 10 minutes. Now all the newbies are running around like chickens with their heads cut off saying, "IT'S A DROUGHT! WHERE'S THE SNOW?" SMH. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone!
  17. Been too busy getting ready for Christmas to see this sooner. (we're hosting the whole family this year... parents... my sister and her husband... my sister-in-law... both our grown boys... etc... I have a big family) As to my favorite holiday park experience, I don't really have one. We very rarely travel during the holidays since my extended family all live nearby and we're 500 miles from Anaheim. Back when the kids were little, we managed to get to DLA once and I really liked the Christmas Fantasy Parade... until the float of Goofy's Kitchen broke down right in front of us. We waited far longer than reasonable for it to resume and ended up hearing the audio loop for that segment about 45 times. It was freezing cold (43°F which for SoCal is almost record-breaking) with 100% humidity and a stiff breeze and we wanted to go, but after everyone else along the parade route did we didn't have the heart to just leave those poor CMs in the parade that kept right on dancing with a smile. (though thinking about it, their dancing was probably the only thing keeping them from going into hypothermia) To this day my SO and I can still recite all the lyrics to that section of the parade. It will haunt me for the rest of my days. :^þ As for movies, the original "Miracle on 34th Street" has to be number one. There are tons of others we watch every year, ("The Lemon Drop Kid", "White Christmas", "Christmas in Connecticut", etc.) but that ranks #1 by far. When it comes to music, I really love "An Old-fashioned Christmas" album by The Carpenters, but I also really love Manheim Steamroller, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, and a thousand others. We have a Christmas playlist that has over 500 songs and lasts more than a day without repeating a track, so we never tire of a song being overplayed. Right now I'm listening to Maynard Ferguson's, "A Concord Jazz Christmas" as we wind down to rest for tomorrow's festivities. Usually though, older is better. Silent Night makes me misty every time. Merry Christmas everyone at PC!
Kinda weird writing a review for a file I uploaded, but it's not actually my CTR, I'm just the one who put it on ParkCrafters. :^þ I love this CTR! I almost always use the Mk I that's shown in my profile banner and as the preview pic for this download. It's exceptionally well done. My main complaint, and the reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5, is that the trains hold so few passengers per car. Each could easily have fit 16 or more Peeps. This relates to my only other issue with the mod... the car interiors are extremely bare and minimalistic. If the interiors were as detailed as the exteriors, this would easily be my favorite CTR of all time.
  18. Had to watch it a 2nd time, just to catch all the action! Your attention to detail is astounding, as always. :^)
  19. Hope this helps! :^)
  20. I'm assuming here that this is a custom scenario that you downloaded from somewhere. It would be helpful if you let us know where you got the scenario. Did it come with instructions? More info needed to help. :^)
  21. I see what you mean, but honestly it looks fine! I know you're a stickler for details, but really it looks good!
