  1. For me, it's a bit of a hodpodge of hobbies. I was down a VERY deep rabbit hole of home theater building for a good 6 - 7 years....it's probably been my favorite "activity" outside of Halloween and spooky shenanigans. I went ALL OUT back in 2020 and bought two massive triple-18" subwoofers from PowerSound Audio and a JVC x790r projector in anticipation of building out my dream theater space (render below). But then those plans never materialized and I sold off all the good stuff that wasn't getting used 😔 I curretnly run a 7.4.2 system with JBL Studio 5 speakers, two different dual-driver PSA subs a 77" LG OLED, so I'm very content with that 😄
  2. So are you responsible for all the storms blasting the east coast right now?
  3. You almost need an epilepsy warning for this kind of madness. SUPER high-energy...hard to believe you kept it up! I dare say it's a bit fatiguing, but honestly I spent more time thinking "how in the hell did he do this?" Those blasts of hot pink at 1:10 are sexy as all hell, feels like you're jumping into lightspeed as the track rockets off into its frenzy. If Kikos' stunning laser work and Vanderites' hyper-accurate beat syncing had a crazy lunatic lovechild, Mandala Re:Entry would be it. Except this show is so uniquely you! My only gripe is your choice of music for the trailer and preshow intro - they have absolutely no perceptible correlation to the show's music. Maybe that was the point? Feels like we're built up to expect an epic orchestrated soundtrack, and then BAM! It's a hypersonic electronic jam. Don't get me wrong, that's definitely your sweet spot and I'm so happy that you can make it work so well for you - lawdy knows I wouldn't be able to touch this kind of choreo with a flimsy stick. But for me, it just seemed a bit like audio whiplash.
  4. These two quotes sum up The Call perfectly. From those faintest of firefly embers dancing over the lake at 1:23 to the roaring crescendo at 4:22, everything was so tightly-synced and mood-enchanced. That 4K 60 fps filming is a total game changer! The RCT3 MixMaster feels completely reinvigorated. I think one of the strongest elements of your particular flavor of showcrafting, at least in this outing, is your more subdued color palettes. Instead of the expected green/blue/purple, we get seafoam/pastel turquoise/dried lavendar. Even in your "firebird suite" everything still feels VERY powerful, but without the hyper-bright oranges and reds, instead relying on terracotta and burgundy tones. These muted colors allow the feature effects to come forward - like the fire cannons and LED screens - but don't lose any of their beauty or character. Congrats on sending out the call, Wolfie. May all the throngs of players old and new answer and come join the new ParkCrafting community.
  5. I think my username should change to "OldBrains." 👴 Thanks for the correction, fellas. I haven't actually played with that pack of effects in a couple of years. Sorry, Juhron, if you should ever poke your head in here...
  6. Really love the simplicity of the set here. I vaguely remember the original Mandala show from many moons ago - it was the first major advancement in laser choreo since Stardust if I recall correctly. I'm sure this will be another majestic extravaganza from you!
  7. I think those "Flamenco" aerial effects you designed are my favorite! June 24th can't come fast enough.
  8. That was SO much fun to watch! The original "This is Halloween" song has lost its magic for me...been exposed to it way too much over the last few years... but the "Disneyfied" version of it is rad to listen to when accompanied by your pyro choreography. The trick or treat line that is sung while those reverse aerials effects went off put a big ol' smile on my face - great use of that firework!
  9. You've mastered SO MUCH of the show creation genre, but one thing I'm particularly fond of is your mortar placement. Every effect feels like JUST the right size for the depth of field and set sizes. Having been able to watch the fireworks many times at the Anaheim park, they all feel very true to life-size. You've clearly done your research ?
  10. When this happens to me, I just refresh the page and start the post over ?
  11. Holy toledo! I remember you from way back when on Atari (and maybe even MiceChat?!) - I love seeing how so many veteran players of RCT3 are migrating back to the game and investing their time here on ParkCrafters. @wolfpaw has developed a budding community of creators, makers and designers here!
