Unnamed and Unplanned
4 pointsHey folks! Big update on this one. I high-key locked in on this park over the past few days (which really means that I became a hermit and didn't talk to anyone), so let's dive in. First up, I built a train station and began filling the dead space leading up to it. The station isn't of much use right now since the train isn't a circuit yet, but it's nice to have the building there. What's been more interesting is rest of the space leading up to the station. I've used this opportunity to finally play around with the new Restaurants, and man oh man do I love these suckers. We're gonna get a lot more of these before we're done with this park, I've really fallen in love with them. This one has indoor and outdoor seating, and the back patio is right in the nook of the railroad, so you can get a good look at the train as it passes by. Just up the path, there was a small corner empty and in need of something. I didn't really have a good use for the space, so I began a small nature trail of sorts. It has some benches and a few large boulders to help seclude it from the rest of the park. I think this is going to continue on the other side, but I'm not sure yet. Time will tell. Next up, over by the wooden coaster, I've added another restaurant! Now that I've learned some things from the first one, I was able to plan this one a little more, and I think it came out really great. Making good use of the path stamps, we have an octagonal balcony where most of the seating is overlooking the wooden coaster as it zips by. Oughta make for some entertaining meals! I've also started playing with lighting! You'll for sure have noticed the street lamps in these photos, and I'm slowly making my way around the park to light up each attraction and building. For the most part, this is being done with scenery lighting, but this is also being accomplished with strategically placed spotlights that get hidden in a variety of manners: rooftops, overhangs, in rocks, on supports, etc. All the tricks are being used here. This is still very much a WIP, so feel free to give any tips you have. That's all for now! Next time we'll have to talk about this big green box... 😉 - StickyGum324 points

Hello! Not sure if y'all remember me...
Hi everyone! Not sure if y'all remember me but I am MGL from the vPyro and creator's lounge days. It's been so many years since I've touched RCT3 but I just came across this community and I'm so happy that it's still going strong! I remember doing firework and fountain shows and it was a huge part of my life when I was still in school. Nowadays, I do music production (specifically trance) for fun but I still have this urge to maybe return to my old roots of making firework shows again. I just have to go back and remember how to do custom sets again. Also, Every time I hear a piece of music I still imagine a firework and fountain show dancing to it in my head lol. Here is my firework youtube channel where I would upload all my shows. So many memories making these. https://www.youtube.com/@Mgl5673 points

3 pointsThe First Aid Center sign has been changed from a free-standing one to this more permanent one. More artwork hanging on the hallway walls. The examination room Down the hall is a small restroom. I've made so many of these, I'm considering changing the park's name to Toilet World. Backstage area behind the First Aid Center/Sandwich Port building. In case any guest is badly injured, an ambulance is available to rush them to the hospital. But nothing like that would ever happen to a guest at a Wonder park.3 points

2 pointsWhat it looks like when you can't leave things alone... The RCT3 version of the park had a pretty standard midway in the center. There wasn't much of a theme to it. In this version I changed it up and call it the Midcentury Midway. This originally was a little side project where I was making small fast food joints, but it fit in so well I gave it purpose on the midway. I will stop here, because that is something completely different.2 points

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
For Mickey Mouse Park I created 95 TMTK items. Those are now set to public if anyone has a desire to download something. As always I create items for my use first, so some have large file sizes, some large texture file sizes, many are imperfect. But if anyone finds a use for even one of them they are welcome to them. A few have textures set to LIT, a few are only one-sided, a few have multiple versions, there is even a couple that I never used in the park, but they were made so I included them... These are under my name in the Workshop, and all have the prefix of MM-...2 points

Disneyland Park at Disneyland Resort Dubai: Town Square Theater Sneak Peek
As announced yesterday, Main Street is under a major rework project. To coincide with this, here is a partial reveal of a completed section. Many tests to determine path width, path color, and location of details took place. Town Square is currently under heavy refurbishment to get the details of the Town Square Theater and surrounding areas prepared. The intention is to work the front half of Main Street first and then keep progressing further to reach the castle. From there, the existing design of Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland will be evaluated and more than likely be reworked to reach the same level of detail. Main Street is going to set a new standard of park crafting in my recent projects and aligns with the park getting older by the day (along with the game itself).2 points

Yes. Currently you can set the weather type you want in Sandbox mode. I assume that will be the same for snow and thunderstorms. Well, I'm very impressed by this new update. Lots of things being added that I expect were planned, but put off for the premature release. These are almost ALL the things I was hoping to get for the winter update. The only thing missing is the snowy biome, but that could be coming, but not yet revealed. It also looks like I'll be replacing the heat lamps once again in my Wonder World restaurants. 🙄2 points

Planet Coaster 2 Official News & Updates
If you look carefully at the last segment of the video, there are plenty of new objects...all toy related. Looking through the windows, you can see what looks like a parachute drop, possibly like the one in Toy Story Land at the overseas Disney parks. Lots of requests for kid's attractions, so this looks like that's the route they're going for the new DLC.1 point

As of this weekend, Main Street will be seeing a much larger rework than anticipated. This rework involves adding more details, reworking path covers, and other elements to improve the area. I am excited to share the changes here soon, those who saw livestreams taken within the park were able to see the refurbishment go into full overdrive.1 point

Unnamed and Unplanned
1 pointHey everyone! Life has kept me a little busy (I'm about to go back out on the ocean again soon), but I've got a small update for you here. This is a simple but necessary update in my opinion. No huge changes per se, but changes that are definitely helping to tidy up some loose ends in the park. First and foremost, we have a new flat: a Ferris Wheel. It's tucked over by the wing coaster, and provides an excellent view of the area from the tree tops. I also redesigned the station for the wooden coaster, which has resulted in a better design overall, and a slightly smaller queue line (so less peeps are held up waiting on the ride instead of enjoying other offerings). Finally, I've started planning a train route. I do love having a train as a transit means for the park, and this one weaves around and through the mountain that houses the rapids and mine train. It's also given me the opportunity to take a section of the rapids and turn it into a canyon river, which came out looking really nice! More to come soon! - StickyGum321 point

Animal World
1 pointYes. Both the San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park have a small stage near the front of each park that (used to) showcase their "animal ambassadors"...animals trained to be comfortable with being up close to guests. Although recently, neither one has been utilized for that purpose. The zoo's stage is now used for musical presentations during holiday periods, and I haven't seen anything go on at the one at the Safari Park the last few times I've visited.1 point
