Custom Scenery error no svd: for no sid: crashes game. Does anyone know what this means?

Basically the title. I have been downloading lots of custom scenery and a lot work great! however, a couple cause this error that then crashes my game. This includes when I hovered over an aspen tree which I believe is from one of the old-spice tree sets. Another is ralfvieh's toilets. I was wondering if anyone else had this error and if there's any fix. Thanks!

Try to see if the folder you put in Themed does not contain another folder inside, that happens because it is installed incorrectly
Try and let us know! :)

Here is what my folder with Ralfvieh's Toilets looks like. I believe I tried having each of these folders separate in utilities but they didn't show up as an option so they are all in this one folder.

EDIT: I did get the old spice trees like the aspen to work properly however :D. I tried taking the folders from toilets into utilities and as I predicted they do not show up anymore

mmmmmh, were they previously installed in Style/Themed?
You must paste the same folder "RalfviehAttraction" in Themed and that's it

Now I'm trying to test CS to see if it works ;)

I tried it and it seems to work correctly, I'm sure it's installed incorrectly

That worked, thank you! I could have sworn I saw that it needed to go with utilities in vanilla, but I must have misread. Style themed does make a TON more sense especially since that's where all the other ralfvieh scenery goes. I never got to play with much custom scenery as a kid so I'm excited to experiment with all of these that I saw in videos!

I'm glad it worked. Now enjoy! ;)

@Dumaan089 seems to have already helped out but the infamous no svd: for sid error occurs when you've installed custom content wrong and the game is trying to locate those files but can't so it throws and error and crashes. Installing the custom content correctly fixes this issue which it seems you've already done! Be careful with directories and which folders get put in the right areas and you shouldn't have this happen again.

If you ever come across these classic errors there is a topic here that shows a list of the most common errors and how to fix them along with a tutorial here on how to install custom content!

there's this illusion of the reality, but it's not really really real, like it's beside and inside and inside and beside, but never on top.. nevermind, just kidding but not really

I get this error with custom mortars. I do everything correctly on Mac but still get the error

Like the previous comments, this error comes up when you haven't installed custom content correctly. Make sure the folder you are putting in Style/Themed doesn't have another layer of folders in it. For example, if you download a mortar set and when you extract it, it has this directory layout:

MortarSet / MorterSet2 / Location where .ovl files are located

If you place the MortarSet folder in Style/Themed and try to open it in game, the game will be looking for the .ovl files and can't find them because there's another layer of folder before those files (MortarSet2), and the game throws that error and crashes. To fix it, you need to place the folder MorterSet2 in Style/Themed instead. Take a look at the file structure of the CS you downloaded and make sure the parent folder where the .ovl files are located are in Style/Themed.

For more info on this, you can check out this link. Since you're on a Mac, I'm not sure how different it is, but this method should still fix it.
