Planet Drive-In
Thank you for the compliment! I couldn't think of what to call it other then a "scene" but I like the term "environmental scene". Twister is a great movie, I haven't been at a DI when one was happening but there was a DI we used to go to in Missouri that closed down after a tornado took out the screen and did some damage to the concession stand. The family never rebuilt and sold the property, something else is standing in it's place now but I can't remember what. Many DI's closed down and became Wal-marts or shopping centers, sad.

That's exactly what I was hoping for. I too can relate to all the comments you made. I grew up in the 60's and was a teen in the 70's going to the DI with all my friends, the family and I still go to the DI to this day saw Guardians of the Galaxy and Little Mermaid just last weekend, so been there done that, except it's a lot different today then how it was back then. ah the memories lol! Thanks man!

Planet Drive-In
I have worked on this drive-in theatre scene for a long time off and on and want others to see and give feedback. Many objects are other peoples creations such as pizza boxes, hotdogs, props and equipment which I've combined such as foods inside the displays, too many people to list here individually, my thanks to them for sharing their work. If you see something in the scene you've created it would be great if you point it out. Those who create objects and scenes know how much work goes into putting a scene together even when using available objects. The playground equipment, speaker poles as well as any objects combined with stock building materials are my creations with the exception of the merry-go-round. This is just another example of what can be done playing around with non amusement park creations and I personally think it's come along fairly well. One thing that is obviously missing are the people, I haven't gotten to the point of trying to add paths or how to even make that work, any input is appreciated. Thanks for viewing.
