IDOL - An Oshi No Ko RCT3 Pyro Show [Completed Work]

Took almost a month working on this but, I actually satisfied with the result despite some hiccups during post-production.

 

IDK how long until I came up with another banger but, enjoy!

An RCT3 Pyro/Lyric Music Video! Definitely a first of its kind. Super fun and neat idea, for sure! Though I must admit I'm conflicted about the massive text overlaid all over your choreography....I think you managed to incorporate it well, having large, blocky, transparent font that doesn't completely cover the action happening behind it. But for me, I'm the type of person who gets stuck reading subtitles (what a concept) and missing what's happening on screen. So even though you can plainly see the effects going off, all of that is lost on me because I'm focused on reading the text. That's not your problem, it's mine. 

As I said on Discord a few days ago, you lasers are definitely back up to par! Those strobing beams add an exciting energy to the show - I felt like a raver kid again at 2:31. (I was never cool enough to actually go to a rave - I just threw dance parties by myself in my garage)

This is what years worth of experience seeing concert/stage lights looks like (though I didn't got to any concerts in person yet)

Finally got around to watching this, the choreography has definitely improved from your last shows. Your lighting has also improved and now has more movement - it adds so much! I agree with Kablary regarding the lyrics on the screen though, it definitely takes you out of the show. It's an interesting idea, maybe you could do a separate version of your show that is much more like a music video with fast cuts and way more complex video editing and then have the normal show video. I think I did something similar with Crasher-Vania and Speakeasy, the traditional show videos were always much more popular but with this style of music, it might work better than what I tried back then (also my video editing back then wasn't that good, so that might be a factor as well, haha). Maybe a cool idea to try in the future?
