  1. Ok, it turns out that I figured out a workflow solution to my issue. Copy and pasting folders before executing the Python script. In addition, there might be "new" old modules that may be coming, but I can't guarantee that at all.
  2. After an annoying complication, I realized even with the Python script to aid in creating pop-up names, it may requires me to take some times. Not to mention the pain of naming props. Naming props within a single theme takes less than 2 mins by itself. But, when you consider other factors, it can take a lot of times even when the script automates some steps. So, I think I decided to release the project sooner than not. Incomplete yes. Not willing to take that much time when it has been a 5+ years long project. And with virtually no support at that.
  3. Ok, here's a weekly update: I have renamed Caves and Hills Theme into Caves & Hills (1/2) as they are both similar. In addition, all of the props under those themes has been named. In addition, I realized that you can write a Python script to list file names, and then export text files, so I can massively shorten workload of not just the icons, but also naming many props. I have just gotten started on writing Python script which opens up directory dialog, so I can select the location of .prd files, and then I can input strings, and then export strings as a text map files using the list of names found in the folder with .prd files. This will definitely speed things a lot. And because I can modify script, this will allow me to name props with ease.
  4. Modified executable file to my knowledge. But, I have no idea what the older rct3 community did, and there is bound to be people who still have working cd copy of the game. I raised this thread because of a recent reddit post where the original poster had a cd copy and isn't willing to buy from other source. So, this can be useful for that demographics. It's the distribution of original game contents that where they'll care. They wouldn't care if you still need the contents to play with it. Even if they went further (which opens them up to ridicule), if you have a legal copy and simply modifying it, that's all fine.
  5. Well, if you do have a copy, you will eventually as I will bundle this with no-cd executable as it is portable and yes, it plays on Win 10. I wish I can share the complete game even though very few of us left, but to be safe from copyright infrigement, I cannot do that.
  6. Ok, I taken screenshots of several themes props for preparation of applying scripts in the future. This will help me reduce the workload massively. So, my estimate for completion is few weeks at best, and few months at worse. I still have to take more screenshots of ~100 themes props. But yeah, I'm too confident in being able to complete this.
  7. Disclaimer: Not a RCT3 player. It seems that there are players who do have CD for RCT3, and game copy world is still up (I think). I used game copy world exe for both Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe and Ultimate Ride Disney Coaster for about a decade, and never had a issue with them and they run in Windows 10, and they remain portable. So, wondering if it still the case for RCT3 and it's the only way that's not taken down.
  8. As you can see, I finished the dock part of Neon Theme: That's good news because I'm getting closer and closer to completing this project. Could be few weeks or few months before release now.
  9. Looks like Neon Docks is to be done, and I'm done with improving Neon modules: That means the easy parts is coming. I don't know when I'll be this finished with this, but it's looking like this year might be the year I will released this.
  10. Posted a list of what I have now in my computer in the first post. Did a calculation of what I have in terms of existing or once existed modules: ~98.25% to ~98.60%. I found out there might be 6-8 modules missing. If you count in particles and sound, yeah 99% is reached. Here are some missing modules from my further research: 1. King Solomon Mines ICL 2. Lonely Goatherd ICL 3. Dark Ride Environment 4. Aztec Theme (?) [Note: Some of them are in Backdrops 2 Theme and X'Ian theme seems to be retextured Aztec, and Japan Theme is there] 5. Cage Environment by Layton 6. Norwegian Environment 7. The Grid III Environment 8. Terminator Environment 9. Alice's Horror Theme (?) (?) means doubt of its existence.
  11. Thank you. What I have now is what I could track down. It's up to JoeTomNJ of Youtube/CoasterCrazy to come here or CoasterCrazy as YouTube is not the proper platform as my messages disappear from time to time and he doesn't seem open to other platforms which I pointed to. He's literally the missing link to the remaining mods which is very few mods left. Like 6-10 mods which is ~1% remaining. So, it's going to take a miracle at this point. Maybe once I release the project when done, some one else or even he will reach out to me and give me the remaining modules.
  12. Now, down to 2 more neon themes to fix the icons up. So, about ~31 icons to go before the rapid speed up in restoration.
  13. I am here to announce that it will not happen because of complications from YouTube side of things. Automatically hiding comments for approval issues. I hate YouTube. Really. If it is to happen, he needs to come here or CoasterCrazy. Rant over. Still have about 99% of mods any way. So...

This contains every single tools that were used to mod Ultimate Ride games. The only exception are programs and needed extensions to export to .mx formats, but these can be found anyway. Programs that can be used to export to .mx 1. Zmodeler 1.07b 2. Milkshape with Ultimate Ride extensions
  14. This news may or may not be a nothing-burger, but I want to hope for the best, really. JoeTomNJ a former member of MTTM has replied to me via Youtube, and he said he may actually have some lost modules. If he does, that's big news because there's a real possibility of being able to restore the entire collection of modules that existed for Ultimate Ride games, including the forever lost mods that cannot be found on the web. Again, let's hope for the best, really.
