Hello everyone, I've been playing RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 for over 20 years and I'm experiencing a problem with night mode. The game works fine in the morning, afternoon, and evening, but it lags drastically in night mode. I tried running the game in compatibility mode, tried removing a bunch of scenery, and tried installing DXVK.

How large is your park file? Have you looked into the park cleanup tool and large address aware? These two tools may help, night mode in RCT3 is bipolar.

I tried both of those things and it unfortunately hasn't helped.

Hmmmm. Either the in-game graphic settings need tweaked a little or there is a lot going on for the file to handle.

I also tried reducing my parks file sizes with the Park Cleanup but it didn't help either.

How big is the park's file size? Unfortunately, large parks in RCT3 are prone to lag after they reach a certain size, night-time lighting adds to that. Have you run into the same problem with any other similar-sized parks in the past?

If you can take a night-time screenshot and post it here that might help get an idea of what you are dealing with...

So, I'm having this night lag on all of my parks. Here are the biggest file sizes: 17MB, 17MB, 15MB, 15MB, 10MB, 10MB, 11MB, 11MB, 10MB, 10MB, 11MB & 10MB
