It's 5 o'clock somewhere. I am excited to see this develop as we all dive into PC2. The coaster looks real smooth and is a classic coaster.

I'm excited to see where it goes too now that we have water parks as well!

Had the day off today, so really pushed the limit with this park today! I experimented with the new pathing system and boy it is the best!!!! Even with RCT3 path covers, never could I reach this look! The park is now 50% completed!

Be sure to check it out in the workshop!!!

The underwater scene in the Tidal Wave video threw me for a loop. I wondered, "Did the train go off the track?!?!". But no, just a bit of artsy camera work.

That was actually unintentional lol

I like that action shot with the Barracuda train coming at us. Unfortunately, the photographer gave his life to get that shot. :classic_tongue:

Until I watched the video, I didn't realize how complicated this coaster is: Reversing the direction and switching the track.

Yes so in the RCT3 version, I used a custom jr coaster, I forget who created it, but basically it was a boomerang coaster in RCT3. So in this revision of the ride, it kinda goes back to its roots in the sense that it goes backwards once again for part of the ride.

I love the look of the coaster (and those coaster cars)

I also like that you protect the riders under canopies during the track switches

yes I love that I added that as a detail. Will be going around to each ride and do a “summer heat” update to help protect guests from the hot summer sun while in the heat especially since that is a feature and thing we have to keep track of now in PC2.

I love the lush greenness of this park. Beautiful sunset pictures!

At first glance my eyes picked out that most of the palm trees in the first couple of screens were all about the same height and I wondered if a few shouldn't be scaled differently to add a little variety...but then it dawned on me that I had seem fields of palms that were exactly like that - most all of them the same size.  Here outside of São Paulo we have large plots of land where they grow bananas and palms for palm hearts, there's lot's of road-side vendors selling whole bunches of bananas and canned palm hearts, and the trees are all pretty much exactly the same height, which your eye notices.  So those first couple screens actually look very authentic!  The rest of your foliage is very lush and natural too.

Love the screenshot, those are just gorgeous shots.  You're making great progress so far!

This park has always been about the landscape planning for me. I’ve always enjoyed  making ponds and gardens so I’m able to really let that part of me flow with this park.

The biggest help to this is the forest painting tool. It is such a heaven send. It makes it so much easier to make more natural looking forests compared to placing trees down one at a time at different angles. I look forward to working on Danger Island! I can only imagine how much better  it is going to look in this new game!!

The pools are now open! Probably one of the more difficult things to work on, especially with the lag I experienced. Anyway here they are!

Hopefully the fixes coming to the game will have ease the lag and then I can revisit the pool area but for the time being I went ahead and used mostly prebuilts for now other than the giant pool and tthe lazy river. The park is now 90% complete! Just need to add some little doo dads here and there (lag permitting of course)!!!

I love how the lazy river flows all around, and through, the pool complex. I can't help but think that if this were RCT3, the peeps would all be complaining "I want to get off Lazy River!" at about the halfway point. :classic_tongue:

Attempted to put a more Key West color pallette into Carnival World area as well as create new ride signs! Cheers!
