Hey guys! This thread is about my new RCT 3 park. I will try to post updates of the progress regularly. That depends on how much time i will be able to spend on building. That was a stunning video, very ethereal! Reminded me of AdricTW's ancient D'ni Ae'gura video from '06. Your building style is creative and beautiful - I especially love the interaction the coasters have with each other and the surrounding scenery. I do hope to see more progress on this park, and maybe even a coaster POV video? 😉

@TheRedhead43 For the castle i mainly used shyguy's alpine and main street sets. They are truly brilliant. And a few pieces from Ezee's Cinderella Castle.  In the second sreenshot i mainly used xistics italy set 2. But i plan to make some changes in this area. Supports: Moby's steel jungle and coasterjoe's B&M connectors.

@KablaryFinal goal is to create a video where i present the full park including POVs😁. And of course i will upload the park on this site.

I am trying to work on the park right now. But unfortunately there's the issue at the moment that the game keeps crashing and I don't know why. It happens every 10-15 minutes. I want to recolour some custom scenery using the colouring tool and the game just crashes. Is that a common bug? It works for a short time and then suddenly the game crashes. And apart from that my game keeps crashing regularly for quite some time now. It must have to do something with the CS. But I don't know how to fix it.

Try turning the shadows off. When you start to use a lot of custom scenery, shadows become a brutal choke point.

Thanks for the tip! I tried it. It didn't help.😔 The crashes get more frequent. But I might have an idea. In the tutorial by @wolfpaw on "How to Install Custom Content into RollerCoaster Tycoon 3" it says to "extract the zip or rar file and open up the folder it has just extracted". And after that you can add the folder into the folder "themed". Not knowing that I just copied the folder within the zip folder and pasted it into "themed". Is that the crucial mistake? And how should I proceed? Delete the sets, extract the folders and reinstall them or is it possible that this procedure will mess with the park file🫢 That makes me wonder why this problem occured just recently and not right away. I had no problems before. And I've been working on this park for a long time. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Some CS sets have VERY specific install requirements - sometimes there are more items that need to go into other folders as well, such as ParticleEffects or Sturctures. What set or sets do you think are giving you trouble?

I've been working on the mainstreet plaza during the time the crashes started to get more frequent. So the main sets I'm working with right now are shyguys main street and alpine sets. And some pieces from other sets like Stationsjimsjrs Western things and ezees cinderella castle and some other. But I use these just for some detail work. The strtuctures mainly consist of shyguys main street sets.

I've always had trouble with one of shyguy's Main Street sets; not sure which one, the one with the two hexagonal roofs. One of them makes my game crash. Although, I think if I place both of them in the park it doesn't crash (Something to do with shared textures, I think.). I think one of the 2h(?) walls, in the same set, also causes my game to crash. Not sure if it's just my computer or if everybody has the same problem. Just throwin' this out there in case it makes any difference.

UPDATE: It appears that it's specifically a colouring tool problem. If i don't use it, the game seems to work just fine!😅 So I won't use it anymore. Back to the real topic. I will post some updates soon!👌

I use Shyguy's Main Street sets all the time without any issues, so it's more likely some other issue. (possibly an issue with combinations of mods that includes Shyguy's Main Street sets)

Unfortunately my game started to crash again frequently, what makes working on the park almost impossible. The crashes began while I was working on the mainstreet of the park. I'm clueless what to do. The CS sets I've been using for the past two weeks are shyguys alpine and main street sets and ezees cinderella castle. I can not pinpoint the moment or reason that causes the game to crash. It's totally random. If it continues like this I don't see myself finishing the park. 😑

Your architecture is BEAUTIFUL, that main street is very very detailed - looks amazing so far! I hope you can get your park fixed up, it would be a real shame to see it lost. Others have already stated it but you can try park cleanup 2.0 or 2.1 (both are available on our downloads section) or trying the Large Address Aware which I haven't personally done but I'm sure many here can help you with that!

Doing such complex and detailed structures is really a challenge in RCT3. Well done, and fingers crossed for your game performance!
