  1. Other people have also noted the problem with long queue wait times on Frontier Forum and Steam. Not sure if it's just a bug (it's happened before...) or Frontier just isn't supporting it (I suspect it's the first...). But I investigated and found a handful of items were posted by one creator on November 16th, so it worked up to then...

Yeah, Critter Encounter is a really nice idea for a little guest interaction before the main part of the zoo. Is that based on anything similar at the San Diego zoo?
  3. The Venice Beach mural is a great touch! All the restaurants and the gift shop look great, my favorite is also the Creamery

The droids are a great added detail...and love the exterior over the water...

  6. I had an item I ran through the TMTK Editor four days ago, seemed stuck in the queue, so I deleted and made a new version, three days later, and it's STLLL waiting in the queue. I last used the Editor a couple weeks ago without problems. I know the Editor has froze up previously months ago, but I'm not sure if Frontier will bother to fix it or they'll just let it die. Anyone else have recent problems (I know there's still a couple people making occasional TMTK items...) Of course Frontier doesn't answer posts or support tickets...

Well, okay...as long as you keep some comedy bits and cheesy special effects!

I'm really impressed at your skills making these videos...and you sense of humor that goes into them. Truthfully, I couldn't tell that many scenes were green-screened, they don't stand out as being made that way. And Wanda the rock star was amazingly well done!

The first questions we learned in grade school in the Northwest and the answer is B: Shoshone On the second question Merida was the main character and heroine, so it likely wouldn't be her. Jack Sparrow was a pirate...why would he wear a fur coat on a boat in the tropics? Jessica Rabbit would never have had her curves hid inside a coat, besides there were weasel bad guys in the film, having a coat made from their skins seems a little harsh for Disney. That leaves Elsa, who is misunderstood so could have originally had a bad streak, and she lives in a cold climate where weasels exist but aren't characters in the film, so I'm going with B: Elsa...now watch me be wrong on this one! LOL!
  10. The cover for the logo was a clever idea. I really like how the Rotor turned out too...now onto the 'new' stuff!

Oh my! Wanda 'tinkling the ivories' took on a whole new meaning...and not in a good way. That Dr. Hannah Lecter gal seems nice...
  12. Night shots are my favorite...they really enhance the ride I think.
  13. I knew a checkerboard pattern would show up somewhere! That is just so cool, the 'dog' window and interior are so well done! I like those bar stools as well...clever.
  14. Truthfully, it's just due to the scenery piece I used when first making a bridge there before I built anything else, it had the stone texture I wanted. Then later I then decided to widen it and just duplicated the bridge and slid the copy over. Being too lazy to delete those pieces, I'm claiming that the Imagineer's cleverly designed a stone bench running down the center to allow dozens of weary parks guests a spot to relax all at one time... I can't take credit for the buildings, most are Workshop finds, some I tweaked, some I recolored, some I left exactly as they were. The main problem was downloading a bunch of excellent structure, but then having to compare each and every one so that they were about the same scale. Many were scaled too large (which is always a problem in PC when they use 4m tall walls...), a few were too small, but there were many that were Goldilock's scale and just right. One of my favorite themes from the game too. Some of the signage I made should/could have been a little larger, but they work. I had to hunt down images of Disney characters from that era, which actually was a fun reminder of some of the films from years ago! The Geppetto's window is actually multiple pieces...a background image of the workshop, then Geppetto alpha figure and two different puppet alpha groupings. Viewing the park in-game the slight separation of the figures and distance from the background gives a slight 3D effect even through they certainly aren't 3D.
  15. I have one I can show now... It's a little hard to see the streets, so I highlighted them in yellow below. The red indicates where the Snow White walk-through path goes. In actuality the path across the bridge sould have lined up with the castle as the weenie at the end. But I had made the bridge first, then later placed the castle kinda centered in the corner, only after I had laid the rest of the path and placed structures did I notice it didn't line up the way it should have... At upper right is a back-stage area that serves this end of the park which is unfinished... As always, click on the image to enlarge it.
  16. As threatened, er...promised...we now will explore Fantasyland. Now there's a name that the Imagineers should be proud of - cleverly combining 'fantasy' and 'land'...better copyright that real quick before someone tries to copy it. There are three ways to access Fantasyland - one by the Mickey Mouse Park Railroad, or one crossing over a bridge from the Fort Wilderness area, and another by land from Old MacDonald's Farm... Over the bridge... Or by land...just don't wake the dragon... We'll take the second route, the dragon is old and needs his frequent naps. I've nicknamed him "citytrader" for that reason... A festive village awaits us past the portcullis... On the left is Wise Owl Books... Just past it is Lil' Jack Horner Pie Co....thumbs not included. A little further along on the right is Little John's Food Court... On the left is our first attraction - Prince John's Bumpy Thingy which is a Whip Ride (only because the Dodgem's was too big for that structure...) Then we come to a side street on the right, on the corner is My Lady's Gowns and upstairs is Alan A. Dale's Music Shop... Then Merlin's Magic Shop... There's another entrance on the backside of Little John's Food Court here... Mad Madame Mim's Charm School... Maid Marion's Bridal Shoppe... Next door is Robin Hood's Archery where the young at heart of all ages can shoot deadly arrows...hopefully at the target and not each other... Across from that is Sir Goofy's Buffet...with all it's mac & cheese and chicken fingers goodness. Sorry, hadn't set the clock to noon when I took this screenshot, which is why the sign is so washed out, much like the lettuce at the salad bar inside... On the other side of Maid Marian's Bridal Shoppe we'll find Geppetto's Toy Shop...in the background is the other entrance to Fantasyland across the bridge from Fort Wilderness... Somebody's conscience is by the front door... Geppetto and his boys having a good time... We'll pause here...(no applause necessary nor encouraged!) (The size of this park really plays havoc with the textures on my computer, even when turned up high. As you can see some of the in-game pieces drop down in quality while the TMTK stuff remains fairly nice...I have removed everything outside the actual park boundaries on this bench, but it's pretty much now finished - thankfully!)

