  1. Here is the backside of the entry gate. The blue arrow and shop will be a park gift shop. I don't plan on detailing out this shop at least right now. The orange arrow on the other side will be guest relations, where there will be stroller, maps, umbrellas, and lockers.
  2. Looking down on this walkway whole area
  3. Made a few cosmetic updates. Added curbs, caps on the walls, and changed the colors of the sign.
  4. I also like that you protect the riders under canopies during the track switches
  5. I love the look of the coaster (and those coaster cars)
  6. THX - I wanted to make it feel like the steps were along and going down to the Ganges River.
  7. Looking at more of this walkway along the river.
  8. Added some additional walls along the side edges, along with plants and more design details.
  9. THX. Those rides are just place keepers for now to give guests something to do while I design and build.
  10. Here is an off vehicle/night ride.

Random pic of pathway with the animal bridge crossing overhead.
  12. Couple more shots of this walkway in its completed form.
  13. Started working on the entry plaza. Entry gate indicates that this park will have Greek, Roman, and Norse themes. I made an attempt to have different style pillar tops, windows, etc. to indicate the different themes on each side/section.
  14. Nice. I especially like the little train ride
  15. Yeah -I'm thinking they made some discerned shortcuts to get this game out thinking that the community would just glance over them, or not even notice. Makes me wonder if they really know who their audience really is. IMO most of the shortcuts are those that are performance based (meaning scaled down to make performance better) and those that maybe a console players may not notice as much? Things like scaled down water details and graphics, scaled down flat looking terrain painting (a big one with me), and a few other things. Clearly they designed and rolled this out for the console player and not a PC player, which is a bit sad. Maybe console purchases are up and us PC users are going the way of the dinos?
  16. Love that park (and that part of the country). Almost moved there once a long time ago. And yes in a way - that is what inspired this name.
  17. Here is a basic layout. Roman to the left, Greek to the right, and Vikings in the middle.

    I see it fine
  19. Nice, and I like DL. Reminds me of the Music Park that was in Myrtle Beach.
  20. Nice - have fun. I can't believe you have never done any of the other Planet games before now.
  21. Played around as well, but haven't touched the waterpark stuff yet. Park area does seem small, but will comment more on this once I actually start eating up that space. The paths are like gaming candy. I also feel like the terrain painting seems really "flat" compared to PC. I really like terrain painting and the first experiment in the new game was a bit disappointing.
  22. Can't wait to see what you do in this game Cody. I feel like you are a child of mine that has graduated!!! 😄
  23. Well, I have been playing around the past few hours with the new game and I think I'm ready to start building. My first park will be Garden of the Gods. This is primarily because of the theming currently available. I have always had on my list of possible parks to build to include a Mythological gods park, so now is a good time. I plan on making smaller parks that what I always did in PC. They will still be detailed and filled in, but maybe a bit smaller so I can get through all the ideas swimming in my head and on my checklists. (we'll see how this plan holds up). This first park may also be a test park to get used to the game, controls, features, etc., so no idea how this will actually turn out. Plan: The mythological gods will have their own sections of the park, but will want to gain ground on the other gods and battle for more space. I plan on having Norse, Greek and Roman god themes, but there will be dueling rides throughout where the borders cross and the gods battle for new land. I was going to call the park Battleground of the Gods, so it may still change later on. Not really planning on having any waterpark features, but we'll see how that goes. (yes - I'm also still working on my other PC and zoo parks, so this should be fun keeping all this straight and all projects moving along). Stay tuned as I make progress.....

The animal quarters are hidden back behind the trees.
