  1. yes that is velocicoaster :D this area actually features a kind of recreation of velocicoaster and a near 1:1 recreation of the river adventures :) we will take a better look at all of it in the showcase this weekend
  2. Thank you all so much for the kind words. im happy that my creations are resonating with all of you :D For the next showcase post on the weekend i think we will take a detour to jurassic park where just recently a Flying coaster was added the lineup. Ill leave you all with this little teaser.

    Stunning. Im in love with all the details. even simple stuff like the air conditioning shafts on the roofs. and i realy like how it seems your roofs never fall out to be flat, i see you worked with some of those bent pieces to break up the flattness. i need to take notes of that :D
  4. Welcome to Grimmworld Step inside the newest Portal World in Wonderverse. Adventure awaits you in the village of harrowdale and the Grimmvale Woods. Many new experiences for guests to enjoy their time in this spooky area. From a stage show over to a wild spinning coaster... or maybe a little drink/snack at the Burning Blade Tavern? Right next to Ehibition 77 a new pathway leads guest from the main hub to Grimmworld Right after travelling trough the portal guests will end up in the abandoned cemetary area of the Village. A short walk trough the cursed fog, following the sound of the chappels bells and youll end up in the safety of Harrowdale. Harrowdale is a very dark village. A Village battered and plagued by hauntings, monsters and beasts. Most Villagers have already left but some appear to still be living inside the ruins, having salvaged whatever is possible, borading up their doors and windows. Despite the dangers surround the village there is still the regular visitors "The Cursed Company". A group of "freaks, monster and witches" that wanders from village to village presenting their "Nightmares Unleashed" show. Its a Setup of two tents. The waiting area and the show tent. In the waiting area there are many requisites and antiquities for guest to watch. Theres also some Vending Machines for snacks and drinks for the show. As soon as the perfomers are ready, guests are allowed into the show tent. Now heading out of the Village into more dangerous areas. Grimmvale Woods. Grimmvale Woods is home of the Werewolf. Guests will board a spinning vehicle taking them on a wild ride trough the forest and even in and out of the Werewolfs hut. His curse cannot be broken. How often will guests dare to face this neverending hunt for the Werewolf? And last but not least, the bburning blade tavern overs some hauntingly good drinks and dinning options. (please note that the tavern itself is not build by me, its only a bit modified by me. credit goes to Jstanz01) Oh and a small bonus. This is the epic Frankenstein Manor which is currently not housing any kind of attraction. Im still hoping to see the kuka ride coming to the game somtime soon. but im also starting to think about possible alternatives to put in there.   5. Hey everyone :) Again i want to thank everyone one of you for all the kind words. I will start posting again this weekend as i did spend more time with the game than i thought i would over the past weeks. Ive also made so many changes that i fear i might forget to post about them lol. Tonight i will post a quick tour of the new spoky portal world „Grimmworld“, one of the 2 last portal worlds coming to wonderverse. Thank you all for sticking with the project and giving me also so much motiviation to keep going, despite the many issues of the game currently
  6. I realy couldnt agree more with you. The suggestions seciton is flooded with repeated requests, theres no moderation or merging of threads and it all just seems like a huge mess. Ive also noticed that out of the 100 questions in the stream question thread, they seemed to have only picked out 2-3 from there, locked the thread and told us „maybe in the future we get to answer more“. Sorry but that just created the impression of trying to make us feel involved when we are actualky not. Also out of all the suggested rides they decided to waste a dlc ride slot for the gale force, and that is at a time and point where they NEED players back in the game. Again it just creates this feeling of „hey we are trying to involve the community but realy were just doing our own thing anyway“.
