You had me at the word janky......I love to see how low-budget some creations can go while still being detailed and perfectly executed. Yours had working effects so it may not be janky.

That reminds me of scary rides that were on piers in Wildwood, NJ. A lot are gone but Dante's Dungeon (originally Inferno) was on Morey's Pier since 1981 and remodeled a few times.
