Here is what this habitat area ended up looking like once it was nearly completed. Anywhere there is a pick bracket is guest viewing from paths. The yellow lines indicate the viewing area from the jeep ride. The tan box is the animal crossover bridge (over the guest paths). The green boxes are the backstage animal houses (one for each side of the habitat). The red boxes are the keeper backstage areas (one for each side of the habitat). The blue stripes is where the Gorilla Rescue will be located.

yeah, anytime new items of interest are added a swarm occurs. Not in Ft Myers anymore. Left right after that last storm (not because of the storm). I'm outside Charlotte now in a south sub, actually in South Carolina right over the state line. With a good throw I can launch a ball into NC.

So, I placed a few animals in the habitats to start to figure out the layouts and where they can move, etc....and just about every guest in the zoo came a running to see what was going on.

Another area of the queue at night.
  9. Here I added some winding paths to the exit pathways that will wander through gardens. I also started adding the flooring and set pieces for the queue lines. Note that I have a selection of possible pieces to use along side where I'm working so that I'm not continually searching for stuff.
  10. lots of good things to loo forward to and many little hints/things I saw that are yet to still be revealed/shown better. I want to put out another video, but will be out of town til next week.

Here is the planned pathway between the two habitat sections. Its built up a bit to have a better angle for viewing. I will fill this ground in with terrain and rocks later.

Part of the queue line at night.
  13. Here are the two queue lines reconfigured/structured to what will actually be used.
  14. As we get ready for the live game play share that will happen in a few days, Here is my list of the top 12 (or maybe more) needs in the new game. I compiled my list that was real close to what the rest of the community is buzzing about.

Looking at the early stage of the habitat build from the African Ungulate habitat (that contains a jeep ride). This is the view of the mandrills from the jeeps.

Night time shot looking down on the whole ride area.
  17. Different angle showing that the entire ride/s are enclosed in the mountain and the stations and queues will be housed in a separate building.
  18. personally, I like the way the coaster looks with the hills in the background.

The start of structuring the shape and sizes of the habitats and surrounding paths.

Looking down on the back of the city and the Natl Park areas of the track....from the backstage area.
  21. Now that everything is closed in. Time to start working on the queue building and stations. Here is a very rude version of the queue lines before I structure them. I also added the detailed entry points to the caverns for the two tracks. My plan going into this is that the queue/station will be like you are in the ornate temple and the cars take you into the working mine.
  22. I like the swooping layout of Cascade. I have never used that coaster type in my builds, but now want to.

Layout of the Mandrill area. Green is the main habitat. Pink is the secondary smaller habitat. Blue is the animal bridge that connects the two habitats. Red is backstage and keeper area (there will actually be a second red area above the pink habitat side as well.
