  1. I wanted to chime in here and share a few thoughts on the discussion so far. ParkCrafters has always been built on the idea of open conversation - a place where anyone can share their thoughts, feedback, or ideas. We try to keep things more relaxed and laid-back than some of the more “official” communities out there (I’m sure many of you remember the Frontier Forums). That said, with open discussion comes the responsibility to keep things constructive. Everyone’s opinions are valid, and criticism is always welcome - but it needs to be shared in a respectful and mature way. I can only echo what others have said on here - repeated negativity or hostility doesn’t help get a point across and takes away from the collaborative, creative environment we’ve worked hard to foster here. At the end of the day, our goal is for ParkCrafters to be a space where people feel comfortable sharing their passion, creativity, and projects, while also being able to disagree and debate in a respectful manner. As long as we keep this mindset, this community will continue to be a welcoming and enjoyable place for everyone. I'm sorry to see you want to leave this game and community, but if you feel the need to step away, please know the door is always open for you to come back. However, if you do decide to come back, please keep what has been said here in mind and be a bit more respectful towards others. If you'd like to remove your account, you are free to do so by going to Account Settings > Security and Privacy > Request Account Deletion.
  2. That sounds awesome! Thanks so much for taking the time to bring some of the older RCT3 tools to a more modern age. We have an older version of Sketchup uploaded on here so it works with the older plugins but it's very nice to know that now these tools can work with the more modern versions of Sketchup. Is it possible to upload those up to date plugins on here to let users know that they are also an option?
  3. Sorcery Pack announced for Planet Coaster 2, coming September 16th:
  4. For all those interested in viewing the trailer, here it is:
  5. - Set Reveal - Credit to @ShadowDragons for the awesome set! Progress is continuing smoothly on the project, currently in the laser work phase of choreography! It's looking pretty spicy and funky so far 😏 More updates to come soon!
  6. I can see what Shy is saying; some of the buildings may need to be reworked to look more like 'storefronts' rather than multiple-room apartment-style buildings. Maybe choose like 2 - 4 facades and rework the smaller details on the front to look more like stores and shops? For sure, keep the overall building structure and depth; it's working very well in your favor.
  7. I, too, have watched this area grow over time, and the end result is beautiful - it's nicely detailed, has depth to it, and complements its inspiration area very well. Glad you were open to feedback, the final result is gorgeous, and I'm excited to see future areas in this park!
  8. Yep, saw this coming.. with the closing of the forums over there and with JW3 coming out, they've entirely shifted focus to JW3 and will release smaller quality of life updates less frequently for PlanCo2. Why give your audience a monthly platform or forum to hear complaints? So they shifted everything to their Discord and YouTube, where it's harder to read those comments and easier to release smaller, more long-awaited updates.
  9. Welcome to ParkCrafters! I remember you by the name of RCTD back on the Creators' Lounge as well! Glad to see you've found us, and I look forward to your projects!
  10. Welcome to ParkCrafters! We're glad you found us, too! 😆
  11. I legitimately thought that first overland photo in the first post was an actual real photo you were using as reference, I had to look twice and realize it was PlanCo 2 😅 This is absolutely gorgeous, I can definitely see the inspiration here from Universal and Disney, I think the Gondlheim area is my favorite - love what you did with the stonework! This is a phenomenal project, thanks so much for sharing!
  12. A strong show, I have to agree with Cody - this is probably one of your best shows to date! I think the star of the show for this was easily your aerial choreography. I normally struggle to try and fill the sky with effects during the entirety of a show, but it seems to come very naturally to you. I do feel the ground choreography was a bit ignored and would have loved to see the same attention to the ground that you did to the sky - a few parts felt empty, but given how fast you pumped out this 9+ minute show, it is very impressive. However, the main focus was the lighting, after all, it is called Last Light, and it was very solid. You had some cool moments with lasers (I liked the alternating flashing lasers on the centerpiece during a heavy percussion part). I would have personally liked to see a bit more diversity and movement with the lasers, but overall, it was solid. The set itself is pretty good as well! Overall, a well-executed show, and I think it's your best to date! I think a bit more time in the oven would have helped, but that could just be me being a perfectionist 😅 I really do hope you continue going down this path of "pyro movies"; they are very cool to see, and I very much miss these types of shows from the vPyro days. Congrats on another completed project!
