  2. That’s right, I did lower the ground beneath the wind turbine. The only downside is that the space is actually too small for it. However, I did this so I can build much more later on, since the intersection is about twice as large in real life.

Being a retired semi pro magician, love the theme of the town square. I have always wanted to do a small (wait....I don't do small) magic themed park in this game.

  17. I liked the lay out and theming. The waterfalls looked especially nice!
  18. Welcome to Blackheart's Cove! This is the third Point Of View/Showcase video for the parks Giga coaster, "Titan Omega 300". This was the 3rd coaster project undertaken by the park and was designed and heralded as the resorts crown jewel. A couple challenges incurred by this project were the support and tunnel systems. Creating the landscapes, waterfalls and terrain elements were also somewhat of a challenge. The station has changed dramatically over the years, and has settled into the blueprint you see today. Enjoy
  19. I loath those log ends along the paths in PC1...so glad they offered completely invisible paths in PC2. They are so hard to hide unless you stick the edges under structures and then spend hours placing barriers to keep the peeps from walking through walls!
  20. Thanks for the kind comments! Here's an overhead view of this area... At top right is the Circus area, the tear-drop shaped area is Tink's Kiddieland, then at top left is the Animation Plaza. Old Town is below that, you can perhaps spot the three bridges linking it to Storyville. The large building at center left is the Haunted Mansion. Bottom left shows a little of the Native Village (I think it was likely referred to as "Indian Village" back then...), while at bottom right is the start of Old MacDonald's Farm. Here's a closer night-time view from the opposite angle. Haunted Mansion on the right, Circus on the left.
  21. I love ground-hugging coasters. Nice videos, thanks!
  22. I think you have captured vintage Disney pretty well. Looking good!

  24. The new rides look good so far. I look forward to seeing the finished product with landscaping, etc. As far as the new path system in PC2... I absolutely LOVE it. I'm always surprised when I hear people say they don't like it. Believe me, the more you use it, the more you will appreciate it. I literally quit PC1 because of its horrible path system. I can do everything in PC2 that I couldn't do in PC1. What you have to do is treat the paths like any other object in the park. You can select path sections... duplicate, rotate, and move them. Raise them, lower them. Watch a couple YouTube videos on creating paths to see all that you can do.
  25. Thank you kindly! I'm definitely beginning to develop that relationship for very specific functions. Absolutely in LOVE with the way the coaster's smooth out, but I'm really kinda hating the new pathing system? Maybe I just got so used to the PC1 version and I know enough of how to manipulate it that now I feel completely lost, but damn it really aggravates me sometimes. Especially missing that "select grid" function, I used that everywhere. Thanks! I really tapped into GateKeeper for some inspo, and the third inversion (the outward turn thing) is one that I made up. Not sure if it exists in the world, but I'm really happy with how it turned out! Thank you! Admittedly, those are the default colors, so it was pure luck. Sometimes, luck is all you need 😅 Well, we got some new stuff to look at today. I'm definitely keeping with my philosophy of "build what's comfortable" right now, so I've decided to re-build my rapids attraction from my PC 1 park, more so in spirit rather than a faithful recreation. The big twist here is that it now shares the mountain its built on with a new mine train attraction! I'm certainly no stranger to terrain-based roller coasters, but intertwining these two attractions has been a challenge for sure. There are several moments where the two interact with each other, and it's really been fun to play with. POV's and pics below! Also, to be clear, I have absolutely no plan whatsoever to tie in the wing coaster at this point. Not sure if it's part of this area, or a different area, or how those areas connect, literally no plan. It's highly likely that the wing coaster will end up moving eventually, but for now we're just building whatever. - StickyGum32
  26. Love those old west buildings. I like how you have a lot of stuff that would eventually end up in Disneyland. Like the Golden Horseshoe, which bears a resemblance to the DIsneyland building. Plus Fort Wilderness and the Friendly Indian Village. What?!? No elephants to stuff annoying kids into? Perhaps a rather large bison would do the trick. And all those tree stumps scattered about on the streets are an accident waiting to happen.

  28. Thanks everyone! Here's just some random screenshots as we wander around Old Town (Walt really needs his people to come up with a better name...) A few Disney characters have shown up here as well... Hmmm...think I saw that guy's mug somewhere recently... Miss Minnie's Ridin' and Ropin' Academy...For refined young Ladies and Gents... Goofy's Rootin' Tootin' Shootin' Gallery... Pecos Bill Tall Tales Inn Cafe... The Lucky Nugget and some local doctor's offices... Slue Foot Sue was Pecos Bill's gal friend... The Old School House... Peco's Bill's Grub Hub... Next door to Old Town is Fort Wilderness... Nothing much inside other than restrooms and a food vendor, it's a place for imagination... Next is the Native Village... Authentic Native foods like burgers and hot dogs from Chief Beef's...or milkshakes... Authentic Natives perform authentic Native dances on their authentic Native stage... (note the forced perspective of the small teepees on the hill as designed by our Imagineers...the same one's who couldn't come up with better name than "Old Town"...)... The Mickey Mouse Park Railroad passes by on the lakeside, while animatronic wolves howl a greeting... Back over by Fort Wilderness is Pecos Bill's Pack Mules where tired little burros plod endless circles while spoiled brats try kicking them to go faster. Sadly there's no elephant rides to shove the little tykes inside of in this part of the park... Meanwhile teens and adults waste their money washing ordinary gravel over and over looking for gold nuggets... Here Grandma and Grandpa can rest a spell overlooking the placid pond and the old settler's cabin like they grew up in... Next time we're off to visit Old MacDonald's Farm...such an original name! Until then...

Another tree house with places to get some goods up in the tree tops.
  31. Let's move around to the other side of this land again and take a closer look at the people mover (Tree Top Trolley). It enters this land from the (currently under construction) Jungles of the World land. Makes its way through a rope/climbing attraction and to a station along the riverbank. It then continues on and makes its way to the Western Highlands (still to be constructed).

  33. Wow. Do I dare say the best Planet coaster or project I have ever seen? The ride, the effects, the timing, the sound effects, the scenery, the soundtrack that sounds like it was written for this ride, the kinetic energy, and the overall story..... YES - this is the best Planet coaster or project I have ever seen. I'm in awe.
