Hey all! It has been a minute since I have made another discussion topic. This one is about coasters. What is the last coaster you rode and what is your favorite coaster that you have currently experienced? I would love to hear what everyone thinks.

I believe my last coaster was Velocicoaster at the Orlando Informer Meetup. I could be wrong, and it be Hulk or Hagrid's as the last "evidence" of rides that night is a video of the second launch of Velocicoaster from the queue.

As far as my favorite coaster, unsurprisingly it is Velocicoaster. My recent trip I experienced that and Hagrid's for the first time (other than POVs on YouTube) and could not believe the elements and how fast paced that attraction is. Also to think of it taking up such a tight footprint within the Jurassic Park area is absolutely incredible with the quick construction time. Something other parks are now struggling to do as Universal grows at a rapid rate. That is another conversation I could have with members if we want, but just wow.

Velocicoaster is a beast of a coaster, super smooth and extremely fun layout. Hagrid's is very very cool too but I prefer Velocicoaster over Hagrid's.

I haven't experienced that many coasters outside of WDW and Universal Florida, so mine would probably go to Velocicoaster as well. Woud LOVE to visit Cedar Point at some point!

I do have to give an honorable mention to Epcot's Cosmic Rewind, while the theme and attraction doesn't fit at all at Epcot (I promise I won't go into that right now), I can't deny the coaster is extremely fun and smooth. Very fun ride but the theme and placement just brings it down for me.

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

Last one I rode, also for the first time was Hagrid's.  I did like it.  Comic was also very good IMO. I have to say the best overall ride I have ever had, was The Beast, at night, in super dense fog. It was sureal zipping through the woods at those speeds and almost not being able to see anything.

I'm going to also throw in....lets hear about your WORST coaster ride. Mine was Superman-Ultimate Flight. Six Flags Great America. We were in line late, just before the park was closing and we were close to being the last ride of the day. This is a coaster where you hang below the track laying on your stomach like you are flying. Well, as we came into the final brake run to slow down before the station....wah wah wah...she breaks down. We hung there for like 30 minutes while they tried to get us into the station to unload. it was horrible. Heads hanging down feeling like your neck was going to snap, feet going numb, and while the harness is great for a few minutes while you ride....try telling me that after 30 mins of having you body weight push down on it. everything hurt. This was during Fright Fest, so it was pretty cold out as well. Then the urge to have to pee started. Not good. Anyway, they finally got the train moving and got us into the station to unload. We were literally the last people leaving the park that night.

Cosmic Rewind is my top Disney coaster. So Chris Pratt coasters are my favorite I guess 🤣.

I don't think I have thought about my worst coaster. I guess a standard spinning wild mouse or wild mouse coaster (Cheetah Chase/Sand Serpent at BGT, Primeval Whirl at DAK).