  7. I honestly dont know what to think of this. Most of times i realy dont like to give any galue to influencers or content creators who directly with the company. Humans are humans, they are biased in their views if they want or not. I also dont see why i should value the words of someone who is already claiming that and unreleased game is gonna be game of the year. For me this was exactly one of the many issues with planco 2 release. We had content creators getting inside infos, hyping us up to the max only to then get a broken and unfinished product delivered. They even hyped us for switch tracks, but nobody even had the thought of asking or researching for us whether those would be limited to certain ride models or in the way they could be used, just to give an example. For those reasons, i realy dont watch any planco content creators anymore. Regarding the future of the game, in my personal view and opinion, i still think frontier is far off from the path they need to take to truly make the game better. We see this in basically every sspect of the game and still feel the consequences of the botched release. The game still suffers from so many gameplay related issues and game mechanics simply not working as they should. Instead of focusing on fixes and improvmenets it seems we ate back to the normal schedule. And update every 3-4 months, some 26 bugfixes, a dlc to sell alongside the „free update“, and vacuum during those months inbetween. And lets not forget that we still have qc issues where each update breaks anohter 5 things that were actually totally unrelated to the dtuff mentione in the patch notes. I just cant wrap my head around how they simply are ok with leaving ride triggers broken for 5 months now. The fact that game was just on its 9th sale in just 11 months is very telling that the financial success is far off from their expectations. I think this is exactly what we are feeling with the current situation. I dont see wny other logical explanation than budget cuts. Forum closed for budget cuts, the focus now being back to dlc and less updates might be due to budget cuts. The fact we havent seen any realy improvement on quality control might be due to budget cuts. The fact that there is basically near zero communication might be due to budget cuts. The fact we are not seeing any expansion on the restaurant feature and the gift shops tells me there might be also budget cuts hindering them to put ressources forward to this. another aspect i think that is not doing the game any favor is the partial „toxic positivity“ i see sometimes. The discord has had much more discussions lately regarding certain issues and bugs, yet for some reason a part from the community still persists on the point that there arent any real issues and the game is perfectly fine the way it is. Most of times these tend to be mostly people who only play the game for content, for creating blueprints or who simply just like to paint a nife themepark wuthout actually playing the game. I often find myself in the position where im bringing forward something i experienced only to get people telling me 100 different excuses on why i should not be bothered or why i should be more patient. Asking for updates on a bug related to the issue trackes itself i get told its not that deep and it probably already got fixed. Asking about when the next update is i get told to be more patient. Asking for patch notes regarding an update i get told „if they dont share it probably wasnt that important“. It seems people tend more snd more to be way to lenient and less demanding on certain things that simply put should not be viewed that way, especially when said company has already burned the community with a flopped release, false promises, misleading advertisement and constant lack of quality control. That in the end tends to send the wrong signals not only to the devs, but also to the community itself where they start to think they are not allowed to discuss anything critical. Im still not sure what to think of his game and frontier overall. The many lies that we got told, the many deceptions, the feeling of lack of care and attention towards the game… it all just makes me feel like they know they effed up and they dont even want to bother that hard anymore. This is not to disvalue everything they done so far, but they keep showing again and again that they seem to very picky about what feedback they take to heart. Im still building a bit on my park, but just this week i decided to open my park again just to enjoy it a bit. Sadly this once more showed me clearly that at certain points the game just starts to completely fall apart in all its aspects. It has many great features, but none of those realy feel complete and rounded off.

  10. sooo i never ever got actually sick or dizzy on any rides, except for maybe funfair rides that spin nonstop. some months ago we went to europa park like me and 6 friends, so super cool group, we go there for 3 days and have a nice hotel like 5 minutes drive from the parking lot. all amazing. we arrive there on the first day and first ride we go on is voltron of course. i expected it to be intense, but holly damn, not THIS intense. the ride literally kicked me out of life. i felt dizzy troughout the whole day and just couldnt realy enjoy anything anymore. later that day i thought to myself cmon you gotta atleast try to do one more ride. we see the phantom of opera VR entrance at the back of eurosat... and so it happened. not only did i went trough one of the most horrible moments ever on any ride, i also had my glasses on me which staff told me to keep on during the ride, it wouldnt be a problem. i came out of that ride with blue eyes because that vr headset was pressing so hard against my glasses and face. even worse, i had to go to the first aid because i was feeling soooooo unwell xD long story short, theres me sitting in the medical building with blue eyes feeling horrible and fighting social anxiety having to interact with strangers lol. 1 hour and a superpepp chewing gum later i walk out of that building to meet back up with my group. we decide to go on arthur which realy isnt intense at all and i thought it wouldnt bother my body that much. well yeah we were stuck in the city show scene (where you hear the dr dre song) for about 45 minutes. all in all maybe not such a cool day but somehow funny. you hope and plan for everything to go great and have an amazing time but sometimes life has other plans i guess xD im going back there again next month and i hope i wont feel this bad riding rides this time. otherwise, i guess they now already know me atleast hahaha
  11. tbh, the only one immature here is you broski. Like we all agree on certain things, but the difference lies in how we word our criticism and how you voice yours. Spamming a copy paste text in caps lock on 5 different platforms realy just makes you look like a bitter hater, not a player trying to bring forward valid criticism…
  12. Hey everyone, Long time no posts. Sorry for not having any new updates to share about the park or not continuing with the portal world showcases. Im currently feeling realy burnt out with planco. not in a creative aspect but more in relation to how broken the game actually still is. its just not been fun anymore nor enjoyable for me lately. the project is not gonna be abandoned but i think its time that i move on to play other games ive bought in during the last 12 months and havent gotten to play because planco 2 was basically all i played. ill try to aim on a return around november december when i also got my music production studio renovations done and hopefully we see some more huge bug fixing updates, though i doubt frontier is gonna do that... See you all soon and again, thanks to everyone who took some time out of their day to leave some kind words here for me and shared their feedbacks.
