Here is another view of the far side of the India area...looking back across the river to the area that was already completed. This is basically the pathway to get to the boat station that is in the entrance to the caverns. This is the queue and station for the boat launch. This entire are will be enclosed with a temple-like structure so that the station will actually be within the caverns.

Here is the main layout of the Greek 'battle' Coaster. I'm calling it Zeus's Thunderbolt. It is a launch coaster with I believe has 4 launch sequences to get through the whole ride. The far left side of the coaster is where it will interact with the other two coasters and battle it out for that piece of land.

Trivia Bowl
OK - I'm going to share some of the questions from the trivia game I run. It will not be all of them, but I will post when I remember to do it. (and I almost always have openings in my real game for new players, so let me know if you are ever interested in joining the live game or want to know more about it.) No cheating looking up the answers!!!! Q1: Topic is Technology In the classic game Oregon Trail...you could choose to be a carpenter, farmer, or what other profession? A: Grocer B: Banker C: Teacher D: Blacksmith I will post the correct answer in the next couple of days.

Jumping across the river from the parts of India we have already been looking at...I have a small island and then a 'back' part of this land that needs to be detailed as another boat station is back here in the entrance to the caverns under the temple (also where the coaster resides). Here are a couple pics of this area before much work is completed (left side and foreground). The right side and background are the India area we have already looked at (but they are also unfinished in these pics). Sorry for any confusion on the layout....I will do a video walking around and explaining everything better later.

Garden of the Gods - a PC2 park
Starting to build out the terrain for Mt Olympus on the Greek side of the park. I will not be going to high as we don't want to make guests climb up so high. I will have the coaster station on the top as well a few other items. I may also add a transport ride of some sort to aid in guests getting up and down the hill.

here is what the park map is looking like with the water added. Still need to move terrain around and figure all that out. BTW the coasters are just blueprint place holders to draw guests into the park for now. they will not be the final coasters or placement.

Community Chat Discussion 10: Holidays
What is your favorite holiday event/overlay/entertainment offering that has been at a theme park? Well, I have to say I really like the feel of the Studios as they are the 'most' decorated IMO. Old days past, it would have been Osborne Lights. What is your favorite holiday movie? Song? I never stop laughing at Christmas Vacation.

- What other hobbies to you have?
So another hobby/pastime I spent a lot of my life with is running a trivia game. I have been doing this for like 20 years or so now. Its all played for fun and managed through email. I have tried to move it to more of a website based set up a few times, but it has never panned out the way I wanted it. There are abut 54 players in the game right now. Actually, I have a couple openings right now if anyone is interested in officially joining the game. If you are interested...Pop me a note and I can get you set up. Anyway, its a multi choice question (usually) and an email goes out about every 4 days or so with 2 questions. Players have about 4 days to answer those questions. We are fully on the honor system as it all for fun and bragging rights only, but I usually do send out awards at the end of each season. No researching, I ask that all players answer with what they know in their head as if they were in front of cameras and judges. Over all these years it has gone pretty well. Each game is 16 questions (usually with a bonus question), each season is 16 games. BTW each game is usually about a specific topic, like Geography, TV, Movies, etc. There are playoff rounds as well with the top players going head to head in the Trivia Bowl at the end of each season. I also keep track of the results in a huge spread sheet...yes I'm obsessed. Here is a taste of my questions. These are the two Current questions out there for players to answer. Technology is the topic: Around 1982 we first heard this new word for an amazing new technology… A: Camcorder B: Internet C: Email D: Cell Phone When was the first telephone installed in the White House? A: 1877 B: 1898 C: 1911 D: 1924- Garden of the Gods - a PC2 park
I will have in progress photos and video as I go along as much as I can. I have a bunch of real life going on right now so finding play time is a bit scarce so taking way longer than I want.- Garden of the Gods - a PC2 park
We'll see how it turns out. I plan on having smoke, water, fire exploding in the battle area. I have the general main coasters laid out and built, but doing all the fine tuning and smoothing and its taking me forever. I always want it to be too perfect, so I may have to dial back the perfection else I will never get to theming them.- Renee Feu Adventure Park

What will the rest of this park look like? Well here is a high level plan for rides. - The white lines are the existing entry plaza branches that we have already looked at in more detail. - The lighter blue area are planned lakes, ponds and rivers, but these will be modified as items start to get added. - The pink squares and circles will be flat rides, again subject to placement as paths and scenery get added. - The yellow lines will be two dueling coasters of sorts where the Greek and the Roman gods will battle in the middle at the back of the park. I may even add a yellow coaster from the Norse god into the mix coming up from the center of the park. - The purple square on the far right will be Mt. Olympus and hold the coaster station and other stuff...maybe even an indoor dark ride. - The other purple box will also be a dark ride of some sort. - The green lines in the right/center will be some other type of dueling coasters between a Norse and Greek god. - The red lines are a planned dueling water ride/water coaster where the Roman and the Norse gods will be at odds. - Each area will also have a small coaster if I can squeeze it in themed to that area...like the blue lines in the Roman area. - also plan on having some transport rides to help guests get around faster as well, but those are not in this plan. - Also not on the plan are shops and restaurants as I will figure those out as I build.- Brookfield Zoo
