  1. Welcome to ParkCrafters! Excited to have you here!
  2. Welcome to ParkCrafters! I remember seeing your comment on Reddit, hope someone on here can help you out!
  3. Like the previous comments, this error comes up when you haven't installed custom content correctly. Make sure the folder you are putting in Style/Themed doesn't have another layer of folders in it. For example, if you download a mortar set and when you extract it, it has this directory layout: MortarSet / MorterSet2 / Location where .ovl files are located If you place the MortarSet folder in Style/Themed and try to open it in game, the game will be looking for the .ovl files and can't find them because there's another layer of folder before those files (MortarSet2), and the game throws that error and crashes. To fix it, you need to place the folder MorterSet2 in Style/Themed instead. Take a look at the file structure of the CS you downloaded and make sure the parent folder where the .ovl files are located are in Style/Themed. For more info on this, you can check out this link. Since you're on a Mac, I'm not sure how different it is, but this method should still fix it.
  4. Looking good! That set has so much potential for some insane lighting, can't wait to see how it all comes out in the end!
  5. No worries, and yes, they will be realistic! The pack also includes some unrealistic effects, but it will contain all normal effects with multiple variations. vPyro and The Creators' Lounge closed due to low activity - RCT3 has always been available to purchase via Steam and other places. This is the latest and largest RCT3 community currently - we have people still making effects and shows! You could check out some of the shows members have made or are currently working on here: https://parkcrafters.com/tags/firework-show/
  6. Sentine Parks & Attractions tends to send me some pyro inspirations for my upcoming pack. I thought I'd share them here and create a repository of real-life effects that would look great in RCT3! Feel free to add to this if you have any additional real-world effects you'd love to see in-game. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DKma-O2vCl8/?igsh=NGUzaWtqZjI1dXJr https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIVfh8SNYJs/?igsh=MXg3MWNkMm53azRocg== https://www.instagram.com/reel/DKhN-fWvZE2/?igsh=OHBsbDV0OHJmdHE0 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DKPJfrHvmqv/?igsh=aWVhZXo1eXhvNWZy https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16Rx9LfgJ4/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16n9GSRQyi/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1FWo3Ku7fK/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.facebook.com/share/v/15Tg9T1LKq/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18fmdP11sX/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1CAunhgGzd/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1CENG1b6et/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1J4opcV5yU/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  7. Hey, and welcome to ParkCrafters! Yes, we have a big community of pyro people here (including myself)! Many are still creating new shows and effects and uploading them to our downloads section. I'm actually currently working on a huge pack that will contain over 2,000 effects and will be released on ParkCrafters when ready. Feel free to download packs and start creating shows and sharing them here; we'd love to see them!
  8. Really cool to finally see that structure in RCT3, it came out great! Good luck with the recreation, it's looking great so far!
  9. Beautiful shots! This is looking to be your best show yet! The only piece of advice I can give on these is not to be afraid of using different shades of the same color. That second shot you have has yellows and oranges as a primary, but using various shades of yellows and oranges in there will really add some depth to your palette. This also helps with preventing those color blobs that RCT3 unfortunately has when you overlay too many effects on top of each other!
  10. Yeah, while the set itself is gorgeous and extremely well done and unique, the effects themselves still aren't the best. If Frontier would give us an AFE and an actual proper sequencer/mixmaster, then, like Kablary said, it would be perfect. I can't even imagine what shows like what we do in RCT3 would look like in PlanCo2!
  11. That main hall entrance looks great, love the small lake/fountain you have too - I know from experience how hard it is to get that shape just right, haha Looking great so far, great updates!
  12. Nice to see this finally announced, good luck on the show, and looking forward to it! The original is a tough one to beat

  18. INTRODUCING CLUBS Hey everyone! We've got a very exciting new feature that was just announced at the 2025 ParkCrafters Awards that is being released... right now! Introducing Clubs! Clubs are a great way for like-minded members to create a group to collaborate and chat with. These clubs are all member-created and member-driven, meaning anyone can create a club, anytime! There are no limits to how many clubs you can create or join, and all clubs are public and open to anyone to join (if the owner chooses to!) Select a club owner, and they can create a club with any specifics they wish. Looking to work on a collaborative project with other member(s) and need a more private place to share and discuss in a forum-style conversation? Participating in a competition and need to work with your team on a single project? Looking to just create a group with members who have similar interests to just chat with? Create a club! This has been a long worked on feature behind the scenes with staff, and we're so happy to finally see it released! We can't wait to see what clubs will pop up and will be monitoring them for any further improvements we can make! What are you waiting for? Start your first club today! - The ParkCrafters Team

  21. Happy Two Year Anniversary! Hey everyone, Can you believe it's been two years? Two years ago, on this day, we opened ParkCrafters to the public, creating a new home for all things virtual theme parks and simulations. What was once just a risk and fully expecting this place just to be an archive site for downloads has now exploded into a full-on active community that continues to carry the torch of this decades-old community! Every day I look at this community, I'm shocked at how active and dedicated everyone is - and how we continue to gain new members! It's amazing to see how much this community continues to thrive with new projects being shared every day, new downloads being uploaded and downloaded, people participating in events and competitions, the Discord server having almost daily voice calls, and so much more. In the past two years, we've achieved: 490 Topics 6,514 Posts 3,605 Files Uploaded 190 Personal Messages sent between members 5,497 Reactions 166,079 Files Downloaded 159 Files Comments 126 File Reviews 2,509 Total Members 22 Badges Earned 329, 631 Achievement Points Earned 3 Competitions Hosted 2 Award Shows Hosted 30+ Million Site Visits Migration of ALL Custom Scenery Files from ShyGuysWorld ...and so much more! I'm happy to say that ParkCrafters continues to be very successful, gaining more success in this past year than it did in its first year of operation! I'd like to thank each and every member who visits and partakes in ParkCrafters every day - you are the reason we continue to have a successful and active community! I'd also like to thank the staff team for continuing to help out, participate in discussions, and taking the time out of their days to make ParkCrafters the best it can be. I never thought we would reach this amount of activity when I first built this community, so THANK YOU all so much! This community means so much to me and was a big part of my life, and I'm so happy to see it continue to thrive in 2025! Looking into the future, ParkCrafters will, of course, continue to supply new features, events, competitions, and a home for all things this community will ever need. The staff team and I still have so many more ideas we'd love to get into your hands! We can't wait to see the future of this community! Happy anniversary, everyone, and ParkCrafters! Here's to two years and many more to come! 🥂 The celebration doesn't end here, though! Join us TONIGHT for the 2025 ParkCrafters Awards on our Discord server, where we celebrate the past year of ParkCrafters, the community, its members and projects, and a sneak peek at new features and projects! You won't wanna miss the biggest celebration of the year! Thanks again, everyone, keep on crafting and sharing your projects, and I look forward to seeing you tonight at the awards! - wolfpaw