  13. Yeah the gael flatride is such a random ride. As theyve said they added it brcause frontier has always looked at very special or unique rides to add to their games. But tbh i dont think this is the time where you do stuff like this. This is the time where they need to deliver and are getting as much requests for specific rides and such as never before. Yet instead of delivering they decided to „our way or the highway“ and added a completely useless flatride. Im sure the only people using that thing will be the content creators trying to sugarcoat it with „omg this is so unique i love that frontier added this thing“.
  14. The dlc in my opinion is realy good. I like it a lot, maybe because im biased as i can see myself using many of the new pieces in my next areas. The swing launches and such are also great though i think it was held way to basic. I just wished it was more precise controls. For example the dual sided launch tracks cannot be setup with different speeds for each passtrough. So swing launches like curse of the werewolf are NOT possible. Another point of criticism i have is why tf did frontier even bother with the gift shop when they cant even be asked to give us items for those shops with new themes? Id rather have less dlc and the dlc cover more stuff than having 50 dlcs but each of them is missing stuff to make it feel complete. Absolutely bummed about this… i doubt we will ever see any souvenir items for the returned themes aswell. The update: Absolutely dissapointed. Bug fixing list is just way to small for the time they had now (3 months). The broken pieces from the returned themes have also still not been adressed and at this point i doubt they will ever get fixed. It seems like frontier just throws stuff our way and then just doesnt bother going back to it, fixing it or improving it. Bug reporting list is becoming bigger and bigger but yet again, frontiers bug fixing list seems to become smaller and smaller.
  15. I mean to some extent i even understand that. But my thoughprocess behind this is: we got promised this huge new feature of switch tracks. Turns out on release it was nothing like we expected, was very limited, only available on 1 coaster model and the novelty wore off fairly quick with that. Fast forward 11 months, the most requested feature swing launches is finally making it into the game we imagined it, but frontier then decided to put that in the dlc. To me atleast it just feels kinda off tbh :/ This is something again where i dont understand why frontier did it this way. They completely removed the option from the squencer to simulate nighttime on dark rides. How are people without rt supposed to make any dark rides then? My gpu luckily supports that feature but just yesterday the global illumination setting was crashing on my newest nvidia driver. So yeah im currently forced to play without rt and without any possibilites to simulate darkness inside rooms
  16. tbh i do like the theme of the pack a lot. maybe because im a big hp fan or maybe because i was thinking about building such an area for some time now. but i also have to be very honest that i did expect something more towards a spooky set which in my opinion would also be more versatile for different themes. what i realy dont like is the swing launch "feature" now being locked behind a paywall and frontier simply going the easy route once again. instead of giving us this feature of all switch tracks, maybe even expand switch tracks to other ride models they decided to again put up limitations. the deciding factor if im gonna get this dlc depends on the patch notes and how the game runs when the updates out. i think the flying theatre is a step in the right direction. we dearly need more of these modern and/or themepark flatrides. on a last note, i think now with the dlc dropping next week there will be no spooky this year. if they go for the 3 months release schedule id guess they will give us a christmas thingy in december and maybe leave spooky for next years season.

