I can't remember what years Taft was president, but it seems like it would've been around the time of the first modern Olympics. So I'll say D: William Taft

Better double check this question, Wowman.

Reagan was the first president to attend the Summer Olympic games in 1984, but FDR as governor of New York opened the Lake Placid games in 1932, then was elected president nine months later. So technically, he was the first president, (although you did mention sitting, so never mind!!!)

Oh yeah, Taft (1909-1913) wore a gray suit with a waistcoat! Come to think of it, he ALWAYS wore a gray coat with a waistcoat!!! 🤣

Remember, history and civics teacher here!

Do we really know if they were all gray, or was it because there was no color photography yet?

Yeah, no pinstripes for Taft! 😆 He was a wee bit on the stout size!

Besides, as Wagi will probably remind us, I knew him personally! You know, being older than dirt and all!

Who holds the record for the most points scored in a pro basketball game by a single player?

A: Wilt Chamberlin

B: Michael Jordan

C: Larry Bird

D: Jerry West

Questions 69: (Science)

How many active volcanoes are there in the U.S.?

A: 48

B: 102

C: 169

D: 219

While I'm not a huge NBA fan, I know that record was held by A: Wilt Chamberlin and I don't recall hearing of anyone breaking it.

Growing in the shadow of volcanoes I know 219 is too high and 48 is way too low, so between the last two I'll go with C: 169

It's "Let's make a fool of JB" time again. Come on down!

I'm gonna disagree with Wagi [GASP!] and say B: Michael Jordan for the first one. And A: 48 volcanoes for the second one. (My math: ~20 for Hawaii, ~20 for Alaska, and the rest divvied up amongst Washington, Oregon, and California.) Oh wait, there's that big one in Yellowstone too!
