Kablary Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Happy February! How’s everyone’s new year resolutions going? Have you steadfastly committed to your resolution? I know I haven’t…. If you’ve gone 4 weeks into this year and stayed on track to hitting or keeping your goals, what are your tips and tricks to staying on target? Quote Something, sometime, eventually...
JB Posted February 3 Posted February 3 To keep your goals, don't set yourself up for failure. Keep the goals simple and reachable. Better yet, don't make any formal resolutions. I'm 70 years old and I stopped making New Year's resolutions about 40 years ago.... never been happier! Proclaiming a resolution almost certainly will result in failure; it's psychological. Your mileage may vary. 2 Quote

I've heard this before, though I've never taken the advice  Every NYE at 11:55pm, I tell myself, "Stop biting your nails." Then 12:30am rolls around and I've already failed. So I'll say my resolution for 2025 is to not set a resolution at all. Quote Something, sometime, eventually...
Cody Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I don't do resolutions, but 2024 is looking to be interesting. Last year I had a lot of growth at work and had a pretty okay year in terms of everything else (compared to 2020-2022). Already have one Disney trip under my belt and have my first work trip in April so this might be starting the year I start wanting to travel more. Other than that, getting back into my hobbies more (xbox, RCT3, etc). Quote
