Highlands Beach
Alright so for the first update the work is all on infrastructure. I've been working on the surrounding roads and the parking lot for the last two weeks. I want to get all of that done before I begin working on the actual park. This is the entry sign from the highway, you'll see it when going north on the peninsula. Then I also finished up the car tolls, they’re surrounded by so much unfinished space but what is done I am very happy with.

Well it's been a little bit since I posted in here, not intentional just haven't had a project that I felt warranted it's own forum in here. Well here I am, my big Planet Coaster 2 park is here. Spent the first few months getting to know the game and it's pieces, and I finally feel I have the skills to pull off a large realistic park. As mentioned with one of my previous parks, this is a project for Theme Park Sims United, a theme park simulation discord server that attempts to simulate realistic park growth better than the game itself can. I start off with a short list of rides I can build that will grow as the park progresses, here's what the list is with this first post: - PTC Wooden Coaster (Comet at Great Escape) - Zamperla Giga Discoverey (Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth at Six Flags Great Adventure) - Von Roll Skyway (Aeronaut Skyride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg). - Aero Affiliates Flying Coaster (Kennywood Kangaroo) - Arrow Dynamics Antique Cars - PTC Carousel The majority of these rides will not function and will be custom built as they aren’t in the game. The park itself is heavily inspired by Cedar Point, as you'll notice when looking at the location of the park. I really liked the location of Cedar Point but wanted to build a more local park in this kind of spot. The land chosen is located on the peninsula of Sandy Hook in New Jersey (the park was originally going to be called Sandy Hook but was changed for obvious reasons). There was originally a resort with some amusements here, so the backstory of the park is that this small beach resort that no longer exists in real life, made it to modern day as a fully fledged amusement park.

Seven Seas Theme Park
Finally, the coaster I don't want to reveal too much yet since it's still not finished quite yet But I'm gonna leave you with one image and this information, it's an Intamin Mega Coaster based off Kondaa at Walibi Holland, it was made by my friend Ensho1 and it kicks ass. That's all for now! Hopefully the next post won't take so long, see ya'll soon

Seven Seas Theme Park
Okay, so the arctic area is being worked on by a good friend of mine named Evil, he's an awesome builder who has built some of the best dark rides in the game. He offered to help me out by constructing the park's arctic themed land and safe to say it's incredible what he's done. The basecamp cafeteria is gonna be the area's main restaurant, the second qsr location in the park. Then the entrance to the second aquarium in the park is themed to look like a crashed research vessel. This building is also empty but hopefully not for too much longer. He's also currently working on a trackless darkride for this area but I'm not gonna show anything from that because it's still very early in development.

Seven Seas Theme Park
It's safe to say it's been a little while, idk what happened tbh, this park has been worked on fairly regularly (got some exciting things to show off) but I just never updated this forum. Well, I'm gonna cover as much as I can right now and show you guys the current state of Seven Seas. Last thing I showed off was the entrance area, but I've since moved far past the entry gates. The area past the entrance is themed after the island of Key West. A bunch of the buildings are directly based on buildings in old Key West and if you've ever been I know some of you will notice some of these buildings. This building is going to eventually be the first aquarium in the park, holding a variety of Caribbean fish, currently the building is empty because I haven't started the interior but it's on my to-do list and will get done eventually. Next up is the train station, in real life this would at some point have been a functioning trolley that people could ride around the park, but at some point in recent history the trolley line was restricted to just the Key West area to serve as theming rather than an actual transportation service. Directly next to it is the park's fudge shop because every park needs a fudge shop (non-negotiable). Next up is Sloppy Joe's Bar (ignore the giant tower and coaster in the background), based off the iconic restaurant in Key West, this restaurant would serve as not only a place to eat but also a place where you could get some live entertainment with local bands playing here often. Live music is a huge part of Key West and I wanted to incorporate as many places where shows could take place as possible. The building next to it is currently incomplete so I'm not gonna say anything about it just yet. The last building in this area completed is the Conch Republic (again ignore massive coaster), which is a qsr restaurant serving typical theme park food along with some seafood options. Gonna break this up into multiple posts so up next will be the arctic area being worked on by a good friend of mine

Seven Seas Theme Park
Okay now for the fun stuff, I decided to start off with the park’s entrance. The custom wood work took a long time and totally bloated the piece count but the end result makes it worth it. Next we got the actual turnstiles which lead into the park, you can also see the customer service building in the back. Finally a night shot of the ticket booth building. This whole entry area was inspired by the former SeaWorld Ohio, if you look at photos of that park you can see it in the shape of the buildings

