Is it worth getting RCT3 if you don’t have any access to adding custom Addons?

Been wanting to get into RCT 3 lately (yes a beginner in rct3 in 2023!) but one main thing is still holding me back.  I don’t have a PC . Which means my options are iPad or Nintendo switch.  I am worried that without custom Addons the game won’t be able to provide what I am looking for. I am a coaster/theme park enthusiast and love the look of some of the parks people have been posting here! But I have noticed everyone uses mods. Even the coaster track and trains are not stock.
so will the game have enough stock options to still be enjoyable enough?   Is it possible to still make reasonably realistic parks?   Interested in hearing peoples thoughts.   My main draw to RCT 3 is the ability to see your park from the ground looking up at it.  VS only looking down on it in RCT classic.    I build many decent RCT classic parks so I am used to the RCT name. (Well the good ones… not those… other ones…). Interested in hearing peoples thoughts.

If you're looking for a game to make realistic coasters and parks without mods, RCT3 probably isn't what you're looking for. The game is 20 years old and the vanilla version is a little on the cartoony side as far as design goes. Granted it was pretty amazing for it's time.  It's still entertaining, and a pretty addicting sim game at that. You can make interesting parks without mods but they're not going to be photo realistic.  These are some screenshots of an unfinished park I was working on. I did edit the options text file to allow track intersecting though. I'm not sure if that's even possible on ipad or switch. Not to say some of what I created isn't possible on those platforms, because some scenery does allow to intersect some scenery pieces but not all. That being said I've never played it on anything but PC. The game trailers will give you a better sense of what it will probably look like on ipad or switch.

Yeah ok.  Still that park you made looks unreal but I imagine that is just the result of years of practice.   I probably don’t need super realistic. i have stock RCT2 and I have enough fun with that, and still can make decent looking parks that I am happy with. Though the graphics of RCT2 are very forgiving.

thanks for the reply

I've seen some pretty incredible shots of parks that just use base-content. It won't be as realistic or custom as those with custom content in it obviously but they are still pretty incredible parks. You can also do a pyro show and create your own effects which looks very realistic!

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really
