1. Just past the Candy shoppe there's a Magic Store, and next to it is Fleming's Cigar Store... Above is the Kansas Hotel and next door is Vidor's Kansas Butcher Shop... Rounding up this short block is Hats Fantastic, for all your chapeau needs...the Millinery Store is upstairs
2. Citytrader was in charge of most of the structures in Kansas, he has a good eye for period styles. I just prettied them up a little later....(AKA dumped a bunch of crap in and around them...).
3. Citytrader voted for either of your last two options... Now that moment you've been waiting for with baited breath! (And someone here's breath does in fact smell like bait...who had sardines for lunch???) The Park Entrance... Once inside we are transported back to a small mid-western town in Kansas...circa 1938... Ignore the storm clouds or the funny shaped silos in the distance... Since most people tend to start their tour by turning right, we'll buck that trend and start by going to the left...contrarians as always... The town fire hall starts off this street... Helpful signs in case you don't know where you are... Ahead the first MANY locales to quench your thirst or hunger and lighten your wallet... The Bijou Theater next door offer ice-cooled air while relaxing watching assorted features... Not sure which 'holiday' is currently being featured... "More to come..."
4. Well, we'll now head for the main entrance area. Here's the new park centerpiece that I showed up above... Right behind it is a Photo Spot... A handy information booth waits to assist you... Park maps are available, you can also download one to your phone...yes, the QR code works... Multiple ticket booths ready to serve you, and beyond is the main entrance...
5. Drive to the corporate offices and backstage areas... Stairs and escalators keep guests safe from the constant trams circling...
6. CW Inc Corporate headquarters...
7. Did you use billboard images behind the pillars to make the cave look deeper?
8. Here, in all it's glory, we have the other side's parking lot! (ohhhh-ahhhh!) This lot is used both by park guests and cast members. This lot is also served by a tram to ferry guests and workers to the park's entrance plaza. There's also a service road that gives access to the backstage areas, where costuming, maintenance, food services, etc. are housed in warehouses (ohhhh-ahhhh!). You can also just make out the taller CW.Inc Corporate building, the park's corporate headquarters (ohhhh-ahhhh!)...my office is across the hall from the cafeteria.
9. It's early morning before the park even opened!
10. We'll start our tour where everyone does...in the parking lots. Nothing much has changed in this part of the park. Here we see the main surface parking (ohhhhh....ahhhhh!), with toll plazas for entering and exiting (ohhhhh-ahhhhh!), the multi-story parking garage at center (ohhhhh-ahhhhhh!), the tram that circles the garage and heads out to pick up and drop off guests (ohhhh-ahhhh!). Then towards the right there's bus drop off area (ohhhh-ahhhh!) in front of the main entrance (ohhhhh-ahhhhh!)... Exciting, ain't it? Now I don't want to over-do the hype and get everyone over-excited, so it's only one screen for now!
11. Hey, we required a LOT of sammiches! And of course Citytrader insists that the crusts all be removed and they are cut on the diagonal...twice. That's wonderful to hear that you had just thought about this project! You're one up on Citytrader who probably hasn't even thought about getting out of bed today...
12. "They're baaaaaack!" No, we didn't wander off to fix a sandwich and then completely forgot about this...well, at least I didn't, I can't vouch for Citytrader... We had to break the park up into multiple benches again, which allowed us to add the amount of details we like to have (or at least the amount of crap I always seem to tack on...). The first bench is nearing completion, featuring the entrance areas, Main Street Kansas and most of Munchkinland. And forget that part where I said I didn't want to make a bunch of TMTK items for this project...I'm over 400 pieces already... *sigh* Anyways, we'll soon be taking a tour of the first bench, many of the things shown previously above remain...many of the things previously have changed. This screens shows just one - the new entrance centerpiece. As Citytrader always mumbles "there's more to come!". So you still have time to make other commitments before we get started!
13. Happy Birthday!
14. Yeah, I can understand why Steam won't help you after the fact. You already set up a new account, you already bought the game, so it's kind of too late now. They might have been able to help regain access to your old account. Anyways, make sure you have good anti-virus, and take steps to protect your accounts! Best of luck!
15. Nice touch of realism there!
16. I would still contact Steam support, explain what happened. Your old account, games and subscribed items still exist, you just don't have access to them. Steam Support should help you regain that, and they might even reverse the $64 you paid because you didn't let them help you.
17. Go to https://help.steampowered.com There will be a list of subjects, you can choose the one for My Account, follow the prompts. I think if none of their suggestions get you back on Steam you can then contact them with a Support Ticket.
18. Clever idea using the gas station as the loading area!
19. Your sketch of the cave interior reminds me of concept art for Disneyland that had Indiana Jones, the Jungle Cruise and the railroad all sharing different levels of the cave and each could be seen by the others. Nothing wrong with your sketches...I've had parks that actually look exactly like them!
20. Nice job working with the surrounding panorama, the view from that monorail station is gorgeous! Also nice job on that bridge...well done!
21. Yes, I said I wasn't going to make a bunch of TMTK stuff for OZ- just what is REALLY necessary... We're at nearly 100 pieces already. Thankfully Oz will likely be on just a couple benches, and 2/3rds is basically done, so it shouldn't reach DA's epic proportions...I hope.
22. Just a few random screens to wrap things up... The Disney America railroad lines on this bench is just one line that turns around and doubles back to give the illusion of their being two tracks to save peeps from riding around the other 3/4ths of the park that's been stripped down to nothing! The line turns around just past the Grizzly Lodge in the forested area on the right... We still provide something to look at...we circle around a pack of wolves calmly awaiting their duck dinner... Mt Rushmore looks much better at night... I forgot to include a screen showing the Grizzly Lodge's second floor Watering Hole... Backstage access to New Orleans as well as to Rushmore Station is by a service road that passes along the outskirts of the Bayou Bateaux swamp and Enterprise... It passes under the Disney America Railroads... To the backstage buildings serving this area located behind Mt Rushmore... Finally we'll end with Buff, Max and Melvin singing "Come Again"...and we hope you do!
23. Actually it was because I use the desktop version and it was set to the new version of the site, thus there was no "Direct Link" url available. I finally figured out how to change back to the old design, and the links now show. Strange! But now it works anyways...thanks for the help!
24. Nope, none of the links seem to work from Imgur. I'm assuming that I place the link in the box after clicking on 'Other Media" at lower right where you otherwise drag files to? I select 'Insert Image From URL', paste it, click enter, it turns red and does nothing else. I wasn't complaining about the file limits - they make perfect sense, just didn't see it specifically spelled out what the limits are, as I don't always read every post made, which is where it's likely been discussed before and I just missed it!
25. Having used up my allowance for posting images (I wasn't even aware there was such a limit...maybe should make that plainer?), I've tried uploading to Imgur, but it doesn't seem to work. I add the image url to the editor as the instructions say, but the box just turns red and it doesn't attach it to the post...
