  1. Ok, it turns out that I figured out a workflow solution to my issue. Copy and pasting folders before executing the Python script. In addition, there might be "new" old modules that may be coming, but I can't guarantee that at all.
  2. After an annoying complication, I realized even with the Python script to aid in creating pop-up names, it may requires me to take some times. Not to mention the pain of naming props. Naming props within a single theme takes less than 2 mins by itself. But, when you consider other factors, it can take a lot of times even when the script automates some steps. So, I think I decided to release the project sooner than not. Incomplete yes. Not willing to take that much time when it has been a 5+ years long project. And with virtually no support at that.
  3. Ok, here's a weekly update: I have renamed Caves and Hills Theme into Caves & Hills (1/2) as they are both similar. In addition, all of the props under those themes has been named. In addition, I realized that you can write a Python script to list file names, and then export text files, so I can massively shorten workload of not just the icons, but also naming many props. I have just gotten started on writing Python script which opens up directory dialog, so I can select the location of .prd files, and then I can input strings, and then export strings as a text map files using the list of names found in the folder with .prd files. This will definitely speed things a lot. And because I can modify script, this will allow me to name props with ease.
  4. Modified executable file to my knowledge. But, I have no idea what the older rct3 community did, and there is bound to be people who still have working cd copy of the game. I raised this thread because of a recent reddit post where the original poster had a cd copy and isn't willing to buy from other source. So, this can be useful for that demographics. It's the distribution of original game contents that where they'll care. They wouldn't care if you still need the contents to play with it. Even if they went further (which opens them up to ridicule), if you have a legal copy and simply modifying it, that's all fine.

  6. Well, if you do have a copy, you will eventually as I will bundle this with no-cd executable as it is portable and yes, it plays on Win 10. I wish I can share the complete game even though very few of us left, but to be safe from copyright infrigement, I cannot do that.
  7. Ok, I taken screenshots of several themes props for preparation of applying scripts in the future. This will help me reduce the workload massively. So, my estimate for completion is few weeks at best, and few months at worse. I still have to take more screenshots of ~100 themes props. But yeah, I'm too confident in being able to complete this.
  8. Disclaimer: Not a RCT3 player. It seems that there are players who do have CD for RCT3, and game copy world is still up (I think). I used game copy world exe for both Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe and Ultimate Ride Disney Coaster for about a decade, and never had a issue with them and they run in Windows 10, and they remain portable. So, wondering if it still the case for RCT3 and it's the only way that's not taken down.
  9. As you can see, I finished the dock part of Neon Theme: That's good news because I'm getting closer and closer to completing this project. Could be few weeks or few months before release now.
  10. Looks like Neon Docks is to be done, and I'm done with improving Neon modules: That means the easy parts is coming. I don't know when I'll be this finished with this, but it's looking like this year might be the year I will released this.
  11. Posted a list of what I have now in my computer in the first post. Did a calculation of what I have in terms of existing or once existed modules: ~98.25% to ~98.60%. I found out there might be 6-8 modules missing. If you count in particles and sound, yeah 99% is reached. Here are some missing modules from my further research: 1. King Solomon Mines ICL 2. Lonely Goatherd ICL 3. Dark Ride Environment 4. Aztec Theme (?) [Note: Some of them are in Backdrops 2 Theme and X'Ian theme seems to be retextured Aztec, and Japan Theme is there] 5. Cage Environment by Layton 6. Norwegian Environment 7. The Grid III Environment 8. Terminator Environment 9. Alice's Horror Theme (?) (?) means doubt of its existence.
  12. Thank you. What I have now is what I could track down. It's up to JoeTomNJ of Youtube/CoasterCrazy to come here or CoasterCrazy as YouTube is not the proper platform as my messages disappear from time to time and he doesn't seem open to other platforms which I pointed to. He's literally the missing link to the remaining mods which is very few mods left. Like 6-10 mods which is ~1% remaining. So, it's going to take a miracle at this point. Maybe once I release the project when done, some one else or even he will reach out to me and give me the remaining modules.
  13. Now, down to 2 more neon themes to fix the icons up. So, about ~31 icons to go before the rapid speed up in restoration.
  14. I am here to announce that it will not happen because of complications from YouTube side of things. Automatically hiding comments for approval issues. I hate YouTube. Really. If it is to happen, he needs to come here or CoasterCrazy. Rant over. Still have about 99% of mods any way. So...

This contains every single tools that were used to mod Ultimate Ride games. The only exception are programs and needed extensions to export to .mx formats, but these can be found anyway. Programs that can be used to export to .mx 1. Zmodeler 1.07b 2. Milkshape with Ultimate Ride extensions
  15. This news may or may not be a nothing-burger, but I want to hope for the best, really. JoeTomNJ a former member of MTTM has replied to me via Youtube, and he said he may actually have some lost modules. If he does, that's big news because there's a real possibility of being able to restore the entire collection of modules that existed for Ultimate Ride games, including the forever lost mods that cannot be found on the web. Again, let's hope for the best, really.
