This park started way back in RCT3 as a project in which Mr. Wonder chose an SGW's member's park to remodel, i.e. "Wonderfy". The original park was Laguna Beach, and I never quite finished it. I began to re-imagine it in Planco, as Wonder Beach Boardwalk, but barely got anywhere. So now, it will become one of the parks in the Worlds of Wonder Resort. Let's see how far I get this time...

Oh wow, does this bring back memories! I remember when Mr. Wonder was selecting which park he was going to remodel... I remember he was nothing but respectful. 😉 It's a shame we can't move maps from PC1 to PC2.

Construction is in full swing at Wonder Beach Boardwalk. This is slated to be the first park to open.

Lot's of little details are being added to the entrance plaza, most of which no one would notice but me.

The Stroller and Wheelchair Rentals will have single strollers, double strollers, wheelchairs, and electric vehicles for rent. While the park won't be open for several months, Mr. Wonder has employee training already started. I feel sorry for them.

Next door are Guest Services and First Aid. The First Aid center has been fully fleshed out in this version of the park.

You are greeted with a small waiting area as you enter the First Aid building. A water dispenser and magazines are supplied for guests as they wait for service.

The office will be staffed with friendly on-site nurses who can offer simple aids like bandages and aspirin. They have refrigerators to store medicine like insulin, and a cabinet full of pharmaceutical aids for guests in need. (The pictures and paintings on the walls will most likely be changed in the future)

In the back are cots for guests to lie down and rest if they feel the need. It's great for those who overdue things on hot, summer days.

For more serious issues, there is an examination area where guests can be thoroughly examined in case of more serious injuries or illnesses.

Coffee is on hand for both employees and guests, along with a small bathroom. (I just realized the sign says "toilets," but there is, in fact, only one. I'll have to change that.)

Whoops. Didn't mean to walk in on Mr. Perkins.

Btw, there are six TMTK items I designed for the First Aid center, most of which are in the bathroom.

Nice Shy! I myself have never done interiors, but you pull these off nicely. The boardwalk between the buildings and almost through one is a nice touch. Great work!

I really enjoy doing interiors. I think they make the park seem so much more realistic. But doing interiors probably increases the time it takes to create anything at least 5x longer than just having the buildings being empty facades. So you really need a massive amount of time to build something with this much detail...and a powerful pc.

Oh definitely. I have a laptop thats about 3 years old that I bought refurbished and it only has an integrated graphics card. I will have to get at least a gaming one or a tower. Eventually once Im burnt out on RCT3 Ill most likely get into PC1. Not sure if my computer can even handle PC2. Plus for my Elitch Gardens re-creation I will have to do interiors for some buildings, such as 4 main street buildings and the food court. Thats about it, lol Just keep some doors closed and have the peeps stroll on through glass, haha!

I also have a secret project that is being overlooked by Cody.

If you do get to a point that you are ready to play Planet Coaster, Planet Coaster 2 may be the better choice. I've upgraded my pc twice since I originally got the first Planet Coaster, and big parks still run slow as molasses on my new lightning fast rig. PC1 is so poorly optimized, as they used DirectX 11. PC2 uses DirectX 12 and benefits greatly from that. The jury is still out how well it handles large parks. And Frontier is still adding things, so who knows how it will compare to the first game once all features are in place. But there are so many things that are vastly improved over the first game, I can't see myself ever going back once I've finished the parks I began in that game.

You did not have to go this hard on the interior (but I'm glad you did!) I wonder... how much does Mr/ Wonder charge for Insulin?

Next, changes have been made to Cafe Al Fresco, the outdoor, waitress service restaurant. In this old photo, the tables and chairs were made out of art shapes and other objects.

New, TMTK tables and chairs have replaced them (not mine). Also added are the shade covers above, also TMTK items (mine). I think that's Wanda sitting alone at one of the tables, being recently released from Miss Hathaway's House for Drunken Hussies.

The Cafe Al Fresco menu is displayed at the entrance.

Night time.

Love the light & shadow created by the shade covers. I see Wanda wasted no time in getting wasted. She's got a couple of full pitchers and numerous bottles of beer to keep her happy. All she's lacking is a cute young waiter to attend to all her dining needs. ;-) I like the soft nighttime lighting in the next-to-last image.

Looks like she's been sitting there all day...perhaps thinking once darkness comes her changes - while exceedingly slim - might still go up...

She'd probably have a much better chance if she's come on a day the park was open.

And now, another spectacular addition to Wonder Beach Boardwalk... the restrooms!!!

Interior pics coming next...

Wow, one could eat off the floor in this restroom! Although, one would have to be seriously ill to do so. I guess this facility acts like the other in-game restrooms? Do peeps just enter, stand around for a few seconds, and then leave? (Like they do in RCT3.) I like the color scheme.

Now them's purty bathrooms!

Is there going to be a family one with changing tables too? I assume ankle-biters are allowed in the park...

Changing tables have been added to the restrooms. There's no room for a family one in this building, but there could be one in a future facility.

Mr. Perkins has no idea what that is.

The restrooms in PC are very similar to those in RCT3. They are basically just a box that the peeps disappear into. I have one hidden behind the employee door, so peeps should enter these faux restrooms and then use the "real" restroom. Unfortunately, there is no way to designate them to be for men or women, so all restrooms in PC are technically family restrooms.

No need to now that the changing table has been installed...saves your knees from having to get down to floor level too!
