Friday at 11:03 AM3 days I just found out today that NVIDIA app no longer recognizes RCT3 for screen recording. It shows a prompt about desktop recording instead. Is there any way to fix it? I tried to add the game in the app but it's still fruitless. Other games records just fine but not RCT3 "What I'm about to do, it doesn't make any sense, it's not logical, it is a gut feeling!" -James T. Kirk
Friday at 12:22 PM3 days Google gave this answer...not sure if it works or not...When the new NVIDIA app stops recognizing older games like RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 (RCT3), you can bypass the issue by activating Desktop Capture within the overlay settings. This tells the NVIDIA app to record the screen itself rather than trying to detect the game's executable file. How to Enable Desktop CaptureOpen the NVIDIA app and open the in-game overlay (default is Alt+Z or Alt+C).Click on the Settings cog wheel.Select Video Capture.Look for the Desktop Capture toggle and turn it ON.Start RCT3, wait until it is running, and then use your manual recording hotkey (default Alt+F9) or Instant Replay (default Alt+F10). Friday at 08:40 PM2 days I went through this with @wolfpaw when working on my show. The big thing is to make sure your Nvidia app is up-to-date.