Seven Seas Theme Park
Hey guys, it’s Nitro, Got myself a new project I want to share with you. It’s got a bit of lore so get ready. Seven Seas was originally my only Planet Zoo project. It was an aquarium located in Washington state and it got fairly large. It was a project for the discord server ZSU. ZSU is a role play server where you are the owner of a zoo or aquarium, you start with a small group of animals and through trading with other members and completing events you can expand your collection. The old Seven Seas went strong for about 7 months but in the end my lack of a overall vision is what killed it. Fast forward a few months after I joined ZSU and I created the server TPSU. I wanted to create a server similar to ZSU, it became a pet project for me. The goal was to create a system where people would be encouraged to build more realistic parks, focussing not only on their rides but the other important aspects of theme parks like food, shopping, etc. The latest version of the server launched a few months ago. Of course with it being my own server I needed to have my own park. So I decided to bring back Seven Seas…. This version of Seven Seas is my take on a SeaWorld style park. It’s my idea of what a SeaWorld park would look like if there was a real attempt at theming from the beginning with legitimate themed lands. It’s also my project for both TPSU and ZSU. That being said I do have some restrictions because of this. I can only build the rides and tanks that I have acquired through these servers. Here is my current ride list to build: - Mack Multilaunch - Mack Spinning Coaster (Sierra Sidewinder) - B&M Flying Coaster - Skyway - Intamin Parachute - Sally Dark Ride - Huss Troika - Gurstlauer Polyp - Larson Flying Scooters And here’s my current list of animals: Red Lionfish, American Flamingo, Warty Comb Jelly, Royal Gramma, Jewel Damselfish, Flame Cardinalfish, Gray Angelfish, Sergeant Major, Queen Angelfish, Foureye Butterflyfish, Spiny Dogfish, Shy Hamlet, Reef Squirrelfish, Doctorfish Tang. (Gonna start a new post to start showing progress) links to both servers if you’re interested: TPSU: https://discord.gg/MmU6NZ6FB4 ZSU: https://discord.gg/8hPbUvEzqm

Planet Coaster Mini Park
Back with another update! Except this to be the last one for at least 2 weeks (got work next weekend and the SATs the week after) but I’m really excited with where the park is going, about halfway through the western area now, which will likely be the best themed area in the park. First up is the parks first flat ride, named Iron Lasso it’s your typical claw ride. Fairly simple to put together, hide the in game platform and made my own custom one to make it look better scaled. The sign is what I’m most happy with, used tmtk poles to look like bolts in a iron sign. Also finally put a restroom in (might be important). A simple, smaller building. Ended up sinking the in game restroom to get the building to a normal, non-gigantic size. Behind the scenes work is ramping up on the new coaster which I’m going to be showing off properly sooner rather than later (stay tuned).

Planet Coaster Mini Park
Well it’s been a hot minute, sorry about the week long hiatus. Thought about doing a post last Wednesday but in the end decided I didn’t have enough quite yet. School has started up again which has stolen most of my playing time along with my job taking up some of my weekend nights. Nothing I can do about it unfortunately, I’m gonna post as often as I can. Getting right into it here’s another one of those BroNation brands. BroBQ was originally started by Redline for Summerdale but has quickly become a staple in the BroNation Community. This is the second one I myself have built. Wanted something with a large patio or outdoor seating place, in theory the building itself would only he where food is made and ordered. Also in the second photo you can see something big and blue poking out in the distance. Thats a gift from a from a friend of mine, its not quite done yet so for now thats all you get. Also as a little nod to NoNameLandia this sells Rocky Mountain Oysters, if you know what they are I would bet that you’re probably disgusted by the thought of them lol. Then all the way on the other side of the park is the Festhaus. Very much inspired by the one at Kings Island, it was originally going to be part of the entry area which was going to be themed to a Bavarian village. I have since changed gears on what the plan for the entrance is and have instead decided to have a smaller area with the main dinning hall being the Festhaus. Also plan on having a brewery in the park so people can get bat shit drunk on overpriced beer (the true theme park experience am I right?). That’s all for now, its a smaller update I know but there are other things being worked on that are just not in a finished enough state to show off but they will be coming soon.

Planet Coaster Mini Park
Funny you should sat that, that building was directly modeled after one in Knotts Berry Farm and I believe the original building was right in the area near GhostRider. I really want to be able to pay tribute to and thank all the other creators who have helped me get to where I am today, it’s something small but I feel its a nice nod. And yeah really like the vibe that I got set up with the western area so far. Thank you! Its a tough balance for sure but I’m happy with it The woodie is actually only like 80 feet tall. It’s size is definitely deceiving, think the custom supports are part of the reason for that. And yeah I really do try to get close up views of my buildings from peep view (also simultaneously trying to hide stuff thats not ready to be viewed yet lol).

