Today Kingda Ka fell to the ground at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. It was a coaster that shattered many records and lives in the theme park history books. Today's community chat discussion question is what is a coaster that you experienced that you will never forget or even what is one you would bring back?

So, one I would bring back because it was unique is Dueling Dragons (Dragon Challenge) at Islands Of Adventure. I only experienced it as Dragon Challenge as I was too small during its time as Dueling Dragons. It was a unique attraction in how it was constructed and the fact that two tracks intertwined so well together is astounding. Now we have Stardust Racers at Epic Universe opening this year that I feel pays homage to Dueling Dragons in how the two tracks twist around one another. Plus, the nod to Dueling Dragons/Dragon Challenge in the queue for Hagrids is a nice touch (if you know you know).

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit will soon join the list of fallen coasters, and I honestly love that attraction and cannot wait to get my last rides on it in June. There are better coasters out there, but this one dominated the Universal Studios skyline and had such unique elements that you do not see too much in other coasters. I remember when it was announced and seeing it being constructed thinking it was just insane how tall and unique the layout is. Whatever replaces it will have to use a very similar footprint, I know permits have came out and have been shown to the public, but there are a lot of questions as to what the new coaster is and what is its theme.

What do you all think?

You took the words right out of my mouth, I miss Dueling Dragons! While Hagrid's is an excellent coaster, I still miss the thrill of Dueling Dragons.. I was only able to ride it like once or twice before they reworked it to the Dragon Challenge. Would love to go on it again one day, to this day it's still the only inverted coaster I've been on!

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

To be honest, I've only been to Valley Fair and a few other traveling carnivals. While I don't remember Valley Fair getting rid of any roller coasters since like, the 2010s when I first went there with my dad and his mother. (I'm not very good at remembering), the ride I do miss that they got rid of would be the Looping Starship, the first time I rid it would happen to be my last. I didn't really care for the ride, I just wanted to take on some more intense rides. Funny story, the men in my family couldn't stand the starship. My stepdad (back when he was a child) actually uhh... made a mess on another kid while riding it. As immature as that sounds, I guess that's why they took it down, for being too nauseating... or it was just old. Now these days, I can't really go to any carnival or amusement park, haven't been to valley fair in over 3 years (It was a tradition for me, my sister, and my dad), times are tough, you know? Now that dad's in his 40s, and me and my sister are nearly grown up (Other than my mentallity, which is still that of a 10-year old), he'd rather take me to Como Zoo or a museum of some kind... Oh, I got off topic. Yes, it is sad that the world's tallest Roller Coaster got taken down... Even though I have never been to Six Flags... or anything other than Valley Fair.
