March 2Mar 2 Author Caution: The moving walkway is endingThis is one of the familiar sounds' guests will hear when they finally reach a deciding point. Universal Studios Park or Universal's Adventureverse. Starting May 16th, 2025, guests will be able to visit Universal Studios Park. There will be many experiences for guests to experience, and I am excited to show you the current progress in some of the areas that will be guest accessible. Starting off with our lagoon.Currently the lagoon houses one of our show barges for Universal Studios Park. @SJR95 sent these over to the property and there are currently 4 on-site, with the one being prepped for opening ceremonies that will be open to the general public. The other 3 are in the lagoon at Universal Studios Park and will be used for nighttime shows and nightlife.Approaching the entrance to Universal Studios Park, guests are greeted by the globe and arch that has been found in most of the Universal Studios destinations around the globe. The park is very similar to Universal Studios Florida in its layout but will have a few differences when it comes to placement of attractions and experiences as some will make their way over to Universal's Adventureverse. The first stop however, besides security, will be the will-call windows. Guests can also purchase and link their tickets on the mobile app, but for certain occasions, physical ticket pickup will be required. Currently there are multi-day tickets available and annual passes will be available at a later date once both parks are operational.Again, similar to the layout in Florida, there are two vacant studio soundstages at the front of the park near Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. Strong contenders for the two buildings are some shows showcasing special effects and operations to produce films. They do vary in size slightly, but are capable of having high-capacity experiences to help distribute guests. This studio building is the largest of the two at the front of the park. Another vacancy. The main star of the skyline at Universal Studios Park is Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. A close of the one in Florida, this attraction will be popular without a doubt to guests visiting Universal Studios Resort Dubai. Infront of the entrance and exit of the attraction will be a park-like area for guests who do not wish to experience this attraction to rest and watch their party rock their way through many thrilling elements.Lastly, Twister- Ride It Out will be returning to a Universal Studios theme park. This experience is the same as the one that was found in Universal Studios Florida and will continue its long legacy of flying cows and tornadic experiences. This section of the park is the most complete. Diagon Alley is in its beginning phases with its main attraction being complete, minus the necessary extended queue. Back To The Future: The Ride will be the main attraction of Expo 3000, a thrilling indoor launch coaster using a spaghetti bowl layout. Once those areas are further in development, expect another preview by us here at Universal. May 16th is a phased opening of the park, so experiences are bound to change during your visit. There are more experiences in the works and we hope you are ready to experience the movies!

This summer is going to be epic!
April 6Apr 6 Author Welcome to Universal Studios Resort Dubai!Something we will soon hear when the first park of the two begins its phased openings next month. Universal Creative is hard at work modifying plans to have many experiences at Universal Studios Park and Universal's Adventureverse. Creating this RCT3 destination has been a fun process, and each update brings a new milestone. Much of the latest progress involves the park entrance to Universal Studios Park and surrounding areas such as the pathway to a rumored resort. The large barge still remains in the lagoon. More than likely it will be removed post-opening as the in-park lagoon already has 3 barges and a number of mortars surrounding them. Recently, more foliage has been added to help better conceal the park from the entrance of the property. The park itself is still lacking foliage as more areas are being thought up to get rid of the empty feeling that it currently has. In progress are Expo 2025, Diagon Alley, and the main entrance area that features Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. Expo 2025 will be the location of the first Back To The Future roller coaster and is rumored to include Transformers: The Ride. Diagon Alley will of course feature Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts and a future method of getting to Hogsmeade (RCT3 does not have the Hogwarts Express). Future areas are being evaluated to get more classic attractions in Universal Studios Park.A classic shot. Yes, the sign says Universal Orlando, but this is RCT3. Also, a teaser of Expo 2025 with the infamous expo set that makes in appearance in roughly 99% of RCT3 projects. The Back To The Future gravity building is massive, but will integrate with that area. Trash cans have been added along some of the pathways. This indicates these areas are complete and ready for guest use. This entrance is probably one of my favorites out of all my Universal Studios theme parks I have done since RCT3 came out. Much of my research is coming from evaluating the Google Earth models as well as pictures taken during my trip last November. I hope to get many more in June to include Epic Universe and Volcano Bay.Entry gifts and guest services were recently completed. Here guests can get everything they need in one area, as well as some exclusive SGW throwback merchandise 😉. This building took a little bit to figure out what will work and complement the existing ticket windows. Like those, I used CaptainEO's Universal set that the main entrance arch came from as a skeleton for this building. The difference is the color is white instead of the pink that was in that set. Overall, it turned out better than I expected. I will probably add some windows and more details later on, but we have more guest services buildings.May 16 guests will walk through these gates. I do use the basic RCT3 path to map things out and place path covers over it. This area is still under heavy development but will be a crucial area of the phased opening of the park.I hope you all enjoyed this brief update and commentary. This project is a true test on the limits of RCT3 and park crafting. More ideas are coming around as I am close to a "research trip," and I cannot wait to share more of this project.
April 10Apr 10 Author So, RCT3 likes to make me remember it is over 20 years old. To account for such a large project, I will be splitting things up into two park files instead of the massive one. This will affect the way the entrance looks and is laid out, mostly losing the lagoon and using the parking garage as "portals" from the RCT3 spawn points into both parks. A plus to this will be that Universal Studios Park and Adventureverse will be able to be a bit more expansive and less constricted to the park boundaries set by them being next to one another.I do not see a necessary delay to the May 16th phased opening, but it is up in the air. Adventureverse is going to be quite a heavy theme park by itself, so there are pros and cons to the split and will result in some creative changes into how some areas are handled or what is in each park (two Potter lands in one? 🤔).
April 16Apr 16 Sorry to hear you're having RCT3 troubles... we've all been there, hahaExcited to see the new parks though and I like the take on the two parks idea! there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Epic Universe is going to be an inspiration for Adventureverse as well as Islands Of Adventure.
April 19Apr 19 That's a damn shame about the file size. It would be cool if you could hop over/purchase the next tile, similar to how modern city building games work. RCT3's problem is that it's stuck on one core... if I remember correctly. I need something similar for the parking lot and entrance of Blackheart's Cove, because the spawn point and original entrance sits at the base of a mountain. There'd have to be a huge underground entrance tunnel that connects you to a parking lot off the side of the park somewhere. I was thinking about creating a faux skyline that mimics the left side of my park in a new sandbox, just so I can make an entrance and parking lot tie into my park lolAnyway, this is one heck of a project you have going. Very professional and incredibly clean looking. It's still impressive what can be done with this game and your projects are perfect showcases for it. None in this community gets the attention they deserve for the work they've put into creating inside RCT3. Only other players/builders know what a chore it can be lol.

None in this community gets the attention they deserve for the work they've put into creating inside RCT3. Only other players/builders know what a chore it can be lol.Thank you for the amazing words. The two-in-one parks I used to do were way smaller and used far less scenery (in-game trees and paths no covers). I am going to still use the walkway covers as the entrance into the two parks treating them as separate entities. I also like starting my parks with ticketing, security, and other guest facilities to add some realism and a buffer from the outside world and the theme parks.I like taking a lot of these real-world parks, especially those I am familiar with and putting a twist and adding things that could be a thing or are in the works by creative teams. Doing this in a 20+ year old game is a chore, but that is the fun in it. Making realistic parks in something that probably never had its limits pushed by the RCT3 game creators. That is our job, and we have a lot of great projects being shared.

That being said it may be in use with another show :D The video was uploaded to James-Michael Roddy's YouTube channel then possibly taken down due to copyright. Edited May 14May 14 by SJR95
