  1. I love twisty-turny terrain-hugging coasters! Yeah, a traditional lift hill builds up excitement and fear; seeing how high up you are. But the ground-hugging lift hill has its advantages too. Like, not really knowing how high you are, and the first drop is somewhat of a mystery... until it's too late! Then you're going down, down, down!
  2. As for the restaurant's name, "Hallowed Halls" sounds fine to me. I'll just throw out a couple of other names: "The Family Crypt", or "The Mausoleum". 👻

This ride has been "America in a Nutshell".
  4. To get around the ParkCrafters limit, you can open a free account at imgur, upload you pics there, then embed them in your posts here at ParkCrafters. You can read more about it here:
  5. More beautiful pics! Even the Coroner's Office is bright and cheerful! I really wish I could visit Munchkinland in real life.
  6. I find myself guilty of this, not all the time, but often. I became aware of this about myself a couple of weeks ago and have been making more Reactions than I used to. I think the only reason I haven't made more Reactions is simply because I forget to, after commenting. But like I said, I'm trying to remedy that. 🙂

Oh! I didn't realize this festival area was so close to the central fountain plaza. Going back a few pages, I guess you did show us a couple of screenshots that established that fact... I guess I forgot. Thanks for the drone footage.
  8. Tell Evil he did good with the Arctic area!
  9. I LOVE the colors! Unapologetically garish, which is befitting the Munchkins. And I like how the Yellow Brick Road zig-zags and curves even where it doesn't have to. It gives it a whimsical and organic feel. Although (you knew there would be an 'although', right?), the YBR appears to be just a vinyl sheeting overlay, as seen as we cross the bridge, it's just covering the wooden beams of the bridge. Love the ride signs (and names) and shop signs (and names)! The shamrocks in RCT3 were made by (I think) RCT-Spanky. There were only two of them in the set I think, but they were very useful. I used them often, when it was appropriate. And your shamrocks here look very similar to Spanky's; a nice call back to the old RCT3 days! Seeing a bit of the Emerald City and the giant Oz Wheel in the background is drawing me towards it. LET'S GO! I have to say again how successful both of you were in bringing Munchkinland to life. Wonderful!
  10. I like that backdrop behind the start of the Yellow Brick Road. It helps with the illusion of being in Munchkinland... well, except for the Gondolas floating overhead. I also like the lime slices in the pond next to Glinda's bubble; to flavor the water with a little citrusy tang... oh wait, those are probably lily pads... nevermind. ;-) Those big colorful blossoms (gladioluses?) really add to the appearance of Munchkinland.
  11. Ha! You're more ambitious than I am; making all those peep groups and keeping an eye on them. I get panicky just thinking about it. I wish you luck! (and perseverance)
  12. I hadn't thought of the "split group" theory before, but it sounds very plausible. You may be on to something. 👍 If I remember correctly, the elevator bug sometimes manifests itself in the train and monorail rides (and maybe a couple of the flat rides?) as well. The same method that I described above works for them too.
  13. While I don't know how to prevent the elevator bug from happening, there IS a way to get rid of it, at least for the current playing session: Pause the game. 'Double close' the elevator (click on the 'close' button twice). This will force any peeps out of the elevator. Open the elevator again. Unpause the game. Wallah! As far as I know, this will keep the bug from occurring for the remainder of the session. I automatically do this every time I boot up a game with an elevator. It's annoying, but it works.
  14. Even though the pathway is broad, I would probably stick to walking on the Yellow Brick Road... just because. In our first glimpse of Munchkinland (2nd pic) I thought, "Oh , the Munchkins live in termite mounds!" But I get it now, those are just the thatched roofs of their fanciful houses.

It looks both, elegant and casual, indoors and outdoors, at the same time. Nice.
  16. Lots of great photos here! And I enjoyed the way you presented them. Thanks, Wowman.

I'm guessing that round table and benches are in-game items? Somebody did a nice job designing the benches. Very imaginative and artistic... not sure how comfortable they are though; not really any back support. Still, they look neat.

Oooh! The green trees placed amongst the red rocks really grab your attention! Nice!
  19. Thanks for the video, Aerick! You saved the best view for last, from the rear seat!
  20. I love how detailed the fronts of your Main Street shops are! I notice that there aren't any smallish trees along your Main Street. Was this a conscious decision on your part? I can see how it would be a toss-up: On the one hand, trees always look nice. On the other hand, they tend to block the view of all the work you put in. The real Disney parks have that same conundrum as their trees get too large.
  21. Hmmm. To me, the weird rock formation bears a slight resemblance to Miss Gulch herself; something about the hooked nose. With all the "This means you!" signs, I always mentally add "And your little dog too!". I'm wondering what kind of attraction The Haunted Forest is. Walk thru? Tracked ride? I guess we'll have to wait and see!
  22. I see that a balloon stand (or two) has opened up for the 1980 season. Everybody has a colorful balloon! Nice update.
  23. JB replied to Wowman's topic in Planet Zoo
I like the different kinds of animal balloons available at Loony Blooons. I'm guessing those are in-game balloons?
  24. Ah! We're entering the Technicolor part of the Park!
  25. One has to wonder: How many pieces of bubble gum did it take to blow that huge of a bubble? Glinda must have chewed through a couple of cases of the stuff!... And how did she end up inside of the thing?!?! Sort of like a four dimensional Klein Bottle, where the outside is also the inside. Did Wagi make that bubble? Or perhaps it was another Workshop item? At first I thought that was an elephant at the base of the Gale farm windmill. The fence post looks like an elephant's trunk. But then I realized it's a donkey... which makes more sense than an elephant. 🫤 I bet Toto's Animal Revue has a caged chicken that plays a toy piano... for a quarter. So, how was the 'twister' made? Another Workshop item? Another Wagi creation? Maybe an in-game thing?
