  1. This week a huge is the 9-year anniversary of World Of Discovery. Tomorrow will make 9 years since the announcement post on ShyGuysWorld that started out as an Epcot clone. Some said to take it a whole different route and not do an Epcot-based park. Well, 9 years later the park is still going and is continues to change as time passes. Currently, Discover Park is getting touch ups before its full reveal. Changes are being made to the paths and landscaping while finishing sections that were still being reworked from the previous configuration. This will then lead out to already existing sections of the park to have the front half upgraded to the latest building standards. World Exposition is taking a new identity as themes are being finalized to base the area around stories and genres that guests will love. World Of Discovery is here to stay and will continue to grow and change as it has in its nearly 9 year history.
  2. Hmmm this is tough. I have a lot of funny memories. One that I can think of is waiting in the Pirates Of The Caribbean attraction at the Magic Kingdom, a little girl kept saying "smells like doodie" in the queue. Her dad without hesitating said "that's called crop dusting sweetie." Forever quoted every time we visit that attraction.
  3. Hey all, We should all be mature and constructive in our opinions. This is still a new game and the first DLC for it, there are going to be opinions that will differ from one another, but these can be presented in an open-minded perspective to avoid any issues. That being said, please be kind to one another. If anything escalates, action will be taken. We are all here sharing a similar interest in theme park games. Games are everchanging and we are all ready for the next big thing to share our ideas. It is great to see some discussion among familiar faces as well as new ones. If anyone has an issue with this, please reach out to myself or any members of the staff team. -Cody
  4. This park is just getting better each update. I check the workshop for updates so I can see your details closer, and everything is stunning.
  5. I think we have an old version of sketchup on the site along with the necessary tools for creating the files for RCT3.
  6. I think this pack will see a lot of Harry Potter areas start to be created. The flying theater will allow parks to have a simulator attraction. Overall, not a bad start in terms of the DLC list. I agree with some of the statements here on it being a side-step from attractions in PC1 while continuing to add and improve features seen in PC1 to this sequel. Interested to see what DLCs they have plan as it can get interesting.
  7. I like it! A pretty detailed creation that I see the Disney influence in. I cannot wait for the attractions in this area.
  8. How am I just seeing this? I am using that in my Hollywood Studios park. Cannot wait for the Great Movie Ride to be behind it with a version of the Chinese Theater. Fantasyland at WDW has been interesting. The concept art of the original refurbishment and branding as "New Fantasyland" was crazy because of how many small areas there was going to be. It then went to Beauty & The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Storybook Circus.
  9. So, changing the colors in RCT3, I got used to the pink color scheme. Pictures do not do the real paint scheme justice; it needs to be seen in person. In 2020 I was in shock over how different it looked in-person versus photos. It was almost unreal. I am extremely happy to be getting the original colors back because it means someone somewhere is looking at fan feedback.
  10. The topic of this discussion is what is a wild/crazy theme you have seen or would like to see in a theme park game? Maybe even what is a wild theme park game you have seen on the market? We have seen quite a few DLCs and expansion packs in the many years the theme park gaming community has existed, so I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. One theme park game I thought was strange to see on the market was SeaWorld Adventure Parks Tycoon and a sequel. It always made me want more theme park companies in the industry to make more games. As far as themes, I would say some of the movie specific DLC packs found in the first Planet Coaster game.

This topic kind of loses me. We have not had PC2 for a year yet, but I agree the updates going to just YouTube clips and some social media posts is disappointing. On the other hand, if they are not doing anything too extensive, it probably got too much to stream often especially when things being added to PC2 were things that previously existed in the original PC. It is not dead at all, a year I would say is a time period of determining popularity while users are learning what is new at the same time.
  12. I am happy things worked out. This is a massive fair-based park that is impressive to see in this nearly 21-year-old game. Now I want fair food 😅.
  13. Here is a first look at the new area Discover Park. Still needed to be complete is landscaping, path covers, shop/restaurant details, and other guest necessities. This area features a new water feature and will have the park's fountain as the main focus while blending in the geodesic motif into the area and bring in more shade in the near future. This refurbishment is part of WOD-9 as the park reaches its 9th anniversary next month. Once complete, other areas that are having land and stories prepped will begin further development.
  14. Still a fun project to watch and help grow. I am happy to see quite a bit of variation rather than making a Disneyland Park recreation. That is tough as it is, but I see you are having fun with it. Each land you seem to be stepping away from that Disneyland recreation mindset allowing you to explain your process and decisions more. My favorite attraction currently is Big Thunder Mountain due to it being your own take with heavy influences on multiple versions. Please continue the great work my friend.
  15. Great to see another RCT3 player. Very nice of you to upload the custom content you used. If it was a tedious process, I might suggest a Custom Content Required text file to save you the trouble of linking everything.
