While here 'lemons' are actually 'limes' as both lemons and limes share the same name - "Limão", the traditional yellow lemon is refereed to as a "Limão Siciliano". I think I recall that green limes sink while yellow lemons float because of different densities, but that it's not always true. But I'll still go with C: Lemon floats, lime sinks

Frontier closing their forums...moving entirely to Discord
They announced that Frontier's Forums will be closing at the end of the month (six days from now...), and instead will rely on the community posting on Discord. For many this isn't much of a change because you use Discord regularly. For others, Discord is just something we just don't use, even if we have an account, myself included. I find the short notice a bit troubling, but honestly Frontier checked out community-wise ages ago...

Never Before Seen Early Plans For Disneyland
How cool! It's interesting to scroll down and see how the plans gradually grew more and more complex as ideas were added, some even more complex than what was actually build! I love maps anyways, but these are exceptional.

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Back to the show after that interruption... Heading back up Main Street towards the front entrance. we come across a side street next to City Hall - W. 1st Street. This marks the entrance to our residential street area. Here period homes show how families lived in each decade of the late 1800's to the early 1900's, complete with new inventions from those years... Think of it as a stationary Carousel of Progress...where YOU move and not the stage... E. 1st St becomes Elias Place at the corner... Right behind the City hall is a vacant lot that runs from E. 1st to E. 3rd Street...currently offered for sale... Some of the local kids have made use of the lot, scrounging up old lumber and odds and ends from construction sites...There's an air of excitement in town, as the poster show, the Mickey Mouse Circus is in town at the Storyville Fairgrounds! And here we find the local branch of the Mickey Mouse Club! Nxt door is their playhouse, where the neighborhood kids put on shows, just like the Mouseketeers would in a few years time on those new fangled tele-vision machines! For now they are more like an Andy Hardy movie... The clubhouse is based on real Disney Imagineer artwork shown below. Both structures I envisioned extending under the hill, hiding their bulk... At the other end of Elias Place on W. 4th Street, there's a service building with restrooms, first aid, etc. Next door there's a shop selling Mexican food (see? No bakery...), a Drug Store... And on the corner there's a Photo Supply Shop...need film for those Brownie cameras everyone's bringing this year! On the other side is a Penny Arcade...Uncle Walt feels no one should leave the park with any spare change in their pockets! Across the street is the beautiful City Park, where many a courting couple has found themselves sitting together on a bench at the scandalous hour of 8 o'clock in the evening, only to have Officer Paddy Wagen remind them to be on their way while h protects the young gal's virtue... Further into the park there's a playground for the wee ones and picnic tables (no doubt needed with all those bakery's...) But back across the street is our next destination...the Storyville Fairgrounds, currently hosting the traveling Mickey Mouse Circus! While we wait have yourself a chocolate eclair or stop by for a haircut...there's shop for either close by!

Never heard of that effect, but have known for a time that hot water freezes faster than cold, and that answer seems to fit... B: Freezes

Mickey Mouse Park...a new park re-imagined by Wagi
Strange occurrences pop up from time to time on this park...things go missing! For instance some weeks ago when I opened the bench parts of the circus area we haven't seen yet were missing, the pieces were downloaded TMTK items that I still had in the game. I chalked it up as a mistake - perhaps they were grouped with something else that was removed. So I had to spend time adding them all back. A couple weeks later I noticed some pieces were missing from some structures downloaded from the Workshop. I check and they seemed to be TMTK items that this time were no longer showing up, so I re-downloaded them. Since I had already saved the bench that didn't cause them to re-appear. One structure I was able to clone the missing bits by downloading another copy of the structure, the other structure I could find in my items downloaded from the Workshop, so I had to create my own version of the missing part. Checked the bench, found nothing else missing. Then last week I discovered yet another structure missing some of it's parts. This time the TMTK pieces all seemed to still be downloaded, so I just removed the structure with the missing pieces, and replaced it with a fresh copy of the structure file...which had all it's parts! I have a lot of TMTK items downloaded, I haven't removed any in ages, so other than me perhaps deleting something that was grouped with the missing items (possible of course...), I not sure why things go missing from time to time. Anyone sticking needles in a voodoo doll representing me...lately anyways? LOL!

I think JB is actually correct (see, read his post...this time...) B: The only Temp that is the same for Fahrenheit and Celsius As an American living in a metric country, I still have one app set to display Celsius, while another app displays Fahrenheit. Not really for my benefit but so that when on a call to family in the States who invariably ask how hot it is here I don't have to break out the calculator to do the conversion math...

That's ok Wowman, I'm sure JB is used to people glazing over a few details in his posts. Why, people have been known to totally ignore his posts, so I wouldn't worry... 🤣

Screens must be of the Men's room...(oops! Just noticed the urinals...). Wanda usually leaves the nozzle on the air dryer aimed upwards after she's done. Especially after using said urinals... She needs one set at a lower level like the drinking fountains so she doesn't displace her hip raising her leg up so high. Like that one lower urinal they installed for her. Beats having to power-wash the tiles around it all the time.

Over-priced "souvenirs with "Disneyland" plastered all over them."... Years ago we visited a town in southern Brazil where they had a garment factory that was contracted to Disney at that time to create t-shirts, hoodies, etc. (they no longer have that contract I believe...), they had a factory outlet store there that sold factory seconds and over-runs that was full of Disney-themed apparel meant for the parks, all for a dollar or two U.S. each. That was before our first trip to WDW, so we loaded up. Still buy some at the parks on our annual trips but they certainly didn't cost a buck or two U.S. either!

What was your favorite thing to do in the RCT games growing up?
But many of us were never 'kids' when RCT first came out. Some, like citytrader for one (and likely the ONLY one...), weren't even middle aged but counting down to that birthday where the President of the United States sends you a card congratulating you on reaching the century mark. I, myself, was a youthful person on the cusp of 'middle age' - where I've miraculously remained ever since... However, like that jar of moldy mayonnaise at the back of the bottom shelf of my frig, I've been around the community for a long time. The old sites - RCT Station, RCT Depot, RCT.com, shyguys...all the best ones at one time or another considered a restraining order...or two. I build parks, create CSO and TMTK, cause havoc...none of them all that well but I do enjoy doing them even for just my own benefit, although some may frankly wonder 'why???'. There's friends I've known for more than 25 years through RCT, and that's the most important thing from these games I sincerely think.

Lightning Pass is only $25??? Either Wonder didn't notice that misprint or there's aren't any actual rides or things you can use it on...

How else they gonna pay for the joint? Beer joints and tattoo parlors won't cut it! (This is the precursor to Disney later having multiple stores selling the exact same merchandise every few feet as they do now!)

Headed up Main Street...Boston Cases and Bags on the right, Hotel Marceline on the left. Emporium up ahead... Story Book Store and City Hall on the right... Here we'll turn onto East 2nd Street... As the street curves we have the First National Bank Building, followed by Storyville Arcade... The Bridal Shop and the 2nd Street Cinema... I see Tilly is manning the ticket booth again today... As we go around the corner, a coffee shop, barber shop and an eatery line the block before it meets back up with Main Street... On the original plans there was a small odd block that seemed to have interconnected facades...my guess was that they were townhouses, as Walk always had an "Edison Square" in the back of his mind. So I went with that idea, but since I couldn't decide which style of townhouse to use, I ended up using one of each, but never went back to choose only one.. Nothing in them... Next time we'll explore the town residential street on Elias Place...
