DLRP - Frontierland

Presentation

Since March 2025, I've been having fun recreating ‘Frontierland’ in Disneyland Park (the Disneyland Paris version). My aim was twofold:

  1. To stay as close to reality as possible, using as few packs as possible. Whenever possible, I managed to use the same packs from one structure to the next, in order to limit the number of packs to be installed.

  2. The aim was not to create a simple décor, but to allow sales staff to be installed in the shops. These structures can therefore fit in perfectly with any Western-style park while contributing to its financial growth. A total of 24 vendors can be installed inside the Frontierland shops, not including the ‘Riverboat’ landing stage, which can accommodate up to 15 vendors in the two halls.

What's more, here and there there are the beginnings of aisles that lead to RCT3 attractions that we'd like to install later (like behind ‘Shootin Gallery’ or next to ‘Photographer’). In particular, I reserved a space (4 spaces x 4 spaces) to install an attraction in the Thunder Mesa square. The ‘Minefall’ attraction is particularly in keeping with the setting there, and the queue is integrated into the decor.

As I'm a computer graphics artist and have mastered Photoshop, I also created a number of pictures to add realism to each structure, where appropriate (signs, restaurant menus, shop shelving, posters or backdrops). By downloading all the Frontierland structures, you'll have a total of over 60 pictures to place in your ‘My Pictures’ folder, which can of course be used in other parks.

How to recreate Frontierland

Collect the structures

If you want to recreate Frontierland in your park, start by downloading the structures that make it up (you'll find the full list of links at the end of this document). For each structure, I've provided a full list of the packs you'll need, along with details of what they've been used for. If you don't have a certain pack and don't want to add it to your game, you can see how to replace it. For example, you can replace decorative details, lighting or plants with those you own. Only the packs that make up the building itself are essential.

To recreate Frontierland in the same way, I advise you, when you place the structures in your park, to respect the order of their numbers, as they are indicated on the plan below. Just make sure that when you place structure 11 that you align it with the toilets, following the instructions in the .zip file for this structure. If you prefer, you can also place structure 12 (Thunder Mesa) first and then structure 11 (Riverboat). Then finish by placing structure 13 (Phantom Manor).

Order of placement of structures

This will avoid any surprises. It's very complicated to remove a structure just to move it a few squares. You can also start by practising on a blank park, which you can then remove, to check that each structure is in the right place, and decide on your own placement markers.
