16 hours ago16 hr Hey all!If you weren't a part of the live viewing of the 2026 ParkCrafters Awards, some new site features got announced that I'd love to share with you all today! These features are currently live and available to everyone in our community. Read below to see what's new!REMOTE UPLOADINGI have often been asked about members running out of storage space on their ParkCrafters accounts or how to upload to a third-party website and post the image to their threads and posts. This new feature, called Remote Uploads, alleviates all of these issues!There is now a new button on the bottom right when creating a post that has a cloud icon: Clicking on this allows you to upload any image to a third-party website, imgBB, and it will automatically embed the image onto your post, which allows you to then resize and move it around in your post. This removes the need to navigate away from the site, figure out how to embed the image, and removes the need to have free space on your ParkCrafters account! ImgBB is free to use, and the images will not autodelete as well - the next time you create a post with an image, give it a try!IMPROVE MEMBERS PAGEOur members page on our site didn't quite show all the information you'd expect to find on the page. We've added some improvements that allow you to easily search and filter through members, view leadboards, and even birthdays! Feel free to check it out!CREATE BUTTON RETURNSBefore our massive UI/UX overhaul, ParkCrafters used to have a create button on the top that allowed users to instantly create a topic, download file, and more. This was removed, but after many users confused about how to add content, we've decided to add this back. You can now click on 'Create +' on the top right of the page to instantly create a topic or a new download in our Downloads section. This hopefully removes some of the confusion on how to add new content, especially in our Downloads section.LOOKING AHEADThe biggest gripe that I currently hear from many members is regarding our Downloads section. We've heard you loud and clear and have plans to reorganize and better categorize them all. We know a lot of folks come to the site to download content, and it is often a hassle to search and navigate through the many subcategories we have. We don't have anything to show off yet, but know that this is in the works!If anyone has any questions or comments regarding any of the new site features above, feel free to post them here or reach out in our Community Support section.
