so, just like the original planet coaster, what expansion pack you love to see come to planet coaster?, lets discuss

The ones they released from PC1 are really good. Makes the game feel like an old pillow. Spooky (or an equivalent) and Adventure (or an equivalent) are absolutely needed. We never got, and really need an Indiana Jones jeep type ride.

As far a new themes...Woods/nature (like log cabins, Natl Parks, pine trees, wood stuff).

County fair (tents, games, small flat rides, kids rides, fun house stuff, clowns, etc.)

Toys - pieces for kids games, toys, (like Toy Story land stuff)

Cartoons - maybe not a specific IP, but things like cut out trees, building pieces that are off grid shaped, cut out clouds, Almost like you can create rides that look like you are in a cartoon.

This has probably been said hundreds of times, but I would love to have all scenery pieces in all themes. They should develop a "set list" of walls and roofs, and make sure everything is available for every theme they release.

Not really themes, but big asks!

Would love to see a much better vintage set, with several old fashioned rides, and by old, I mean old, 100 years!!! Live animal rides, horse and buggy, stagecoach, (I loved the old elephant ride in RCT3!), a pony go round or trail ride, and a petting zoo of some sort.

I've asked for kiddie rides forever, so why not one more time?

But my biggest ask is for indoor attractions. They could just be a big featureless box that the peeps pile into. The creator could adjust sliders to change the capacity, excitement, duration, etc. for different types of attractions, and they can create the queue and scenery around the box. Instant Hall of Presidents, Tiki Room, you name it!

Resort Hotel DLC: A set to build a working hotel with staff, etc. I doubt this will happen.

Expanded Water Park set: Building water parks was a big addition to the game, and yet there is so much missing. The new Planet Coaster Logo even added a wave to the planet. Seems reasonable that there should be more content devoted to this.

All the old DLC sets, but expanded with new content.

Kiddy ride set.

Midway set with games and arcades.

Water vehicles like rowboats, paddle boats, canoes, etc.

Live shows like bandstands, animal shows, circus acts, theaters and stadium seating.

Modern, high tech attractions, seen at the Disney and Universal parks.

System for making advanced Fireworks shows (for Wolfpaw) Fountain shows, Drone Shows.

All the Wonder World attractions.😁

Not sure if Frontier lost the F1 license yet, but an F1 DLC would have been nice. Grandstand, racetrack, and car scenery items would have been cool to have as a classic racing theme.

YES to this, would love to see this added!

I will forever say this and I'm sure many on here are tired of hearing this but... a proper mixmaster/AFE to rival RCT3's in PlanCo2 would be my #1 dream. Don't think it'll ever happen though sadly...

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Actually, thinking about how they would add working hotels to the game, it could actually be implemented very easily. All you'd need would be a front desk, like the gift shop counter... room modules like the staff rooms in Planet Zoo (maybe a standard room and deluxe room)...and working elevators. With these minimal elements, you could build a working hotel.

I've used the same argument for years for indoor attractions, tiki room, Hall of Presidents etc. Just use the foyer, then a box or boxes peeps could pile into, set the duration, excitement, etc. And it's done. Quick and easy.

Not sure why this couldn't be implemented easily, but Frontier does not seem to hear.

Midway games and more kids rides are desperately needed. More theming for dark rides aswell.

I just hope we don't get exactly the same dlc packs rehashed for PC2.

Based on what we have seen so far, I believe that is exactly what we will get. Duplicate expansions with no "new" content at all.

Hard to say on this one. On the one hand, they already have their Jurassic World Evolution series, with the 3rd installment adding lot's of Planet game features like advanced terraforming tools and a building system with tons of (scalable) objects to custom design your parks. So it seems they are trying to entice the Planet Zoo and even Planet Coaster fans to buy this. So it's doubtful they would add dinosaurs to Planet Coaster. That would defeat the purpose.

On the other hand, they already have all the dinosaur models and could easily created audio animatronic versions of them and import them into Planet Coaster, and thus entice JWE fans to buy that game. Plus, there are a lot of PC2 players who have no intention of buying JWE3, and still are crying for dinosaurs in PC2. So who knows.

As long as the dinosaurs clearly look and move like animatronics, they could add them to the game without affecting the JWE market.

I think something like the time twister pack from RCT2 would be quite cool with a load of prehistoric items.

I hope you're wrong, but I fear you might be right. They won't be getting a penny from me if this is the case.

I really don't think they can afford to do that given how badly the last DLC was received though.

I'd love to see DLCs based on decades, with classic rides from the 1960s, 70s, 80s and so on. A 1990s DLC could then also include dinosaur animatronics, because of the dino hype after Jurassic Park.

And I agree, any animatronics should look and move like real animatronics, not like real dinosaurs.

WIshfull thinking probably but would be great if they add a Vekoma madhouse and an Intamin dynamic motion stage. With the paste-scenery-on-rides feature from PC2 this would really fit this game.

On the more realisitc side, I'm mostly hoping for ride packs with more less thrilling and kiddy rides like mentioned above. For example:

  • Rocktopus

  • Venetian carousel

  • Switt Drifter

  • Sky Temple

In addition, some more dynamic rides / features such as playgrounds, water playgrounds, inflatable obstacle courses, minigolf, shows, etc.

The more I think about it, the more I think that it is very unlikely we will get a Jurassic Park DLC. In order to do that, Frontier would have to acquire a license to use content in the game, just as they had to do with the JWE games. The existing deal they have with Universal does not give them free reign to put Jurassic Park content in any of their games, only the JWE series. I doubt they would spend the money to purchase another license for PC2.

Now this doesn't mean we couldn't get a dinosaur/prehistoric DLC in the future. Just not specifically a Jurassic Park themed one. But I could be wrong...

Not 100 on that. Dealt with same situation in my company. So depends on the terms of the license.

We need a spooky themed expansion with versatile animatronics. But I really want to see more realistic rides, more sized ferris wheels, maybe a ability to drag the height, same could be said for free fall towers, ob. Towers. The more rides the better, ones from the past decades as well for those that enjoy timeline parks.

Looks like we might be getting a spooky dlc / update and vista points if the latest image from Frontier is anything to go by.

man i realy would love to get more content and new features. however i realy cant get myself excited for it at all at this point. maybe im stubborn but i think frontier still has so much untouched potential in the game that they havent turned in yet. special rack pieces for all coasters, actually remove the track limitations, expanding the diversity in the restaurant menu item options, add souvenir items for the returned themes, actually for once realy improve the workshop, improve guest ai and pathfinding furher, rework moving platforms and the horrible sequencer, rework the horrible water ride pieces, small details like making guests actually get wet on water rides, start adding QOL improvements... and im not even gonna start about all the bugs we still have and the, in my opinion, horrible perfomance that just doesnt feel any better in bigger parks compared to planco 1.

new content, yay. working out and improving what is already there, quadruple yay.