Hey everyone :D sorry for not posting that much lately, i honestly just didnt feel very motivated to write big posts or anything. just havent been feeling that well. i did however wanted to make a short post here about something new i did in the park. so i have this one big show building in my park, i was using it as a placeholder in the hopes of sometime being able to add a cinema flatride or something into it. however that showbuilding was just way to big and felt very missplaced in its location. ive decided to completely teardown said building and replace it with something new and much more exciting :) My idea was to build a mack stryker coaster and try to squeeze it into this very limited space. Space in itself was one of the biggest challenges in this new addition to the park. i did realy enjoy having that challenge of trying to get the most out of the space i had, it honestly contributet a lot in how the final coaster came out. next challenge was trying to come up with a theme or idea i could follow. so i came up with the idea of the "Grand hall of exhibition", an old industrial factory building where the greatest inventors come together for the inventors fair to showcase their newest machines. This is where Exhibition 77 comes into play. Professor Voltarius invites guests to showcase his new teleportation machine! I honestly also love the view from the mythology area much more. instead of looking at a green wall behind the buildings there is a now a beatifull skyline painted by coaster tracks. I hope you like this small update and as always i encourage you to go download the park and check the queue and ride out for yourself :) till next update where i will continue with the showcase of my areas
  19. the scaling option is always there. for example i can select a building group with nongridded and gridded items, yet when i scale it it only affects the scaleable pieces. regarding the update. i honestly dont know what to think about it. rotating gridded pieces is nice, however this was something i expected to have been in the game anyway since release. same goes for recoloring paths. yeah its great but like cmon this is nothing groundbreaking realy :/ same for the square queue paths. we have been left with what we had for 11 months now, we found ways to work with what we have and even resorted to using stamps. i cant get myself hyped for basic stuff like this. yes its cool and will make our lifes easier in a way but yeah its just that for me realy. the hint towards swing launches is exciting however i fear we gonna get one coaster model and its gonna be limited to that one model and thats it, just like the switch tracks etc. i cant stop thinking about where we would actually be if the game didnt release in the state it did and if frontier didnt had to "waste" 11 months of times and ressources to bring the game up to par with the first one and truly make it feel like yes this is the second entry to the franchise and takes everything from the first and makes it better
  20. Ive looked a bit closer at catwalks in the game and honestly i doubt we will ever see this changed. They apparently dont even care to make the catwalks realistic in anyway… even the struts are done so lazy. Like whats supposed to happen here? Doors the wheel assembly have some crazy technology to turn transparent and clip trough these?😂
  21. i have about 5 rides where all my triggers are messed up and i cant fix them cause everything is mixed up :/ and if after 2 months they dont come forward with a huge list of bug fixing in general then i might look for other games to main :(
  22. I absolutely feel you. I miss the times where we had literally devs sitting in streams explaining to us how they developed certain system of the game. Meanwhile planco 2 has certain features that were never even explained to us how they actually work… I just want to leave this video here for nostalgia purposes :) Its realy mindblowing when you realise there is about 20-30 hours of content that was streamed to us all related to planco 1, workshop creations, community feedback or dev deep dives. That was the frontier i fell in love with back then
  23. Its not just frontier, its parts of the community aswell. Zero expectations, zero standards. Thats the exact reason why the gaming industry is turning for the worse. „you are not entitled to expect anything“ „calling them out isnt a healthy customer-company relationship“ These people clearly just dont care at all, just like frontier… And then franchises get bad releases, bad reception and get put to the grave. Ill be laughing my bum off when planco 3 comes around and ends up beeing the final nail to the coffin. The themepark genre was so dry for such a long time, and still is. I was realy happy with what frontier did with planco 1 and now they seem to throw that all away. Uts like shyguy said, the franchise is amazing but its in the wrong hands currently

    Man i dont mean to bash other platforms or their users. But the frontier discord is just so full of defensive people. Whenever i write anything slightly critical i have the same 4-5 users jumping in trying to come up with excuses, workarounds and „oh it cant be that bad“. Even worse they joke at people voicing criticism and keep making fun of that criticism. Ive never felt more alienated from a franchise or its community… Glad i found this place tbh