Aha! The plot thickens! Who knew they had a camera in the men's room? Wanda certainly didn't or she'd in watching. Love the landscaping.
  19. Depends on where you live too. When I lived in the States, it used to be years ago that stores didn't put up Christmas decor until Thanksgiving. In fact the department store I worked at had a tradition where store employees could work the evening of Thanksgiving Day (back in the days when most stores were closed that day...) installing decorations, and they not only got paid for it, but also got to have Friday off. It was worth it working until 2-3 am to avoid Black Friday crowds. When I was a kid my Dad was a firm believer of timely Christmas displays..which for him meant no sooner than the week before Christmas...and that was a compromise with us kids. We used to drive up into the mountains to cut our own tree. One year we brought home a gorgeous 12 foot Noble Fir. Unfortunately we only had 8 foot ceilings... His solution was to cut off 2 feet from the bottom, and 2 feet from the middle, then nail the two halves back together... Here in Brazil there's no Thanksgiving Day to kick off the holiday season like it used to up north, nor any wide-spread Halloween celebrations as a speed bump, so July usually marks the arrival of the Christmas Panettone's to the grocery stores (where some will remain until after the arrival of the Easter version...I have no idea what's in them but they do, in fact, remain fresh...). Malls are decorated by the end of September. The Christmas tree at the entrance to our condominium went up last week, same with the lights on our building and the trees in the park across the street. My Gringo mind-set doesn't allow me to put up the trees (we have two because I buy too many damn Disney ornaments, and the artificial trees here are fairly small...) until after Thanksgiving is held in the States. I always cook a huge holiday meal one time a year for friends, a mix of Americans and Brazilians with American and Brazilian foods (turkey and ham and all the trimming along with rice and beans - because rice and beans are a requirement for EVERY meal). No candied carrots or sweet potatoes with marshmallows - mixing sweet and savory food in one meal is darn near sacrilege here! Lot's of salads and veggies, but I'm the only one who eats sage stuffing, so I make it for myself, long with the can of cranberries I bring back in my suitcase from our annual trip to the States, along with a few other things we can't find here. I make cheese logs and dips. Even though it's mid-summer here, I still bake pumpkin pie from scratch, make cookies (all that makes excellent reasons to point out how I slaved away in a hot kitchen so someone else really should volunteer to do the dishes...which sadly never works...), and we have freshly made tropical fruit salad with a big scoop of French Vanilla ice cream a little later on. And while we don't drink ourselves, there's always Caipirinha's available.

Impressive! The tower too... I'm surprised Wonder hasn't slapped a "Wonder Tower" label on it. Oh-oh...looks like Wanda's in for some heartbreak. Or perhaps that green-eyed monster called Jealousy will rear it's ugly head (not Disney's head...Wanda's. Disney's head wasn't/ isn't ugly, nor did he have green eyes...). Julian and Dr. Lector should be careful or Mr White might have another mystery to solve...or rather attempt to solve. And Disney's head is with Mr Wonder, is it not?

Love everything! The entrance building is perfection, LOVE the carousel and Himalaya pavilions. The older part of the Field House reminds me of the Armory they had back in my hometown. The Whip is gorgeous, as is it's logo (is that a TMTK item?). Beautiful screens - but I'd expect nothing less! LOL!

"Give a hoot - please don't toot!" Wanda is like a One-Man Band made up of only percussion instruments whenever she gets startled. Perhaps dropping a tablet of Beano or Gas-X (or both...) into her flask before filling it with 'water' might help? Considering the proof of her beverage choice make sure no one lights a match within 20 feet of her. Poor Ol' Joe...if Wanda thinks you 'creepy' consider how low her standards are...yikes! The reveal at the end was most impressive!

The first one I know for sure... C: Tunisia The second one I'll just go along with Cityrader and JB... D: They were all invented by women
  24. I love you logo, and it still looks fantastic with the new name! Glad you're back at this!
  25. I'm doubtful it would have lasted very long either. Maybe it was like Walt's original idea to have real animals on the Jungle Cruise (I think I read that somewhere...). Animals are messy - even the petting zoo variety, and do things little kids might not understand like dying or making new baby animals. Even JB might have been scratching his head. And crops grow, then get harvested and then have to be re-planted and wait for them to grow...so there'd be a lot of plain old dirt to look at. What fun. JB might scratch his head at that too... That and there's no elephants in this part of the park either.
