  1. YES! Please post your park; we love to see everything the community has to showcase! Welcome aboard!
  2. I love studio-themed parks! I could literally spend all day riding the backlot tour at Universal Studios Hollywood (save for a couple of features). What kind of attraction is "Lights Camera Action"?
  3. Without a doubt, Reese's are up there for me, too! You're absolutely right - a pumpkin-shaped peanut butter bar taste way better than a peanut butter cup! For me, I love fun size Snickers, Twix, and although less common, Rolos. Though I must admit, I don't have much of sweet tooth, so I'd much rather receive a trick than a treat!
  4. I've been feeling super invigorated with the new computer, now finally having the processing power to use Adobe's nicer editing softwares like Audition and Premiere Pro. This show has been in "produciton hell" for several years, and like the vehicle driven by Max in his namesake video game, it is my Magnum Opus. So without further adeu, may I formally reintroduce..... The soundtrack has been completely redone from the ground up, incorporating new storytelling elements from the video game and adding enhanced sound effects throughout. If you've got a capable sound system, turn this track up! Octane 23 PC.mp3 I haven't abandoned Bites O' Fyre at all, but I got the creative urge to redo this soundtrack and I didn't want to sit idly by while that bug was bitin'!

I think we need some water ride shots to cool off our well-burnt faces! 😆
  6. Every time I think I might be an alcoholic or feel like a lush because I like to embibe whenever the occassion strikes, all I have to do is remind myself that Jimmy Buffet built a retail and restaurant empire themed around Margaritas, and then I don't feel so bad. You did a great job getting that coaster to interact with the surround elements! Love that tribute to Mr. Buffet, too.
  7. Don't use the "Other Media" button. Here's a snip from Imgur - the "Direct Link" option outlined in green is what you want to copy/paste here into the post field: And here's the image after I paste the link directly into this post:
  8. I wish I knew how to design custom scenery, specifically mortars. I feel like I'd save so much time by creating my own laser and pyro mortars that would already have these angles built-in, making base aiming rapid! Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut it would probably end up taking 4x as long 😅 Thank you so much Wolfie! 💓 I wasn't going to re-watch it, but while I was deleting those blue lasers I had used to align the base aims, I somehow unassigned one from the mortar (right at 14:07 in the video). I had never done that before, and I was kinda shocked. I spent some time trying to replicate it (you can see me spend the next minute investigating the happening), but figured I'd just re-watch the playback afterwards. Looks like I just right-clicked slightly above the firework in the MixMaster.... I've yet to go back in-game and try it again, though.
  9. Thanks, JB! That's the section I attempted to focus on last night, and I thought I'd record that session's worth of work. Some things I noticed while reviewing the playback: Holy macaroni that pointer never stops fidgeting! It must be subconcious or something, but I cannot believe how wiggly it is. Also, this is pitiful progress for an hour spent in-game. No wonder these take forever....
  10. I'm sure I missed it somewhere along the way, but can you clarify what constitutes a "bench"? Is it a park file? Or just one part of the park within the park file? Or is it that the park itself is made up of different park files, but collectively they're all one large project?
  11. Thanks for your input, Wolfie! I always appreciate you chiming in on my meager progress. As for those rapid-fire comets, I wish I had either spaced them out one extra mortar per shot, or toned their color WAY down because they all turned into just one giant blob towards the end. Oh well, live and learn I guess. There isn't a whole lot of new progress after a few more hours in-game tonight, but I updated a couple of colors to be less vibrant and started to play with some FCR nonsense. I have a lot of work to do for the FCR-section and the last 10-15 seconds of the song hasn't even been touched. And I'll be honest: I have absolutely no game plan for how this looks when finished! I just wing it whenever I open up the game. I think that's why it takes FOREVER for me to work on these, even though they're less than 2 minutes long 😅

These aren't zoos - they're European botanical gardens! And beautiful ones at that!
  13. The nostalgia I have while looking at your Country Bear Jamboree reincarnation is so strong....really, really well done Wagi!
  14. I know Silvarret isn't a member here at Park Crafters (boo on him), but here's his early-access gameplay!
  15. Thanks for dropping by and sharing your scenario! While I don't play PlanCo myself, I really enjoyed going through your Steam Gallery. Especially love those sunset shots of the lake. As for posting pictures here on Park Crafters, you can absolutely do that pretty easily! Just attach your pictures to the bottom of the post field here: Then insert them anywhere into the post itself and voila!
  16. SPANKS, JARON! Ok I know this show was supposed to have super drab and bland color palettes, but I inadvertently made some rather pretty swatches here and I'm a little mad about it... Still lots to do! Hoping to have this knocked out by late September so I can crank out Bite O' Spook in time for Halloween 👻
  17. I don't do any aggressive gaming, but all of the softwares I was using (Photoshop, Movie Studio, RCT3) would take a really long time to load. Now, there are little to no load times. They just open!
  18. Have it sitting on a cooling fan since I read these GPUs run hot. This is also my workstation for my various tinkering projects so I have a pegboard wall behind the desk with all of my tools. The power brick on this thing is enormous. It alone weighs as much as the old laptop!
  19. After a month, the new laptop is here! I was coming from an Acer Aspire with 8GB RAM and an NVIDIA 940MX, but now: HP Omen 17t Intel Core i9-13900HX 32GB RAM NIVIDIA RTX 4090 2TB SSD 2560x1440p 240hz screen
  20. SO MUCH DETAIL!! And I mean stuff we'd never see if you weren't recording your building progress...can't even fathom how detailed the actual Zoo will be! What's your piece count at right now?
  21. Living just down the street from KBF, I can confidently say you have captured the Ghost Town "store" aesthetic incredibly well in those shots of the storefronts, in particular the area of the park leading towards Ghostrider's station. Mr. Moose's Gift Emporium feels like you plucked it right off that trail!
  22. (Can you really call something a "tribute" if you haven't seen the film you're attributing?) Donnie Darko is a very dark and somewhat disturbing movie - it's been a long time since I've seen it, but this particular track does a great job capturing the vibe and energy of the film. Some things I really enjoyed from your show: The way the show opens with the teeny tiny fireflies showering the set from above is really fun. The fountains that shoot off from the top of the towes at 0:42 look like lasers, which is really neat! Using an effect outside of its intended purpose gives it new life. It's also great to see you playing around with lasers more. Sync timing seems to be a bit of a struggle. Those loud clashes in the track are missed by like a half-second with some of your larger shells and LEDs, but this might just have been a post-production issue. It's kinda funny how your last couple of shows were LOUD LOUD LOUD all the time, and you've done a complete 180 with this one that is almost entirely dark, low ambiance. I'm a fan! Also fun to see you churn this out in a relatively short time - we only just saw your set photos on Discord last week!

I love the lighting in those night shots. This game makes it all look so real in the evening! The wheelchair lift for the Gondola station is a wonderful and inclusive touch that looks a lot more neat than a ramp.
  24. Thank you very much, boys! I'm a wee bit cornfuzed here....where do you see Twig dancing? 😂