  12. Holy macaroni. Like...holy macaroni!!! Love the tagline in this, and SERIOUSLY impressive set design work. You open for commissions? Hehehe... Following this topic for sure!
  13. Damn Bookworm, you've been BUSY these past few years! You absolutely nailed that magical finale in each of these mini-shows. This was a great idea to do leading up to that masterpiece of Epcot Forever; I'd say the experience of these prepared you very well for it!
  14. I'M A STOOPID OLD HOOMAN, WOLFIE, OKAY. Here's a snippet of the already-miniature first soundtrack. Mini Bite Fun.mp3
  15. So even following that, I couldn't access the correct folder! Apparently it was hidden in my files? I'm not sure. Eventually I just copy/pasted this C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Frontier\RCT3 from Reddit into the Windows search bar and got to where I needed to be.
  16. It's gonna have all the spook. I promise. My goodness fellas, I forgot how annoying and tedious it was to build stages in game. No wonder everyone learned to make their own CSO sets ? Yesterday I spent a few hours sorta just "blocking" everything out with basic walls, then went in with coaster track to try and do something more ~elaborate~ and realized there was no Peep rename cheat for ride intersections. So then I had to learn how to edit the Options.txt file, which is a whole other issue for the Steam-based game. Special thanks to @Wilhelm1407's Reddit post from years ago where he very plainly typed out the directory location - stumbled upon that after an hour of Googling...you guys, I've never felt so OLD and out of touch with computers as I have this past week. ?

Ok, how many times did your game crash while filming that bombastic hail-mary finale? Hard to believe that in an 11 minute show, there wasn't a single dull moment throughout. FABULOUS work as usual, Bookworm! The audio was particularly crisp for a live recording! Didn't realize it wasn't a track until the live pyro could be heard - awesome to hear and see the corresponding boombooms on screen!
  18. THE SPOOKIER THE BETTER
  19. In an attempt to prepare myself to rework the long-ago announced Octane project, I've decided to start small and get my feet wet. Bites O' Fyre will be a mini series of four 1- to 2-minute shows, each with a unique setting built just for that sequence. We'll start with Bite O' Fun, a futuristic, high-energy, happy-go-lucky romp, and then follow it up with Bite O' Bark, a gritty and suspenseful cellist-driven ballad. The third show, Bite O' Spook, sadly became corrupted by spooky spirits and refused to be resurrected. A replacement show, Bite O' Fang, tears through the skies this February, leaving our final show in the series, Bite O' Dust, promising to be the wildest pyro in the wilderness! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take a gander at Bite O' Fun! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pull up a seat and peep Bite O' Bark! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Grab your umbrella for Bite O' Fang! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next show is Bite O' Dust Tumblin' through the forums soon....
  20. I'm sure Claudio, Mike, or even Ben would agree ? I'm so stupidly excited to see how this progresses, Wolfie! Thanks for the info on the media pack - I found it probably 30 seconds before you replied to me. Really enjoy the variety of items available in it!

As a child, a good-looking playground was only bested by Christmas morning. But thinking purely from a safety standpoint, are those path markers really the best idea for an area dedicated to kids running around recklessly?
  22. HALLO YES I'M ANSWERING THE CALL LOVEEE 2WEI. What a dynamite trailer you put together. I'm drooling..... Seriously, this may be one of the most epic shows produced to date. MOVE OVER ILYXR, YOU'VE BEEN DETHRONED. Looks like you got the 4K filming trick to work! Will that Park Crafters splash be available to download for the rest of us peons? nevermind im a dumbdumb its in the downloads already JEEZ ?
  23. This is a phenomenal project! Love the video too - that soundtrack is fun!
  24. D’awww, thanks! The lava is comprised of a metric butt-load of NukeFish’s particle effects. I remember that this photo was taken during the only time I had loaded the park file with everything working correctly. Every other time, half to all of the particle effects were missing.
  25. Ok but that is a very good ride! I really enjoy most of SFMM's coasters. Haven't been since X2 debuted, but....I'll stand by my comment. Anything named Vertigo Views gets my vote!
