I'm in love with this park. So glad you posted this here, as I hadn't had time to view it over at those "other" forums. Although I am now suffering from sensory overload, as there is just so much to take in, especially as you posted all the lands at once. Your attention to detail is top notch. I especially love the pathways with the multi-levels sidewalks and cracks in the pavement in some locations. So many brilliant ideas. My only question is.. is there room for two "Wonder" megaparks here at ParkCrafters? 😉 I can't wait to see this park continue to grow and change over time.

The more I think about it, the more I think that it is very unlikely we will get a Jurassic Park DLC. In order to do that, Frontier would have to acquire a license to use content in the game, just as they had to do with the JWE games. The existing deal they have with Universal does not give them free reign to put Jurassic Park content in any of their games, only the JWE series. I doubt they would spend the money to purchase another license for PC2. Now this doesn't mean we couldn't get a dinosaur/prehistoric DLC in the future. Just not specifically a Jurassic Park themed one. But I could be wrong...

Work has begun on the refurbishment of the second floor of Lafitte's Castle. The new Fitness Center. Perkins decides to check it out. Watching pirate battles on the video screen while working out. Perkins gets extra cardiovascular exercise, swinging his broom while on the treadmill. Is he going to bench press that 200 lb weight, or his broom? I think I know the answer.

That's the name I gave it too. Well, "Wandinga", as it's a female. Like minds think alike, or is it mentally ill minds? I'm not quite sure.

Returning to Expo 3000, while not included in the PC1 version, is the Photo Shop, or more precisely, the WONDERful Memories Photo Shop. Originally the Camera Shop in the initial design of the Wonder World Model, camera shops have not been a thing in theme parks for some years now. But digital photo services have gotten big. At the WONDERful Memories Photo Shop, you can purchase the DigiPass, which lets you collect an unlimited amount of digital photos taken personally, by the park's photographers, and on-ride photos, for a single price. There are 3 tiers from which you can choose to purchase. The Single Park, One Day Pass... The Multi-Park, One Day Pass... And the Multi-Park Annual Pass. Various pics of the park will be displayed on the monitors, once more of the park has been built. Video of the animated DigiPass display. (Excuse the shaky camera. 1st person camera mode is a bit janky in PC2. I'm hoping they'll make it work more like the PZ version, which is much smoother.)

Hard to say on this one. On the one hand, they already have their Jurassic World Evolution series, with the 3rd installment adding lot's of Planet game features like advanced terraforming tools and a building system with tons of (scalable) objects to custom design your parks. So it seems they are trying to entice the Planet Zoo and even Planet Coaster fans to buy this. So it's doubtful they would add dinosaurs to Planet Coaster. That would defeat the purpose. On the other hand, they already have all the dinosaur models and could easily created audio animatronic versions of them and import them into Planet Coaster, and thus entice JWE fans to buy that game. Plus, there are a lot of PC2 players who have no intention of buying JWE3, and still are crying for dinosaurs in PC2. So who knows.

So we can post links to ParkCrafters without worry of deletion? 😈 The Frontier forums served no purpose as there was absolutely no communication between the fan base and developers. It made no difference to Frontier if they kept it open or not. But when things turned dark over there, they shut it down to stifle its critics and keep the negativity from spreading. Yes, they most likely want to get away from the old forums format, but as long as the other forums remain positive, there's no need to close them and piss off anyone else. I mean, the Planet Coaster 1 forums are all but dead, but still remain open. They also serve no purpose, but as the few posts they get over there are quite benign, no need to close it. The international forums look to be pretty dead, so again, no need to close them. On Discord, it 's very hard to have a serious conversation, especially a critical one, as the fanboys over there attack anyone with anything negative to say. And most criticisms scroll away and are lost, sometimes within minutes...just what Frontier wants.

Great park. I love the different themes of each land. And being a big fan of interiors, you nailed the interior of the Everest Inn. Looking forward to more pics.

As this was started while I was away, I've yet to view the whole thread from beginning to end, but working on it over the last few days. This is definitely a labor of love and I'm enjoying what I've seen so far. Odd that they would do LOTR, as the movies weren't produced by Universal. I know they can, or have, acquired a license to add stuff in the park based on the books, but can't use any images from the Jackson movies. I'm curious to see if they do this, and how, without using the iconic images from those films.

Isn't it odd that when think about retirement and all the time we'll finally have, it ends up being the opposite. There's just so much we haven't had time to do before, and now, we've got so many things we want to do, there's still not enough time.

It's a game feature. Sick animals are actually taken to the Surgery Center and are laid out on the examining/operating table. Pretty cool feature.

Great update. I especially liked the Mickey Mouse Club Circus with the trapeze artists performing out front. I'm not sure what Walt would have thought of the midway section. I don't think he cared for the cheap game and food booths, with the barkers beckoning guests to throw their money away on games of theft, er chance. But as Wonder might say, "Who cares, he's dead."

A new employee has been hired. This is Dr. Hannah Lecter, chief veterinary doctor, in charge of the welfare and care of all the animals at the park. First assignment...checking on the welfare of the flamingos. The flamingos are suffering from a myriad of health issues. From Dr. Lecter's initial report, the park's new Animal Surgery center will unfortunately be getting a lot of use. Scooter is being chewed out for his atrocious care of the flamingos. Things are going to change around here!