I’m running on a similar machine, same brand and everything, only difference is mine is team red lol. The fans are really loud but the system runs really well especially considering its a laptop.

Planet Coaster Mini Park
So for today’s update weren’t starting work on the first strip of buildings in the western area, I have been HEAVILY inspired by Knotts Berry Farms’s Ghost Town here. The first building here us just a General Store, I built this mainly just to use to set the tone for the surrounding buildings, something to use as a reference. The next building here is a drink refill stand similar to Coca Cola Freestyle you see at both Six Flags and Cedar Fair Parks. However, I decided to be different and use FizzWizz, Mike Sheets’s soda brand that you may be familiar thanks to BroCoaster and NoNameLandia (I’m a BroNation member and plan to fit all of their unique brands in the park). Next up we have my personal favorite of the three, Mr. Moose’s Gift Emporium. Mr. Moose is a fellow planet coaster player and good friend of mine so I decided to build this as thank you for the awesome work he has done in my parks. That’s all for now! Work keeps chugging along so I’ll make sure to keep you all updated!

Planet Coaster Mini Park
Thank you! And yeah mini definitely doesn’t mean less quality, I always gotta go the extra yard with realism. Yeah the smaller park size has been giving me some more leeway with piece count which means I can cram as many details as I can lol. So as for future plans I am thinking a grand total of 4 coasters, this woodie, a kids coaster as previously mentioned (already done just needs scenery) and then 2 larger thrill coasters (you’ll be finding out about one soon enough). As for other attractions it really depends on how much space I have after that but I know I want some sort of water ride and a shooting dark ride.

Planet Coaster Mini Park
I’m back! Been a while I know, been trying to find some new ideas to get excited to play again. My buddy Dutchie just made a video talking about how every project has a amount of time you can work on it until you run out if steam, so he along with a few other planco platers like Maskedbandit have been building smaller mini parks. I’ve never been able to finish a park that I’ve started so this go around I have given myself a smaller space to work with in hopes that I can finish it before I run out of steam. With this park I really want to show the difference eras of theme park design here in the US. We’re going to start with the 70’s when the park was founded. Tornado is a wooden coaster in the western area designed by Ron Dosser and William Cobb, who also designed the likes of Rolling Thunder at Six Flags Great Adventure and Judge Roy Scream at Six Flags Over Texas. In 2024 for the 50th anniversary year, the park gave the ride a retrack to make it very smooth along with a brand new sign and theming elements in the station. There was plans for more theming elements in the queue but unfortunately the budget ran out and the park settled with only some barrels and new lights in the queue. In a little while you’ll get to see the other additions for the 50th anniversary which includes a Vekoma Junior Coaster (model 254m) a Shoot the Chutes ride from White Water West and a brand new shooting dark ride.

Planet Coaster 2
She honestly might be right, the latest leak we saw says a release in November of 2024. If that leak is to be believed we could see teasers ramp up from November to April and then get the official announcement in April or May. It makes sense, Frontier likes to announce games right before release and release them in November a month before the holidays.

Shadow Creek Amusement Park
Well sorry this update took a little longer than usual. Lots of family events got in the way and I had no time to play planco. Just a small update this time. A new restaurant has been added to the park. Chickie’s and Pete’s is an iconic and well known eastern PA restaurant chain. Most known for their crabfries (crinkle fries with old bay seasoning served with an amazing cheese sauce) and cheesesteaks. I built the signs about a year ago using tmtk beams, they’re up on my workshop but are super piece heavy. The building itself is definitely a newer build, probably from the early 2000’s. Super happy with it. I’m going to be away for a few weeks, on a midwestern trip that’ll include Cedar Point! Safe to say when I get back my inspiration will be at an all time high. Until then a friend of mine has taken the park file to build an Arrow Dynamics Suspended Coaster! Stay tuned for that.

Shadow Creek Amusement Park
Well this week we have two fairly large additions. first we got everyone’s morning stop, Starbucks. Originally it was a carnival stand, but it has since been renovated into a place to grab that first (or fourth) cup of coffee. Next we have the wave swinger, the parks chair swing ride, located just across from the root beer stand. Here’s a small overview of everything in the area (just ignore the giant wooden structure in the back). I’ll be back next week with more!

Lets take a break from the next coaster and focus on the next park icon, the root beer stand. Constructed back in 1933, the stand has sold many things, but for the last 40 years its sold Shadow Creek’s famous root beer. Here are some day and night pictures. (Building was actually made by a friend for the original Shadow Creek but it never found a home. He has a YouTube channel https://m.youtube.com/@MrMoose-oo9nx where he is building a Magic Kingdom type park in Planet Coaster if you want to go check it out.)
