Heading into Carlsbad Caverns.

After the tracks crossover the river, they enter another cavern that is a larger room. This room will have the track dip into a pool of water and have mining scenery.

Pass by the Hollywood sign and head towards the caverns.

Here are the crossing from below before ant supports or fine rock work has been done.

THX - this whole area has boats going under tracks (several times), train going under and above the tracks as well. Train also goes over boats and along boats in this area of the park as well.

Headed down under the bridge

Now I'm working on the first of the track crossovers of the river inside the cave system. This one is right after that lava room we looked at earlier and is a double crossing. I will need to build a bridge of sorts for each trach and supports for them.

Across the concourse is the main festival area which is on a turf/grass area. It includes tress, tents, a bunch of vendors, and lots of places to sit and rest.

Jumping over to the start of the ride. This will be the back wall of the load stations for both tracks which is the entrance to the first lift hills. Just a tease for now.

Continuing down the backside of this row there is a restroom in the back of one of the shops.

I have to say that this was part of the blueprint I used, but I embellished on it to actually connect to the track.

Here is the backside of the main concourse. Not much here, but wanted to show it as to the left is the huge African Ungulate habitat and where the jeep ride will run. This walkway is a main viewing strip for these animals.