  15. Not much news for now. But, I found pieces of Alice's Nightmare Theme. This is actually one of the lost mods for Ultimate Ride games. Could be possible that this isn't a theme at all, but I find that very unlikely. But, from ggraff png files, that picture was found in a screenshot that made me discovered there might have been Alice's Horror theme one day, so for certain I can announce that this theme is now partly found.
  16. Near end of year review of this project. So far, I am nearly finishing up on improving Neon series themes. However, it is still so far away from being finished in terms of times (3-6 months). That being said, I'm confident that once that is cleared up, there will be a major speed in fixing up MTTM modules. Only bad news is that no one still have files to lost mods, and the one I'm interested in the most "Dark Ride Environment" is probably still completely lost. Yes, this project is still being worked on to this day.
  17. There are 4 copies of a exclusive environment named "Voxel Sphere". Here is what they look like: Note: Bottom 2 changes color depending on time setting. Is it worth keeping the first two? As always users can delete those with ease if they don't like them. This is one of the color changes possible for the green one:
  18. I would recommend Ultimate Ride Disney Coaster. You don't need the CD itself to run it either although you do need it to install it. As for the pictures, there aren't changes to the game itself, but to the mods of the games as the mods has issues like buggy mods or icons. And my goal is to resolve issues. The mods can be found within Princess_G archive floating around in some places. I have some mods that are exclusive as I have made these mods, and some of them aren't in Princess_G archive either. There's ~150 Environment mods, ~60 Themes mod, ~30 tracks. And that only means that there are only 6 known lost mods that probably will never be recovered, but at least 5 have some foundations to work with. Dark Ride Environment is the biggest lost mod as it has no foundation to work with. Here's the list of known lost mods: Dark Ride Environment (The most interesting thing to find. No video/pictures exist on what this is) Lonely Goatherd (No info exists on what this could be. From a google search, it seems feasible to have it as a theme with a mountain modeled as a environment). Aztec Theme (Only partly found, not as a theme itself. Mostly recoverable because of X’ian, and Backdrop 2 Theme which are both found, but it would not be the same.) Terminator Environment (No video/pictures exist on what this is. However, a new Terminator Environment could replace this one.) Cage Environment (No video/pictures exist on what this is, but it’s likely made by Layton and therefore, might be simple to recreate) Alice’s Horror Theme (Can technically be remade. No information other than a picture via Internet Archive. Most information are lost.) You can see why 5 of them at least have some foundation to work with although Cage Environment is questionable because it is unknown who made it, but still very much likely a simple texture replacement to resemble cage. 4 of them are based on existing concepts, and therefore new versions can be made. Here is a example of a exclusive environment and theme that aren't found anywhere, but my local computer: This environment is named Cadrestial Desert. Other exclusive mods I have are: 1. Greenarian Mountain 2. Milky Way 3. Voxel Sphere That's about it.
  19. I have decided to introduce my project which I was not able to introduce because there was not enough users or social activity as roller coaster games aren't that popular as I'd like. Anyways, for those who never heard of ModsToTheMax, it was the largest repository for modules for Ultimate Ride games until its closure some few years ago. Now, this thread is going to be about my progress on repairing old mods using mods that was found on ModsToTheMax, and that is despite the manpower required for it to be a successful project. Now, you may ask, how is my progress on doing that? Environment icons has been improved, and most of them matches the content of original games. The main roadblocks are the icons to theme modules as there is more than 500 icons to go through. At the moment, I am stuck on taking pictures of mods for Neon themes, and that is halfway done. After that, it's pretty likely to be completed in less than a year. So, where are the pictures? Here are some pictures with the restoration in work: EDIT: - List of what I have - Environments 2112 3D Space American Nightmare Aquatica Arctic Azteca Big Field Big Top Bio Valley Biomass Black Hole Black Marble Black Rock Canyon Black Top Black Water Falls Blank Blown Darkness Blown Fusion Box 1 - Hell Box CJsAttic CJsCavern CJsOzland CJxmas Cadrestial Desert Cage Caldera Camoflague Arena Castle Whiteflash Cavern Fighter Checkers Cherbourg Gardens Code Red Colloseum ColorfulLetters Concrete Jungle Cookies N Cream Crater Cuatro Caballista Darkness Death Star Desert Development Disco Trance Dunes Egypt Egypt II-Giza Electric Eye Europa Extreme Mountain Field of Swiftland Fire and Ice Flare Field Frontierland II Frontierland III Fruitstripe Gum Galaxy Geonosis Glacier Golden Valley Gothic Land Greenarian Mountain HSX Cavern Hades Halloween Haunted Grid Headache Hideaway Highway Highway Redux Holodeck Hoth Hoth II Ice Age Ice Cavern Ice Frontier Iceberg IndianaJon.
